A very clean place which is very important, and a big interior. Our order was ready fast which I'm not used to it( because other branches take time to make it ready) and it was nice, the only thing is that they had not placed the burger in the middle and it was badly put between the bread.

It's is what it is menu wise. Nice clean place indoors when we visited Easter Saturday around 1115am ,was not busy. A bit of a lay out issue outdoors as the kids play area is next to the drive though que! Ok it's fenced off but the car fumes !! The bin I took pic of, it's really this corner im high lighting, as its a hiding place to check your phone if your the floor attendant!

Ordered at 19:05 and didn’t get my order until at 19:50. My number was on the board and after 30 minutes it just disappeared! I eventually spoke to a worker who was able to jumpstart my order. There were plenty of drinks lined up waiting for the rest of the order, and mine was not one of them…as I saw order numbers 40 orders after mine, I realized that somehow my order had been forgotten. I understand that it was rush hour, but it was clearly a case of forgetting my order, which I don’t understand

It was fun to compare UK maccies to Dutch maccies. Sad they don't have veggie dippers here but it's whatever. Otherwise it was a fairly standard experience. It wasn't very busy so things were speedy and the place was clean.

Food was on McDonald's standards however our salad and mckroket were missing from our order, after going back to the counter we got them but then the "chicken tenders" that we ordered, turned out to be a veggie chicken burger cut in half... Overal food taste was fine but please check your orders when you receive them.

It was a wonderful place to stay, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean, comfy and secure. We only had breakfasts, which are tasty yet a little too basic. Had no problems during our stay. Not sure whether we imagined it or if we actually saw a mouse by the reception area. Would stay again. Next time. Thanks for hosting us!

Cute, hipster and quirky and also quite basic. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing is, the pillows were way to soft. They might as well not have put a pillow at all. But apart from that, affordable hotel with good connection to the city center.

A gem of a place, great for remote workers. I stayed in the "Cabin" rooms with shared showers, it was actually very nice. But they are noisier than regular hotel rooms because there's not much sound dampening around the doors. Still, great value and not busy when I was there so I loved it.

Really fun and quirky hotel. I love that it’s right outside the metro because that suited our needs. There is a lot going on here!! Roof top hot tub was lovely on a cold November night We got “upgraded” to a family room. My main concern was that the steps are super slippy in the room and that there are NO main lights making it hard to see at night, especially when getting ready to go out. No mirror, fridge or kettle either. So it was kind of hotel, kind of hostel. Just wish it had a few extra bits that hotels have. Really enjoyed our stay! It suited us but I wouldn’t come back because it just needed more basic necessities in the room We also arrived at 1030AM and our room was ready. So that was a winner!

Volkshotel is a wonderful place with everything you’d ever want in a hotel - fun and comfy rooms, delicious breakfast, spa/hot tubs on the roof with an amazing view, and lovely drinks at either the upstairs or ground floor bar (and even a club in the basement). We had an amazing stay here as a group of 4, and though the hotel is a little out of town, everything is in walkable distance really! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Me and my friend stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The servivce was very helpful & amazing. The food was really good and the rooms were clean. The location is actually really close to the centre, only 4-5 stations with the metro. We liked the fact that there were always people in the lobby, neither studying/working with their laptops or drinking something in the cafe of the hotel. There is also a restaurant downstairs with good food. Our only problem was that one day we put the card, that says that we want our room to be cleaned, in the door of the room (around 11 am that is not late), but the housekeeping never cleaned it! Generally, I would recommend this hotel, I was satisfied.

Very good hotel (it says 3 stars but definitely a 4 star) paying attention to sustainable tourism. The rooms are spacious, clean and with modern yet welcoming design. They also include a nespresso machine. The lobby, restaurant, and co-working spaces are all very well-designed. The staff is very friendly. Just a few minutes away from Amstel metro station

