What our travelers says:

1 year ago Jan-Kees Gdescribed this experience as follows:

Rented a Beverly 300 for a couple days at the end of May. Great service, great bike. I have seen many great roads. So many corners. Every biker should ride on Gran Canaria once in his or her life. I asked them to remove the wind screen because I didn't feel any fresh air in my helmet. That was no problem. Highly recommended roads: GC-60, GC-200, GC-210 and GC-605.

1 year ago Lars Næsborgevaluates this place as follows:

Great service from start to end, we had a Honda CB500X and was riding 2 persons, both city, motorway and small mountain roads, all fine size. we will rent at Tivoli next time in GC.

1 year ago Kristenwhat can I say about this place?

I rented a CB500F for 24hrs, the cost was 80 euro's and the process was quick on both pickup and drop-off, had a great day wandering around the interior and NW of Gran Canaria.

We had to give a safety deposit to them and when we returned the bike we got the money back without hesitation or a problem! :) would rent a bike there again! (Grand Canaria and cheap helmets but who cares lol) gas was very cheap there aswell :,) we paid under 1 Euro for 1 liter petrol

What our travelers says:

1 year ago P Thomsonhow did he rate it?

Absolutely OUTSTANDING food, service and atmosphere I cannot praise the food enough the chicken literally melts on your tongue, they will cater to your own personal tastes and really go all out with children’s food, the staff were the most polite and well mannered you could wish for and the owner well he is just amazing really went out of his way to make sure our meal was out of this world HIGHLY recommended. We will definitely go back time and time again……. See you guys in March

1 year ago Sudharshan Ravi- why does he think this place is on the list?

Do not go here if you can help it. Especially if you are from India/Pakistan/Sri Lanka/Bangladesh. We got terrible treatment even though we were Indian and the waiters were Indian as well. The manager with glasses and a tie was the worst. The food was ok but getting much worse treatment that other European guests is not a good feeling. Especially when Indians such as us are supposed to treat guests as Gods.

1 year ago George Hunt: it is necessary to add to this place:

We came as a group of 8 whilst on holiday, they didn't have an 8 but 2 x 4 which was absolutely fine as younger ones ( teenage to 20s) went on 1 and the older adults had the other so that was fine. However, I did feel slightly that the waiter was irritated or didn't want us, could have just been a busy night. The food was nice to be honest, BUT whenever I've had a curry I generally feel stuffed, but most of us came away feeling hungry. I've never had that at an Indian restaurant, however we didn't order poppadoms so maybe why?!?! Not sure. Food was decent thought. Just expensive to come away hungry.

1 year ago Chelsea Ahlgrenevaluates this place as follows:

Delicious food and really good menu selection! We enjoyed the grill plate, chicken curry, rices and garlic naan bread. We did not have a table reservation and needed to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The portion was big for me, so I took my leftovers home. The green yogurt sauce was really good!

1 year ago Nicolas Hwhat can I say about this place?

Overpriced, since the prices for the dishes on the menu are WITHOUT a side dish like rice or naan which you have to pay an extra 5€ for. But that is not written explicitly on the menu so we were really surprised when we ordered our dish for 15€ and the waiter told us thats only for the sauce. We felt a bit scammed. So please add information that the meals don’t come with a side dish. It’s not much effort and people will not feel scammed. Judging by the comments we were not the only one’s who felt that way. Not everybody knows how people do it im the UK and they shouldn’t since your restaurant is in Spain. The food itself was pretty good but the sizes were too small. We were still hungry when we left. The service was okay, we didn’t need to wait and the food came quick.

7. place belongs to Sioux City Park San AUGUSTIN

Sioux City Park San AUGUSTIN
Numerically, he has the 9.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 943-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Lada Salamakhadescribed this experience as follows:

Interesting western park. The actors give three short performances of 20 minutes each. In between, you can go and photograph the locations. On the territory of the park there is a cafe, a grill area and a souvenir shop. You can also feed the animals. Food for them is sold in the gift shop. We were in the park for 5 hours and we were not bored. It will be interesting for both adults and children

1 year ago Alan Aevaluates this place as follows:

Fantastic day out from start to finish. Lovely free Bus scenic view trip from Amadores Beach all the way to the Entrance and a return trip home later. Great place to go with some fab shows spread out during the time there. Don't want to spoil it for others but some fab acting and Gun shoot outs along with lots of time to walk around taking loads of photos and exploring the Wild West City. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again. Took tons of photos and videos. Just returned from another visit today and again had another amazing experience. All the staff do a fantastic job and the shows are amazing. Definitely get value for your money and well worth the trip. A little tip though. When you are in the saloon watching the last act at 14:10 don't sit near the front as those "Guns" are extremely loud 🤣🤣.

11 months ago Victoria Zhurauskayawrote only this for this place:

It’s a really interesting place for children and adults. You can see different animals: horses, cows, goats and little goats, little piglets, donkeys. All animals are well cared. Interesting shows. The park has a stunning atmosphere of the Wild West, with actors in beautiful costumes. Good place to visit. But for kids up 2 years it’s expensive.

