An absolutely superb bar right in the centre of town. Friendly staff, great service. As you walk in the smoking area is to the left downstairs is non smoking and is massive with brick exposed arches, tvs and a great food and beer menu. You're talking a pint from €1.90! The food we had was fine and again great value. We loved it here.

A must-visit establishment in Košice, offering a wide selection of beers and delicious accompanying dishes. Highly recommended.

Good prices and great selection of beer. I was drinking 500ml of Budvar at €1.90 each. Two issues: smoking was permitted indoors (so didn't stay more than one drink) and the service was slow (took a long time to receive the bill after asking for it).

Big beer pub with loads of different beers on tap. Prices are good for the Old Town location,with most big glasses going for 1,50€ or less. Maestro is a nice smooth beer on tap here

A proper Slovakian pub with traditional interior. The staff were super friendly. Great atmosphere too. My friend and I from UK were invited by 4 locals to join their table - we had a chit chat about the local area etc , & then 1 of the bar-ladies came to talk too & we ended up doing a Slovakian shot of a spirit 😂 great time & company!!!

Nice 2 levels shopping mall. Many stores with diverse items to chose from. Billa market is present here.

Superb shopping centre. Lots of shops, cafés, restaurants and a supermarket. The pedestrian areas were clean and tidy with escalators to each level.

I think it's the best mall in Košice. Centrally located, easy to find the shop you need as it is built straight forward, three floors, with no confusing internal design as in some other malls.

Was in on Sunday and was absolutely disappointed from food court, absolutely ridiculous choice , they have just Asian food or fast food chains and no sign of local cuisine at all. Shame

Very cosy atmosphere, the waitress was really nice and helpful. We had a chicken salad and I have to say, it was delicious, especially the home made mayonnaise. The orange and grapefruit lemonade was tasty. If you’re looking for a place to chill - this is the place.

It is a great place. Food is amazing (try the beef cheeks) coffee is also pretty nice. All in all. You will enjoy

A nice, laid-back place that offers plenty of breakfast options. You can consider it as a good option for a cafe and a cake. We went there for a lunch, however, and food was great too - easily among the ones we'd consider visiting again. The menu consists of mostly traditional meals but with a modern twist, which plays out very well. There are a couple of more generic options as well. The service was excellent. We were at a table outside (great spot for people watching, by the way) but on a hot day you can appreciate that the room inside is air-conditioned. It's not the cheapest place around, but it's also not very expensive. It's definitely a very good value for money.

Great breakfast. Really satisfying, especially considering the price. The scrambled eggs with onions were really good. Service was prompt and friendly. Food arrived nicely warm. (we came for dinner and then back again for breakfast!)

A fine restaurant, helpful staff, English menu and above all, a very tasty food. Prices are not sky high and the atmosphere is very cosy. Highly recommend it. PS: got some scrambled eggs in the next morning too.

Usually good food and beer, yet often the service extremely slow. We've waited for about 40 minutes with our beers ordered, then left. This pub needs either more servers or fewer tables.

Such a great place. We couldn't believe how cheap their food was (50 cents for broth with noodles!). Service, food and beer degustation were great. Thanks for a nice lunch:)

Pleasant place, good beer. As for the food: the popular pork with sour cabbage and 'knedly' was more better (at least for me) in the socialist era, somehow in that times even at the more humble places they didn't use canned row sauerkraut and the knedly was always fresh, as well. (And the the portions were larger.)

We went to taste the beer everyone told us is great, so we can maybe order some foe our wedding. Beer: I tried all 4 beers from them. My most favorite was Dark beer, then IPA, 12° and lastly 10°. For thw wedding though, I would get 12° beer as it's better for average beer drinker. Burgers with french fries: I had "half kilo" burger with BBQ sauce and burger fries the burger was quite tasty, patty maybe too big for me and a tad too salty. Fries were alright, maybe not salty enouhg and bit dry, but average birger fries. My fiancee had chicken burger, I havent really tasted it. He liked the potato pancake inside. He didnt complain so I take it as great. Other: My only bigger complaint.would be that the waiter was slower than I am used to, but it might be because we were seated too far in the back. Overall I would recommend coming there for a lunch/dinner/beer. 9/10 for me.

Delicious traditional Slovakian food. We had pierogi, fried smoked cheese, and grilled vegetables and loved it. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Beautiful restaurant with rustic interior and a nice atmosphere. The food is overall delicious, and the Zurec soup is absolutely the best. Service is kind and friendly, will definietly visit again.

It's a very good place if you want to try traditional Slovakian cuisine. In fact, everything here is designed around tradition, from food choice to interior design, which is filled with old items from farms. We went with some local specialities and we were happy with the choice. Garlic soup with smoked cheese served in loaf of bread definitely stood out, so I'd recommend it. We were sitting inside on a hot day, and the place could use better ventilation. It's not even the smell from the kitchen. It's like that there wasn't enough air inside. We ended up sitting in a room next to the entrance, as other were just a bit to much. They do have a garden outside, though. Prices are on a rather affordable end of the scale.

I went to this place for lunch and had a very positive experience. I had some pierogis which were tasty and filling. Ended up ordering some more to my hotel room for dinner because they were so tasty. Card payments accepted, crew speaks English. English menus are available.

Good traditional Slovak dishes, nice interior makes you feel like in Janosik movie. Prices seems reasonable. Staff nice and helpful.