There’s a lot I liked abut this hotel, and a few frustrations, but I’d consider staying here again. It’s in a good location, being in a quieter part of town yet only a few minutes walk from a main Metro station. Reception was always friendly but often painfully slow, with a lot of activities needing to be carried out in the back office rather than at the desk (such as reactivating a key). The lobby area is spacious, with snacks and drinks available to purchase, a coffee shop and bar / restaurant at the rear. In an evening the prices at the bar are rather steep but there’s a decent enough atmosphere for relaxing. My room was on the fifth floor and suffered with no noise, either from outside or the corridors, despite being right next to the lift. There were electric sockets next to both sides of the bed, including USB ports and the room was spacious enough. There wasn’t any air-conditioning and it was a shame that the tiny window only opened a crack, so with no fan provided it could get a little hot. The wardrobe area and all the storage was open to the room but the cushion on the window sill was a nice touch to sit on. The square pillows were a little odd. The bathroom was a lot smaller than the room but decent enough with a spacious shower. The provided towels were tiny, suitable really only as hand towels but at least there was a good number supplied. You have to leave a sign on the door before midday if you want housekeeping to visit. One of the best features of the hotel is the roof top bar, which in the summer is a perfect retreat. With good views over the canal below and rooftops of the city there’s a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. An interesting mix of seating including beanbags make it the ideal spot to relax in the sun at the end of a busy day. With reasonable value for money I’d consider here again and recommend for anyone not needing to be right in the heart of the action.

Easy to get to and from, really smart hotel with comfortable and well appointed rooms for a good price. Staff were brilliant - super helpful, and the attached restaurant is also great. Would happily stay again.

The hotel is very practically located, and the services are quite good. The breakfast, for example, is excellent. The room was extremely spacious, but had a light that could not be turned off (which I had to cover with towels in order to sleep), and had no rubber sealing beneath the shower doors, which meant that showering would flood the whole bathroom every time. Disappointing.

Great Casino and lovely ambience indoors. Its best to get membership first up, with more frequent visits, the membership card gets upgraded. One can bring along friends with complimentary drinks in the counter as well. The casino remains open till 3 in the night, perfect to enjoy gambling and games in Amsterdam. Must visit!!

This was wonderful vibe, walk from Holland Casino towards redlight district on the lot of shopping, food, coffee, canals, nice photo spots. You can get souvenirs. we parked car in Marriott hotel but remember that will be expensive parking. (you can get halal food on the way)

Great food and a nice experience overall. The casino itself is quiet big ans has for everyone something interesting to offer. Worth a visit.

Good casino a lot of different slots, electronic roulette and blackjack even for small bets. The table games are for bigger bets but worth it. Poker tables are good.

“Meh” experience. Cover charge of €5 was annoying. Taking my bag off was slightly bothersome but also expected. The most annoying thing was that I was wearing a tshirt with a zip up hoodie over top. It looked like a jacket, so they said I need to take it off and check it at the door. Other people went in with hoodies, so it just didn’t make sense to me. I complied, but they will have to comply with losing a star from me because of it. I think it’s a fair trade. They also took too much money from me, but they didn’t lose any stars from it.

Room was OK and clean and quite. Breakfast was good. Internet connection was poor, it should be much better on a quality chain hotel like yours. In addtion in the room was only one plug to charge your devises. You should have more and one by the bed.

very comfortable room - spotlessly clean. there was a comically huge TV, a nice walk-in shower with rituals toiletries, a nespresso machine, and the sofa pulled out into a bed also. the staff were also very helpful in accommodating us - an early check-in was possible at 11am (but this may not always be the case), when we requested an extra duvet it arrived in minutes. they also offer a free luggage storage option which was very helpful for when we had checked out but still had time in the city.

The one thing I loved about the place is that it is soo close to the metro, tram n train station.... Just a 5 min walk and we'll connected to all places. It is completely safe, I travelled solo and felt completely safe at the hotel. Used public transport to move around from the hotel which was cost effective n great too. Beautiful area, nice to just go for a walk. And very comfortable rooms.

This is one of the most spacious Novotel I have been at. My executive room was very clean, quiet and comfortable with a great view. The location is also practicle, it is not too far from the train and metro stations that can lead you to the city center. It is also not too far from the airport. The only downside is that the breakfast was not the best, and the service in the restaurant could be a little bit friendlier (a smile doesn't hurt). Besides that, it was a good stay.

Everything in the hotel was nice. The room was clean and spacious. The restaurant and bar was great. The staff were all friendly. The hotel's location is ideal and just a few meters away from the tram and metro...very accessible and easy to join the town center.

