Stopped in here to try out the food and we were all happy that we did. They have wonderful burgers and sandwiches along with tasty gourmet style fries. We had the chorizo fries and the parsley garlic fries and delicious is the best word for them. We also had their pastrami sandwich, bacon burger and pulled pork sandwiches and were so happy with the food. The pastrami was flavorful and thick slices and the pulled pork was great. They make a great burger here and I will say that none of the people in our party went away unhappy. Stop in if you are in Zilina it is worth it!

It’s great restaurant for burger and beer. There is also menu for steak but the eaters didn’t recommend for it. 😁 The burger is the best choice in the burger house.

Best burgers in town. Honestly, I couldn't find burgers this good anywhere, not even in the US. And I've really been trying for about 3 months there. The service is always perfect, the beer is very good, complemented with good selection of rum, environment is great, and other foods are top quality too. One of the best spots in Žilina.

Great burger. I've ate many burgers but this is in the top 10. I've heard some people say that it's too small and for anyone wondering if it's small or not. It's the right size. But otherwise the food selection is great. This is quality over quantity after all and you can get a burger with double meet patty. Beer is also really good. The beer here in my opinion outperforms some pubs even. I also didn't know that Gordon Ramsay cooks in Zilina.

Food is as amazing as service of the restaurant. Very warm and delicious. Appreciate everything, as a foreigner, this place was a gift.

A very good restaurant outside old Town. Do not miss it.

Two stars for good tom yum soup and for willing to change my burger meat. Tom yum was fine. Waiter had really hard time to know what is inside of which burger and what is inside of dips. Do not eat burger, it was not medium as asked, but dry as hell. Asked for IPA special written on the wall,did not have it (old season beer info). We adviced waiter to wipe it down, if it is not valid info, Still written on the wall hour after when we were leaving. Legends say, that it is written there until today.

I had an excellent burger there and the desire to order something more. Nice service and fitting interior. I will remember this place the next time I’m in Żylina.

Even though the price of the steak was bit too high (25euros). It was well done. Fries and periperi sauce made the combo much better. But the portion wasn't enough. Chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream was one of the best desert I ever had in a while . Totally recommended this cake I gave 4 stars just because steak price and less portion of fries

A nice place especially when you sit outside. Sometimes it can be really crowded so I recommend that you book in advance. Food is OK but sometimes you feel it in the plate when the chef was really busy! UPDATE I visited the place again in May 2022 and dishes were even better and more tasty. Added some photos too!

This restaurant is, hands down, one of the best Italian restaurants I know. I have visited Vulcano for more than 10 years, and with utmost pleasure, I can say that over the whole time, they are keeping their high quality and level without compromises. This is an amazing accomplishment in itself! Needless to say, the food is exquisite and the service is awesome. Fully recommended to try this restaurant out - and hopefully return frequently!

They are very famous for their big and delicious pizzas. You can order with Kofola (Slovak Cola) or Vinea..Good apetite...

They accepted the takeaway order and after that after we called them they tried to do everything to cancel it. Thankfully my fiancee speaks Slovak fluently and she managed to get us the ordered pizzas. However, the driver was so unpolite that on every try to speak English with him he reacted with anger and even if my fiancee was speaking Slovak he reacted nervously. We had to go for a 10 minute walk to the nearest hotel as our place of stay was not already given adress, so that’s okay but the driver wasn’t there waiting even though he told us that he will be waiting there. He was on the main road and when we called him that we are in front the hotel, he drove there furiously almost hitting us. When we got the pizzas he told us that we should be glad that he brought us the pizzas and we should try to improve our Slovak. I think even if Ľudovít Štúr alone would be talking to this guy, he would still not be able to communicate with clients :) To be fair, the pizzas were good after all.

Very good place to eat. Food is delicious and prices are OK. For beer drinkers it hase poor beer selection and sometimes the smell of smoke can be felt on the table area.

As you would expect, a typical shopping centre based McDonald's. Has the advantage of having a McCafe for those seeking an alternative to the burgers and fries or who just want a decent coffee.

Food is of couse as any other McDonalds but the staff was very rude to me - her name is Veronika. This has totally discouraged me from ever going there again.

It is my second visit in this place and I am very happy that we've found this restaurant with my mates. Very tasty food, served quickly and for quite reasonable price! Probably will visit again during our next trip to Slovak Tatras.

here you can enjoy real slovak dishes. Waitresd very nice, they allowed us to enter the terrace with dogs -not so in other slovakian restaurants- and they also bring water for them. that was really appreciated! good food, nice place, park very near and not noisy but calm. We really enjoyed it!

Very good food, we live veď the tripe soup, beef ribs, fried cheese trio, while bryndzové halušky and duck pate were good but not perfect. Very nice and fast service, huge portions.

Not bad food for reasonable price. But waiting time for food is definitely too long.

