Excellent restaurant. Wonderful squid ink pasta with very good squids. The grilled dorade was, I think, the best I've ever had. It's a bit on the pricey side but well worth the money. I highly recommend!

Excellent solution both for quick lunches with meat, pizza or pasta but also for a fish meal. The atmosphere on the terrace is great, everything is neat and very clean. There is a wide choice of dishes and the quality does not disappoint. First of all, we came to eat seafood delicacies, so we started with great canapes with cod, shrimp sauce ... Then we continued with the phenomenal buzara with Cozze and Vongole. The main part of the lunch was fritto misto (deep-fried of fish, prepared with shrimp, squid and mixed fish), grilled sea bass and excellent Capesante Gratinate (Scallop Gratin). With excellent white wine, everything was without complaints and very good. The food is well prepared, and very tasty, and plentiful. All price to the cheff. The waitress was very nice, courteous, knowledgeable and fairly fast, like all of the staff. To crown it all, the view of the sea and the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell'Angelo it was amazing. Fast service, excellent polite and smiling staff and the position invites us to visit this great restaurant again.

First of all I need to say that the Restaurant was full, we had our reservation... We have been 4 adults and 2 kids ... They served the food in a strange way ... First for adults and kid waited almost 30 minutes for 2 pizzas... The main dishes we didn't received and when we asked about it they said that they do not had space in kitchen and we need to wait for it ... The waiters also were really rude ... I can tell that Service : 4 Food : 4 Location : 6 I will not come back here ...

Really loved the vegan options! We came twice for dinner during our short vacation because it was the best vegan food you can find in Caorle. The best was definitely the pizza vegana with excellent rice mozzarella and the quinoa tartar starter. The vegan salad could be improved by adding some olives, capers perhaps to give it more flavor. Overall can only recommend for vegans. They of course also have a good fish, meat and vegetarian menu. Something for everyone.

Looks nice. Nice food, not great, and slow service despite many staff. Muscles were bland, the aglio olio pepperino was very chilli hot. 🐶 dog friendly 💳 cash or card accepted

It is not first time here. We come to Caorle every two or three years and this restaurant is always on our "must visit" list. In our opinion one of best restaurants in town at all. Very good meals. Everything tasty and fresh. Professional service with 5* as well. So we can recommend this restaurant to visit 👍👍

Was coming here over 20 years, will not go anymore. The last experience was extremely unpleasant, staff in hurry, very rude & arrogant, ignoring our requests, food quality went down a lot. Do yourself a favor and choose from plenty of very good restaurants in Caorle, where you’ll be treated nicely. Bravo Al Postiglione for losing the long term customer!

Food was both taste wise and presentation wise amazing. One of the waiters that served us even knew English pretty well, which was a pleasant surprise (usually the staff knows only Italian or just a bit of English). Staff also had no problem changing our food when there happened to be a confusion around what we ordered and accidentally got a wrong meal (they politely apologised and then brought the proper meal). Overall very nice experience and recommend going here.

Great restaurant We ate a pizza Formagiosa , which was really great and spicy and some fried calamari and srimps 🍤.

We went for lunch. It was pretty pricey for the quality. The food was ok. The staff were nice and attentive though. The decor of the place is a bit meh, and so the atmosphere is not that great. The lights outside look like dangling snot blobs that have come from someone's nose. With so many options in the vicinity, I could not help but think I should have gone somewhere else.

One of the ordered food not arrived. The penne pomodoro e basilico which we received was in fact Penne Arabbiata. The insalata mista was a very small portion. We had to ask 3 waiters to deliver the missing food which arrived 15 minutes after the others. They need to improve the service

Super cute restaurants in one of the alleys of Caorle. The service is great and so is the food. We happened to go there on one of the hottest evenings so couldn’t enjoy the ambience as much because we were sweating throughout dinner even though we were sitting outside. But still had a lovely time. Would highly recommend!!

The best restaurant i’ve been so far! (2x times) The food is out of this world and the ambience is really well decorated and the lighting is perfect. Sadly I can’t give a 5/5 at service because of two things. 1. the mens / woman’s toilet is very dirty and in such a high quality restaurant with such a beautiful ambiance it’s a shame. 2. If that were not enough, they serve coca cola in a can and they just hand it to you without opening it and putting the liquid into your glass. The same goes for wine and other drinks which unfortunately are not filled directly into the glass. The service is almost perfect and if those points are changed (toilets cleaned, liquid in the glass) then it would definitely be in the top 10 restaurants of Italy. (Coca Cola from glass bottles tastes better than from cans.) All in all i will recommend the restaurant to my instagram community because of the food, the friendly service and everything. Wow! What a nice and authentic place. The food is great and you have a selection of some good regional and french wines The restaurant is right in the heart of the center of the old town, in a side alley close to the beach area, unfortunately without view into it, though. If you want to take your partner out for a romantic dinner, this is the place to go ❤️ You need to reserve a table 1-2 days in advance! Don't bother if you didn't reserve 🤷🏽‍♂️

Very nice place in the historic center of Caorle. The service is impeccable. Everything is very good and the fish is fresh and of quality. Excellent pasta with “rovinassi.” In August, many places do not accept reservations to get as many customers as possible. Here, however, the reservation is allowed, and at the appointed time, you get your table. I appreciate it. They have average prices. It is always a pleasure to dine here.