Perfect location. Room although a bit small was fine for the 2 of us. It was clean and considering the location of this hotel very quiet. Towels were changed daily and bathroom was also cleaned daily. Staff were friendly and informative when asked where things were. All in all great hotel.

Was expensive but worth the cost due to location. Staff were helpful with sorting out an accessible room. Overall good quality of said room. Cleaners were excellent and your janitor helped fix an issue with my wheelchair. Only issues were that the breakfast was a little disappointing as it wasn't as good as my previous stay. The selection was not as varied but was sufficient. Secondly, the thermometer in our room wasn't functioning correctly. We attempted to lower the temperature but it always returned to the standard heat. Luckily we could open the window during the day. Overall, a great stay, and I'm very thankful for the assistance I received. Will be back.

The downstairs lobby area with a coffee bar and work space is ideal for meetings, relaxing and does away with the often stuffy formal energy in most hotels. The decor is young and contemporary with key amenities at your disposal. The rooms are small especially the bathroom and lacks space for suitcases unfortunately. A small change of removing an irrelevant wooden divider by the hanging space would sort this out plus some hooks on the wall. Aside that, location superb, incredibly helpful staff and a good energy get my total thumbs up!

While I was overall satisfied with my stay, I did encounter an issue at check-in that I believe warrants your attention. Upon my arrival, I was met with a lengthy queue at the main desk. I was surprised to find that there was no priority lane for IBIS members or guests who had checked in online. After waiting for a considerable amount of time, I approached a staff member and inquired about the lack of priority lanes. The staff member informed me that they were unaware of any such priority lanes and directed me to wait in the general queue. Their attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, which further compounded my frustration. Fortunately, I was able to speak with another staff member who was more knowledgeable about the IBIS membership benefits and promptly prioritized my check-in. While I appreciate this individual's assistance, I am concerned about the overall lack of awareness among the staff regarding IBIS member privileges. I would like to suggest that you consider implementing a more visible and clearly marked priority lane for IBIS members and guests who have checked in online. Additionally, providing staff training on IBIS membership benefits would ensure that all guests receive the appropriate level of service. I hope that this feedback will be taken into consideration to improve the check-in experience for future guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Loved to be close to station and main walking streets in Amsterdam. Easy from Cruise ship stop and convenient to everything. Liked the opportunity for on site breakfast and after a long day drinks and snack in restaurant area. Helpful staff and clean facilities. Clean rooms and although small were sufficient for our stay.

Stayed on this site in our campervan in November 2023. Fabulous facilities and very clean. Staff were so helpful with information and explaining travel options. Well stocked shop. The restaurant was closed so can’t comment on this. Transport into city centre was so easy, 15 min walk to tram and then 10 mins on the tram to Central Station. Nice local area too with lots of cafes and restaurants and shops.

Colourful picturesque huts surrounded by greenery sitting right on a river bank. We absolutely loved our stay here. We cycled to Central Amsterdam every day, which took about 30 minutes (can be too far for some people but we really enjoyed the cycling). The room was quite plain but had everything you needed - storage space and two single beds. The staff were very friendly, although checkout was a little early (at 10 am). Breakfast was very delicious with a variety of options.

Spotless site! Plenty of showers, toilets, wash areas given the size of the site. Well maintained ground, great bar area, and shop was more than adequate. Fridges for campers were a great addition for us as we didn’t have a fridge in our van. Option of bike hire and purchasing public transport tickets from the shop was excellent! 12 minutes to the centre of Amsterdam!

Pros: Stayed here for 4 nights in one of the eco-cabins. Room and bathroom was very clean and well maintained. Location is also nice. Away from all of the commotion in center but close to it if you use public transportation. Cons: The mattresses were awful. Supper noise when you turn or move. Very stiff. Also they are not connected to the lower part of the bed, hence they move a lot. In such room the camping should put one whole instead of two separate ones.

An incredibly large, lively, busy place with awesome availability if showers and amenities. They obviously though of all they should have, as in summer, it’s so full. Not too noisy though, and a nice distance from the city, great to have a bike with you. Unfortunately the wifi didn’t work at all for us, too weak for any work.