Got to say it's the best pint ( or whatever size it is-see pictures) in Kosice. Went there on local recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Service was great with a very friendly English speaking waitress who kindly brought me a menu in English. Quick service and food was lovely, pub very busy though and you may struggle to get a table. Prices ok, ( see pictures) not the cheapest in town but quality is far better than cheaper pubs. If you are in Kosice this place is a must if you can find it!! Downside is if you didn't go looking for it you would never find it as it's on the top floor of a shopping centre.

Had a lovely meal here, it's on the 3rd floor of the big indoor shopping centre, the staff where friendly and the food arrived fast, menu in English, had a lovely dark beer, only 5 mins walk from the train station,

Food is tasty and wasbdelivered fast. Staff is very friendly (they accept both cash and card). Cannot say how the restaurant is after work hours, but one can unwind during lunch.

Very good pilsner (from a tank, the freshest!) and great, attentive service. Decently priced and good food, the snack food was very good. We meant to stay there for only one beer and stayed almost all nigh. Next time i will try the ribs, they looked delicious!

I had their garlic soup and beef burger. Very tasty, and very reasonably priced. Quick and friendly service, card payments accepted. Would be happy to return.

Went for dinner… We were two of about six people in the restaurant, and it took just over an hour to get our food. And you’d think the food would be good after all that time! It was not ! Don’t recommend if you’re hungry.

The creamy garlic soup here is delicious - I would love the recipe! It didn’t feel very medieval though, it would have been great to see more medieval influence and perhaps some medieval music too!

The 2 stars are for the 2 dishes that tasted good and the waitress. Other than that there was nothing good. Food was over an hour late. Two dishes of the table were much later than the initial hour. It wasn't that busy when we turned up so how the food was so late is beyond me.

Amazing food, atmosphere and workers. We got our food fast! Drinks came like in 1 minute - amazing. Pasta was... delicious... 10/10 really the best pasta in WHOLE Kosice. Amazing taste, great price. Pancakes were also really good. I will come back here again for sure. It was really 5 stars !!!!! Recommended!!!

Lovely place hidden in a beautiful street in Old Town. Service was nice and quick, food was great, though nothing special. Menu is priced very appropriately.

Very nice street cafe, which also looked good inside when I went to pay. I went early (11am) and just had simple pasta - Spaghetti Aglio e Olio - and a shandy (radler), which cost about €6 in total. The service was prompt and the food was very nice. I usually avoid pasta in Slovak restaurants, but this was a good one - well cooked spaghetti with lots of garlic and parmesan. The cheese was a little clumped together, but a quick stir soon sorted that out. It was getting pretty busy, and a bit noisy, by the time I left, just before midday, but I'll definitely come again. Recommended.

Recommend place by a friend and it is just awesome place - over 20 beers on tap, one better than other and the food - whole other level. I had Pastrami chilli cheese fries and it was perfect. Will definitely return for some more.

This place is great. Come to Slovakia, if only for the feast of flavors at this delightfully local brewery. Come talk to Erik, the philosopher bartender who educated us about the culture of Košice, the politicians of Slovakia, the Ukrainian academia in this beautiful city, and about the local ingredients carefully selected to make the indescribably delicious experiences that poured out of every one of the 3 or 5 different recipes of beers I enjoyed at his bar. I must come back here again the next time I'm anywhere in eastern Europe! :) Thanks for the education, Erik! Hope to see you soon 🍺😎

Good amount of beer choices, waiter gives good recommendation for your tastes. It's just service is slow, or understaffed. The place can get really loud, so if you want to have a good chat be prepared to lose your vocal chords. The food... terrible. Beef tartar was a disgrace to the meals name. Big chunks of meat, not shredded at all, no pepper, no salt, no mustard, no red paprika. And the toasts were just regular bread that saw pan for like a minute, no oil. What the heck. I do get it that different restaurants different recipes but this really had nothing to do with Beef Tartar. I liked this place for years, unfortunately I'll come back maybe only for a beer, but I'll rather eat somewhere else.

Place was nice but it was nothing compare to the waitress. She was very nice, recommended us the beer eactly for our taste and was constantly asking if we need something. Literally one of the best service i received in my life. I got the burger and itwas very tasty juicy and bun was soft. We also got tacos, one with pulled pork was good but beef and chicken were just ok. In our opinion just 3 tacos with pulled pork would be better. There is like constantly 20 beers of various kinds on tap. I think no more comment is neede on that. There was also calcetto (table football) which we also liked a lot. All in all this is one of the best pubs not just in Kosice.

Great for McDonald's restaurant. Of course it isn't the best burger in the city, but is a proved classic. They have kind and helfull staff. Near the train station, swimming pool and also very close to the city centre. There are delivery options and drive-thru. If you like fast-food totally recommend.

A wee bit overcrowded but, the meal was quite nice. For starters you CANNOT order from the till. You have to use the machines and there is a play park next to it. And a McDonalds with a balcony!? So cool!

3customers and we re staring at our food laying on table getting cold, after 3long minutes on table bigmac was cold also as fries, where are you mcdonalds standarts???? cold burger and quite rude service, also drinks were messed up, horrible

IT was 40 minutes to get the order. IT was already cold. We ordered chicken burger and they put sweeat and sour sauce in it. Ín the other chicken burger was ketchup. It was terrible.
