Delicious cakes, also glutenfree. Pancakes in many varieties, both sweet and savory. Very nice service and calm atmosphere. I definitely recommend the place.

Great gathering spot, wether you want to pop in for a quick lunch, good dinner, or just an afternoon coffee or nighttime hangout with friends, this place does it all. Almost always full of people, great design and even staff, I always had a pleasant experience.

Nice bar to hang out at. All of the food except Mexican was good. Other than the burritos the Mexican food was slightly bland (we ordered quesidillas, nachos and the burrito) Was pleased to see they had a TV with a sports game.

Great stay during our Sales meeting.

Odd hotel. Apparently the best hotel close to Orava Castle. However... Things just aren't as they should be. Room is fine, sparse, small but fine TV claims to have 5 English language channels but several don't work or aren't what's advertised. There's a gym in the hotel but it's totally inadequate, treadmill lurches and it's only open during spa hours which are afternoon to evening. So much for morning workouts. Housekeeping is spotty. They will make your bed and empty garbage but that's about it. Noisy. You hear a lot from the hallway, walls are too thin and he can hear neighbors. But the spa is great and the restaurant is fine. Bowling bar is a bonus. Hits and misses.

Rooms are nice, big and well furnished. Restaurant is very good. Gym, swimming pool, spa, convention room and a lounge bar with biliards and bowling alley. Amazing! What else?

Nice clean hotel after recent reconstruction. Restaurant is also over average quality. Helpful and polite personnel. Only disadvantage are higher prices similar to hotels in european cities but little overpriced for particular region.

ok so the place looks nice, its design like traditiona mountain restaurant, even some nice lambs are there. Unfortunately food we had was average. We had zucchini cream soup which was a bit tasteless, potato pancake with pork stew and it was ok, actually pity we all didnt order it. We also had pasta with salmon and it was terrible - low quality salmon, dry and tasteless with all kind of veggies that really dont match together. Too oily as well. It was difficult to eat it. Stuff was very nice. There is big parking. Its possible to sit on the terrace with a dog.

A worthy visit for tourists and families with kids. . The good: - variety of traditional dishes - nice traditional starter - large portions - really professional and attentive staff/service - nice environment (especially the interior) - speak english, accept cards - children and pet friendly . The bad: - fish (trout) shall be in the offer only when fresh caught. Also its preparation wasnt perfect (the spicing was good though) - potatoes were soft and felt like either old or refrigerated - not much invention in regards of spicing or flavours.

A nice place to have… a burger, actually! The Orava burger is incredibly tasty - a bit like Ciganska, super nice, and the chips (actual chips, not fries) with it are very very indulgent. Tomato soup was also quite tasty, just the daily menu kung pao was very Slovak, unfortunately (not really a kung pao). The prices are ok, not overly high, not budget friendly either. Super happy with the value of the ‘hot raspberry & cinnamon’ which was sweet and warm and perfect for winter, being also a bit of dessert with the amount of raspberries inside ^_^ The interior looks oldschool and needs work, but for some dishes this place is definitely worth a visit. And yes, you can pay by card.

Tasty, huge pizzas for a fair price. No foreign language menu. Waiters friendly but could be more attentive.

Surly service. Had to flag someone down to get a second beer. When the power was cut, we understood that it wasn't their fault, but nobody bothered to light the candle on our table or even to visit and explain what's going on - and we were one of only two tables occupied.

The ratio between quality and price is acceptable. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Very nice place for pizzas and burgers. Had one of the best pulled pork burgers I've ever eaten, so highly recommend coming here for that! There's a car park right outside and they have menus in English too.

The best restaurant in Dolny Kubin. We were there for many times and always delicious meals and kind waitresses. And great beer of course! :)

Good burger from position 1. Great composition of ingredients and tasty meat. Okay fries, homemade sauce and salad. Great place overall, good service. The one thing that was a bit problematic was the fact that they do not accept payment cards and u have to withdraw money from nearby cash machine and the staff do not speak english.

For the higher price, food was great, even well-served and prepared. Restaurant has nicer interior (in building) with silent indoor enviroment (restaurant is in the middle of city roundabout). Service was really active and asked us couple of times if everything is okey with the food. 10/10

As we entered the restaurant we immediately recognised heavy cigarette smoke. We asked for the nonsmoker's area. The response was that food is only served in the smoker's area. That is unacceptable for us. We left hungry the restaurant.

The GOOD: - Superb service, caring owner, professional staff - Inspiring environment and wholesome traditional design - Cute animals - In venue restaurant - Great breakfasts, decent cofee - Spacious and clean rooms with forest view - Good and Cosy Beds - Good Wifi, speak English, accept Cards . The BAD: - lack of sockets - no Air Conditioning

Popular modern and clean rustic-style restaurant with accommodation. Children will like the gingerbread house and other imaginatively decorated chalets that can be booked. Spaces can be a bit tight though: we declined a cottage with a twin bedroom accessed through the master room (with the ensuite shared by all). Our double bed had only one night stand because the room was too narrow. Space was further restricted by stairs to a mezzanine with three single beds: best for families perhaps. Bathrooms are modern. Toiletries are limited. A broken shower was quickly repaired (no bath tub). The restaurant is fitted out in wood and decorated with local crafts. Breakfast included warm eggs and sausage, bread, cheeses and cordial. You might be lucky and get Danish pastries, but we had to go buy our own fruit. Lunch and dinner has local favourites and vegetarians have several options, if you like sheep's cheese. Unfortunately there's nothing for vegans. Limited beers on tap.