Loved this place and their staff! They accommodated for a group of 13 of us and did a great job of it. The food was lovely and fresh and so quick. We got savoury pancakes to share and some sweet ones at the end, they were delicious. Advisable to book before you go as it can get really busy. Max was our waiter for the afternoon who was fantastic throughout. There was a lady who gave us our food who was a tad abrupt and basically threw our food plates at us and didn't apologise but Max service outweighed hers. Thank you to the teams and PB Amsterdam. It did not disappoint.

The Pancakes were pretty good. The prices are pretty typical for Amsterdam. What I did not really like was the crowded atmosphere. The space is limited so they try to pack as many as possible in to one place.

Never had a pancake like this before. We got two savory and two sweet pancakes and shared amongst 4 which was perfect. My favorite was the Chilean and Canadian savory pancakes— the way the meat is prepared into the pancake is a whole other level of pancake flavor. Super tasty, highly recommend! (The fresh orange juice was also lovely)

We ordered Dutch pancakes, it’s very sweet. We also ordered a savoury flavour called Mexican, which made by chicken, onion and mushroom. It’s a bit pricy than I expected. The venue was very dark. We waited for a while to be served. The restaurant is very busy.

Very tasty Dutch pancakes, we tried only the savoury ones, they were delicious. They matched great with selection of Belgian and Dutch beers which the restaurant offers. The place is located on the bank of one of the canals, in a very nice building, we were fortunate that the weather was good and we could find table outside.

Must must must visit for the amazing apple pie. The crumble is perfectly buttery, the apple pie chunks are generous. Don't hesitate to order it for to go and enjoy it on the nearby bench if you couldn't get the table. My first time visiting I could sit inside but the second visit the queue was too long (around 4 pm).

We came to try out the famous apple pie and discovered a great place for a small bite. The Apple Pie did not disappoint; it tasted fresh, well spiced and not too sweet. We also got the Crispy Salmon Sandwich which was equally as tasty! The restaurant was quite full when we got there so we had to find a place outside which ended up being a great choice! The staff were very friendly and despite being full, the service was fast enough. A wonderful stop to add onto your list of places to eat at in Amsterdam.

Apple pie with cream was delicious, recommend to order. Crispy salmon and Sandwiches with salami were good too. Mint tea was nice. Lots of seats, don’t be afraid for long queues, it move fast.

I would have given them an extra star in the apple Cake would have been served warm. But whether, it was delicious - not too sweet and not dry and the cream made it a delightful experience. The serving is big enough for two…. But for some it may be too difficult to share! Nice place … service is friendly and fast.

It is the most delicious apple pie 🥧 in Amsterdam 😋 🍏🍎. The cafe was busy and set on the bar 100% of customers paying the apple pie. It was served warm and request it with cream on side. The mix make it to the next level 🤤🤤🤤.

Another rainy day, but this Hard Rock was not a disappointment. We were seated immediately by friendly staff, moved to a window seat next to the canal, after a few minutes we had our drinks and ordered our food. I had ghe Messi burger with an egg, it was really tasty, the price wasn't too bad, around the 20 euro mark, but this filled me for the rest of the day. The rock music was playing all throughout and added to the great atmosphere. We went in to the shop and made a few purchases, the staff again were really friendly. Recommend a visit if you are in to rock music and enjoy your food

This was my first time at a Hard Rock Cafe and I absolutely loved it! The food was incredible and considering the huge portions of food it was all reasonably priced. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They were also able to cater to my intolerances (dairy, egg and gluten).

Food was excellent as always, service was very good, we arrived early so sat in the waiting area and were promptly taken to our table at the booking time. The table service was good enough. Apple Cobbler was huge, incredible and definitely to share!

It was really good! Rushed in just before boat trip when it started raining and this place was the best one we got this week! Very satisfied, food was delicious, nice music, nice atmosphere and really friendly staff. Got to talk with 2 waiters and they were amazing. In the end, if we come to amsterdam again, would totally come by for a nice time! Keep it up! Sadly, we don’t remember name of the waiter, she was really friendly! Thank you!

Portions are large. The servers are well organized and the location is superb. Right by the canals. You can even sit outside in the terrace and just watch the boats pass by. I used to think Hard Rock Café is overrated but they have some great and filling american style food. The steak salad was superb and I was happy with how the steak was prepared. Just the way I like it, medium well. It's also a good place to grab some drinks.