1 year ago Grace O'Sullivanexplained best how he liked it:

There is so much to say! Cast and crew were superb, the shows were interactive and amazing. I took my Daughter on a girls day out and I was more than impressed. She was made to feel like a princess of the west and that was just in the shop it was better with each step we took. They were very busy but still took time to speak with all the visitors and they are family orientated with plenty for adults too. You can take the free bus, various resort pick ups so check the locations on the timetable, the staff will call for a taxi if you miss the bus (we chose to), they stayed until we were safely in the taxi. The kindness from each staff member was heart-warming and made my Daughter feel like she was a VIP. They have farm animals that you can view and interact with some of them and the staff knowledge of them is fantastic. Horse rides are available (extra fee), be sure to check out the barbecue (extra fee) and buildings. Lots to experience here, prices are very reasonable for the experience and I would highly recommend!

1 year ago Eddie Suttonwhat can I say about this place?

It was our last day on the island and my sons wanted to come here and I’m glad we did, I was a bit sceptical but absolutely enjoyed every minute. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was full of fun and shows. You can hire a horse for some horse riding, feed some goats there is a saloon for some typical pub food (it was good food). The shows feel like they never stop the entertainment keeps flowing, there is enough time in between shows to grab some food and souvenirs. If you want the full experience if you get the chance make sure you participate in the shows especially the last show in the bar, I’m not going to say too much (but you will want to 🔫💥)

Visited this Botanical Garden at midday in May. Quite a hot day but there was shade. Not a riot of colour as I had seen on previous years. Anyhow it made for a pleasant walk.

1 year ago Dan Curtisdescribed this experience as follows:

Beautiful place just a stones throw from the Yumbo. So nice to sit on the massive bench and just enjoy the nature surrounding you! Definitely worth a visit and it cost nothing to get in so what can go wrong!

1 year ago Erin Shepardexplained best how he liked it:

I second the review from Andrei below “Nice park. Relatively small, relaxing, free of charge. Nice selection of plants. Not all of them are signed, but that you would likely expect from free-entrance garden. We spent a beautiful hour there.”

2 years ago Imię Nazwiskowhat can I say about this place?

Great place with free entrance to visit in Maspalomas, but needs a little care. Some of the signs with plant information are too far away to read from the path. Other are missing the sticker or it's damaged. A few plants are missing the signs at all. The place seems to have no benches to sit, but there are small retaining walls along the path which you can use as the benches. The toilets are very clean, but there was no soap near the sink. Also in the northern part of the garden some of the water used to water the plants, leaked on the walking path creating a small puddle of mud.

1 year ago Paulina Chudnicka: it is necessary to add to this place:

There are many different plants in the park that are worth seeing. Entrance to the park is free.

Good green zone. Playground is very old and some places lost a rubber base, which cover a concrete. I saw a moment when boy fall down on his back and probably have broken a coccyx. Getting stars off because of security reasons.

3. place deserves Aqualand Maspalomas

Aqualand Maspalomas
We rate 7.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 8941-times

What our travelers says:

11 months ago Debbie kinsellaexplained best how he liked it:

Absolutely great place to visit. Lots for adults and kids. Food and drinks are quite pricey. Lockers €7 and you can open and re lock as much as you need. You can have your phone vac wrapped which is very handy for taking all the pics you want. Sunbeds €5 which we never used with being on the slides so much. Great day out just make sure you have plenty of water. It’s a sun trap. Very helpful staff and friendly at the stations for wrapping your phone and lockers.

1 year ago Kevin Garland- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

We had a really good day out at Aqualand. We bought the tickets in a deal with Palmitos Park tickets. You get a discount if you buy for both. It's easy to get a bus there, and it stops right outside. Once inside, you can get a locker to store your stuff while you walk around. You can also get your phone totally waterproofed. They seal it in a bag and you can still use it to take pictures etc. There is a good selection of water rides for children and adults. Also a really big pool that is sloped like a beach, every hour they turn the waves on. There is also an opportunity to swim with sea lions or get a picture with them (at an extra cost). Plenty of food and drink options there, not the cheapest but good quality. If you love being in the water then it's definitely worth a visit!

11 months ago Rob Turnerhow did he rate it?

A fantastic day out, plenty for all Age Groups. Sun Beds are €5 and Lockers are €7, which can be returned to all day around with a PIN Code. They are big enough for two small backpacks. Easily Accessible via Public Bus or Local Taxi. Food & Drinks are expensive, there is no avoiding that, do yourselves a favour and take a packed lunch, there are plenty of shaded tabled and chairs. There is a fair amount of maintenance happening at the moment with retaining walls being rebuilt, paths repainted so a slight building site feel. Staff are generally pleasant and helpful ensuring you get on each ride safely. Some of the steps/paths can have some debris so consider investing in some water/aqua shoes which can be kept on the rides.