We stopped there on our ride from Slovakia to the Czech Republic. Easy to find with good & free parking options. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were very welcoming. Halušky (traditional Slovak food) was great, fruit-filled dumplings unfortunately less so (they were one of those deep frozen packages).

Underwhelming and expensive food. Had pizza for lunch here, to be exact the "Quattro Formaggi" and was pretty underwhelmed by the whole experience. The pizza is large, to big for my taste. Would prefer a bit smaller and more affordable. But the main thing about the food overall is the lack of quality and using quality ingredients. The pizza did not have anything at the base, no tomato sauce or other substitute. It only had the different kinds of cheeses but mainly it was some kind of regular gouda and gorgonzola. So the pizza was dry and pretty salty. The staff was also mixed, one of the servers where nice and welcoming (and spoke English). The other did not seem to happy by the looks of it and janked our plates at the first possible opportunity. They have a nice location though with good outdoor seating. One other thing that was strange to me is that they calculate some beverages in 100ml. So you need to specify exactly how much you want, it's good to have options but for me it just makes it more complicated to order.

Great food, brilliant location. Shame about the toilets 🤔 tiny and right next to the stairs leading up to entrance. Very impractical.

During our visits in Slovakia we have tried pizza in few restaurants. But this was our most favourite one by far. Tasted like traditional Italian pizza. We would highly recommend to try this place. They serve other cooked meals as well as pizza, good selection of drinks including local beer on tap. The waitstaff was very pleasant and professional, the pizza Oven is in open space so you can see the chef cooking. We met chef Marek and his colleague who cooked our pizza, they did excellent job and were very friendly to show their skills. Well done.

Pizza and burgers are good, but the menu of the burger has only 3 types of burger to choose and menu of pizza is very long. The other dishes are good but nothing special. Price around 10 euro. Location a bit old but nice. The baddest drawback Is that the staff don't speak english and don't understand It, so Is very difficult ti communicate.

Best waiters I've ever saw. Cheap prices. Big, tasty meals. And when I say big it's freaking large! Now the overal indoor esthetic of the place is pretty amazing as well compared to some restaurants in the city center. I recommend this place to anyone who loves pizza. They won't be disappointed.

Excellent stay, beautiful rooms, very clean, superb breakfast and friendly staff. Also the fitness centre on the 10th floor is out of this World with amazing views over the surrounding countryside. We've been coming here over the years and I highly recommend.

Very clean and modern hotel with bit of local twist. Breakfast is one of the best I've seen on this level of hotels. Roof bar has nice view over the city.

Great hotel : 5mins walk from train station, massive rooms with views, comfortable beds, lots of amenities in the bathrooms (incl. Sewing kit and shoe polish !!). Breakfast was excellent, the SPA, bar and pool with 360 view on the 10th floor are the cherry on the cake !

Price for the room is not adequate to different Hotels and there is nearby train rail which Is sometimes loud. But to be positive rooms are good for rest and breakfast godtier.

It was very hot in room. AC system is bad. We get steak we couldn't cut it. But everything else is just perfect 🥰

The Pork fillet with mushroom sauce was amazing, the best plate I have never taste here in slovakia, also the other meals taken by my friends were smelling good as well The crepe for the dessert was okay, nothing special but still good to finish the diner The ambiance was also nice, crowded place so if you want a seat, you and yours, a big table or just a table for 2, maybe you should make a reservation (online), It can be done in 5min and check in one hour However, the waiting was very long … at least one hour If I’m right, no kidding But it was worth NB : English is not so used, so a bit difficult to communicate, but no big deal, that’s not the point, foods are

The burger was really good. The beef were cooked very well. I won’t give this restaurant 5stars because of the costumer service and staffs. There was a blond short hair lady who weren’t friendly And I think she was upset with me because I couldn’t speak Slovak!!!!

Very good restaurant near the Mirage OC and main square od Zilina city. We were on lunch here, they offering weekly menu. I choosed grilled salmon for 7,70€ - very good and tasty for that price. Dispite that they have a lot of people for serve, it took severe minutes and we have lunch on the table. I definitly recommend this restaurant! Fast and vey good food!

Great food, excellent service, reasonable prices. Location at the very center of the town. It was a right place for us to spend hot summer evening. Unlike other eateries and bars in the vicinity, this one remains open after 8-9pm. The only thing I can complain: they serve only Czech beer. I know everything has gotten globalized and Kozel is stronger, but I hope there must be a place for local product.

Mc Donald's in Slovakia and Check republic is so much nicer than in the UK! Lovely ingredients, lots of choices. Well enjoyed veggie burger and double cheeseburger with coffee and fries...

Miserable organization of work, the implemented a new system that makes the place even more crowded than before. Mc drive is total rubbish, as it doesn't have the capacity nor a dedicated waiting lane and it blocks the whole parking lot. It's a shame this is the only drive-through in Zilina and they still didn't figure it out properly.