We ordered an asorted grilled seafood and pasta with basil and cherry tomatoes. It was one of the best dinners I have ever had. Then we ate tiramisu and it was the best tiramisu I have ever eaten in my life. I highly recommend Trattoria Al Mare to anyone who wants to experience great Italian food :) Many thanks for the amazing dinner Trattoria Al Mare!

Pleasant local restaurant with friendly staff and great Italian food. We always come here when visiting Caorle.

Food was ok, portions for the 2 pasta we've ordered was quite different, you could see there was almost double in one plate and half on the other. An old lady waitress, that I thought was gonna look after us, took the menus away without saying anything and before ordering our food, quite rude and unprofessional. We got up to pay the bill and the lady at the counter didn't even checked if everything was ok. Not going back there.

The staff were familiar in behaviour and made me feel at home, they were very friendly and nice. The food was really good and well made. I ordered the lasagna and the pork filets and I enjoyed every single bite, but above all the sauce on the pork was delicious. I also tasted the calamari and it was really fresh and tasty. Quality to price is really good in my opinion.

We arrived back in Caorle late following a day trip to Venice, and was struggling to find a place open. We came into Taverna and whilst they'd stopped serving food, they then said they'd be able to do pizzas for us which was brilliant of them. Food was great, service was great, would certainly recommend

Unrortunatelly no air conditioning in the restaurant. They have also food without gluten (sensa glutine).

The gluten free pizza is prefab! When we asked to add something they refused. This place is a shame for an Italian pizzeria! The land of high intolerance of gluten.

We tried some food and beer with my friends. Everything was excellent and the price was correct.

During our stay in Italy we came here every morning to get the toast, it’s so delicious especially the toast with the pesto, they serve good drinks we loved it here! Sometimes the server is a little slow but nothing to major they are super friendly! We highly recommend this place!

beautiful top terrace, good cocktails, but!!!!!! you need to pay for your order at the bar and take it to the upper terrace yourself, be prepared that no one will come to ask if you want anything else, empty dishes will be with you until the end of the visit ... and the cherry on the cake: this is the lady manager who because of the pillows on the sofas moved by the children, made a scandal, when we tried to somehow smooth out this conflict situation, she insulted me and my children, saying that the children should be kept in a cage, this all lasted for 7 whole minutes, until we just Packed up and under her cries did not leave. Terrible place, disgusting service, terrible rude people. Question to the owner of this establishment, how can you hire such people?

Friendly staff; a bit on the slow side sometimes but nothing major. A nice choice of various oysters (My wife and I were divided which type we liked best). Had a juicy filet steak afterwards, as well as home-made pasta with mussels (vongole) and lobster (al astice) -- each dish perfectly well rounded and delicious. A bit on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. Definitely a 5/5 that I will visit again! :)

Nice place directly on the beach. Beautiful interior design and ambience. Pizza bread is super! Greek salad is okay, but all in all a bit expensive

Is the shrimp a fish? Well this visit was a second chance for the restaurant where we were not satisfied with the service in general. Like no Italian visitors we felt like third class guests. Today it was even worse. This is like Mixed grilled fish plate for 24€ looks like. Restaurant is clean, wine was good. But empty plate still on the table while 3 waiters is going by unnoticed… Not brining the bill and change 15 minutes after paying… In general that should not happened in restaurants with such prices and on the main street of a famous destination. Sorry that there’s nothing but great disappointment and feeling of pity every time we will passing by again. This was my last visit. Not recommend for no Italian visitors at all.

One of the best restaurant in Caorle. We celebrated here my father birthday and they suprised us with a funny pizza cake and the birthday song. Lovely experience!

Food was very good but they didn't bring all dishes together, we had to wait quite some time until the last of us got their food. The backroom where we were seated was very hot without ac or fan.

I think this is the best restaurant I've ever been in Caorle! 😍 The service was amazing! We went there with our 9 month old son, they were already prepared and had our table set ready for a baby. The staff was interacting very nicely with our baby and he enjoyed it. As we really liked their wine, we had to buy an other bottle to bring it home. And omg, the foooooood! 😱🤤 Everything was delicious and I had an amazing creative pasta in a parmesan basket. I had never had anything similar as that before and I was blown away We recommen to reserve a table as it is a very popular restaurant.