1 year ago Emily Charlotttedescribed this experience as follows:

Had a lovely day and loved the facilities, we found it to be cleaner than we thought as reviews did make us worry! Lockers are €7 and we payed €10 for two sunbeds which we didn’t think was bad. €5 for a coke but it was massive so felt the value was good. We did the sea lion experience and loved it! Lola was really lovely and seemed happy. The trainers were great, really friendly and informative and we got 40 mins and 5 photos with Lola and another sea lion for €65 each - so worth while! They all seemed well looked after, happy, and had lots of space! We went on the water slides and had fun. However on one we ended up falling out of the dingy in the middle whirlpool part. This was really scary but we managed to get back on and going. We got a bit grazed, including my partners head, so we stuck to the wave pool and lazy river after that! However would definitely return!

11 months ago Ian Newlynwrote only this for this place:

Brilliant day out. €5 for car parking, €7 for locker, and € €10 for waterproof phone, so do spend bit money before you get in, the food prices are same as any theme park area really expensive. But we did have a good time on all the slides. You can also pay for either to swim with a sealion or your photo with it. We did go at the start of November and was empty, which was nice. I can imagine in peak season it's very busy.

2. place gets Faro de Maspalomas

Faro de Maspalomas
We rate the place at 9/10!. This place was visited and rated 10836-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Lada Salamakha: it is necessary to add to this place:

Beautiful lighthouse. Entrance inside and to the terrace is free. I am always interested in the history of the places I visit. And the museum inside the lighthouse helped me understand the history of the island better. At your service there will be interactive screens with a brief history and photographs of the life of local residents. Information on the screen is provided in 3 languages. English, German and Spanish.

1 year ago Iwona Jar- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Fantastic place for walking. Many restauants around. There is a musem in the lighthouse. Lovely and big beach. From the beach you can go for walk to Dunes Maspalomas, beautiful relaxing area.

1 year ago Mette Madsensaid the following about this gem:

The Faro de Maspalomas is a beautiful 19th century lighthouse located at the southern end of the Maspalomas beach in Gran Canaria. It is an active lighthouse, but it is also a popular tourist attraction. The lighthouse is 56 meters tall and has a range of 23 nautical miles. The lighthouse museum is located in the base of the lighthouse. The museum tells the history of the lighthouse and its role in guiding ships to safety. It also has exhibits on the geology and wildlife of the area. The craftsmanship of the lighthouse is evident in its beautiful architecture and its intricate metalwork. The lighthouse is a fine example of 19th century engineering. The observation deck at the top of the lighthouse offers stunning views of the Maspalomas beach, the dunes, and the Atlantic Ocean. Overall, the Faro de Maspalomas is a worthwhile visit for anyone interested in lighthouses, history, or beautiful scenery.

11 months ago Debbie kinsella- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Very pretty and plenty of local restaurants and shops close to the lighthouse. Well worth a trip

1 year ago Ahmetwrote only this for this place:

The Maspalomas Lighthouse is an iconic landmark on the southern coast of Gran Canaria, and it holds a special place in the hearts of both locals and tourists. As one of the oldest lighthouses in the Canary Islands, it not only serves as a guiding light for ships but also as a beacon of history and charm. Standing proudly at the southern tip of the island, the Maspalomas Lighthouse is a striking white structure that contrasts beautifully against the blue skies and the golden sands of the nearby beach. It's a sight to behold during the day, and it becomes even more enchanting as the evening approaches when the lighthouse begins to cast its warm glow over the landscape. Visitors can explore the area surrounding the lighthouse, which includes a picturesque promenade along the coast and lush gardens. The views from this point are breathtaking, providing a panoramic vista of the Atlantic Ocean and the stunning sand dunes of Maspalomas that stretch as far as the eye can see. For those interested in history, a visit to the lighthouse's small museum offers insights into its maritime importance and the evolution of the area. The entire experience is enriched by the gentle sea breeze and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. The Maspalomas Lighthouse is not just a navigational tool; it's a symbol of the island's beauty and heritage. Whether you're captivated by its historical significance, mesmerized by the scenery, or simply seeking a tranquil spot to unwind, this lighthouse is a must-visit destination when in Gran Canaria.

Imagine that you are in a place where you can completely relax and forget about everything. You can sit and admire the beauty of the natural dunes overlooking the sea and feel like you are in the Sahara for a moment. Beautiful place. I recommend👍

1 year ago Petra Ráczwrote only this about this place:

Really nice place to visit, right next to the beach. The sand dunes are stunning. You can walk them easily but sand is extremely hot, make sure you have appropriate footwear.

11 months ago P Iwhat can I say about this place?

Simply beautiful at sunset or sunrise! During day even night ! When you’re on island you must go through to experience this desert like place . We’ve parked near Avenida De Alemania and walked through the dunas to the beach. It’s about 20min tough walk if you’re with young kids . And sun + 30 degrees doesn’t help 🥵. But it was well worth it .

1 year ago Astroverse 1how did he rate it?

We visited Maspalomas Dunes around midday by bus. The dunes were great, and luckily, it wasn't too crowded. The sand was hot, but that didn't deter from the experience. One thing to consider is that the nearby beach isn't very family-friendly due to many people walking around without covering up in a public place. Keep this in mind if you are planning to visit.

1 year ago Tsarlin Domingo: it is necessary to add to this place:

Breath-taking. Mesmerizing. Best to visit a few 1-2hrs before sunset so that it's still bright but not too hot to explore the dunes. Definitely the number one must-see if you visit Gran Canaria
