The restaurant has a small menu, which you may think is nice, but reality is not so bright. The fish was okay, not dry (thank you), but not salty enough. The tastes within the dish were dull, a hint of acid could make everything more vivid, mushroom taste of porridge was weak. Fancy looking foam, which does not add to the taste. Overall it is okay, but not spectacular, the tartar was good though.

Visited for brunch and the food is very high quality. The portions are decent and the price is fair. It has a very nice atmosphere inside and outside. They have a variety of pastries and sweets, coffee with the option of lactose free milk or even plant-based. I don’t give 5 stars because the service could definitely improve.

The waiter(a man) was very impolite to us Asians. First, I was looking for people who joined Golden Girls Meetup in Promenade but failed, so I went inside and asked the waiter if he knew where the girls sat, he went to ask his colleague and murmured: “ Why do I have to know the golden girls?” which is very ridiculous. Then me and my friend wanted to have a drink with ourselves, that waiter asked us to sit at the last table which was very far and messy, leaves on the table so we decided to sit at a different table. Waited long but no one comes to give the sink menu, then I see that same waiter standing over there and did nothing, so I waved and smiled and said “ Hallo bitte” , but he responded with “ Was???!!!” and neglected me!!!!! When we went to pay, the waitress in this cafeteria asked us for tip.

Lovely upscale cafe on the edge of the city park. We had a couple of coffees (an oat milk iced latte and a cold brew latte) which were excellent. But even more impressive were the cakes - a classic apple strudel and some vegan chocolate pudding. Both excellent!

Delicious, but the meat was a bit dry (also price is quite high). Dumplings with spinach and cheese were amazing!

The restaurant is open and very clean (at least when I was there) - the food was prepared freshly and well done. Additionally there are also charging stations for an e-car.

I was having a lunch and than after a coffee, and most likely exceeded their limit, this was realy nice treatment from mcdonalds. They lost one customer and i will tell everywhere how they are treating people and that other people have to be very carefull!

Nice as far as Mcdonalds go. Quiet, no queues and can find a clean table to eat at.

The foods we tried were incredibly delicious. I loved the pumpkin pickle that they serves with dumplings. The staffs are very kind and they make time for clients who don’t speak German to describe the menu and foods.

Food was quite nice, particularly the root vegetable soup? Not sure what it was called but it was peppery and tasty. Service was very swift and fuss free.

Great ambience, very nice place for drinks and snacks. Downstairs is the party floor, which is quite good for events. Staff is very friendly. The people are very open minded. Overall a cool local bar 🍸 which serves good food as well. I was there for a party and had a lot of fun.

October 2021 Pleasant Brunch: good food, good music, good mood. I’ve been to the Scherbenkeller many times when going out and was delighted when having brunch upstairs the other day. Staff was friendly, the food was incredibly tasty and although it was a Holiday Weekend the atmosphere was relaxed and stress-free. As I have food allergies/intolerances I take a look at the menu online to check whether my requirements can be accommodated for. I do so especially when I am out with other people to avoid (possible) unpleasant situations. No allergens were listed online and unfortunately I didn’t have time to make a call ahead so I decided to go anyway, as in regard to the items on the menu there would be a few options I would be able to eat anyway. I was really happy when the waitress offered me a gluten free and a vegan menu that would both suit my needs. She also pointed out that cross-contamination is still possible as kitchen space is very small, but she did so in a polite and understanding way. I was pleasantly surprised by the naturalness and enablement of a meal to be enjoyed regardless of requirements and needs. Besides that, the waitress was swift, friendly and alert. The food was made to order using fresh and flavoursome ingredients. Texture and spices were well balanced and portion size generous. It was presented appealingly and in reasonable time. Note to allergy sufferers: The allergen menu declared that food is prepared in a non-allergen-free kitchen space, however, I have not experienced side effects afterwards. I have been very early in the morning as the place was not yet very busy, so it might be different during peak times. The range of the week day breakfast menu is small but covers a broad variety of cuisines as well as some ‘classics’, so anyone should be able to find something to meet their taste. The weekend/Band Holiday menu offers additional items. I deduct 1 point as I’d appreciate finding an allergen menu online. Also, the acoustics of the room are not favourable. The place filled up quite quickly and talking/listening to my accompaniment became somewhat strenuous. Some decorative noise absorbers might help to mediate the sound level. Nonetheless I will come back for sure to try some of the weekend specials as well as some weekday alternatives. I’ve had a very pleasant stay and I am looking forward to repeating it.

This was The Experience. What a great surprise! The staff was friendly, the waitresses were very polite. Food came rather soon and fresh no matter the bar was loaded. Music is totally acceptable. The only thing that made me sad was the restroom, regardless of that (for now) won't change my score of 5 ⭐.

Excellent service and excellent atmosphere. A bit disappointed with my burger (dry and not spiced at all), but fries and dips were ok. Also, it would be nice if there was a bigger selection of drinks (beer, wine)

Really cool "basic hard rock coffee" atmosphere, kind staff and the pulled pork burger was very delicious. I highly recommend the premium burger selection, it worth that price.

Food is very good, and the bar is perfect to meet people, but it's also very loud and it has still a smoking area.

Great staff, the bar was kinda empty but it was a Thursday night around 10PM. Good selection of beer, the staff is knowledgeable of the bar's menu. Rox is located within walking distance to one of the city squares which are connected with tram lines.

We went to the coffee shop for breakfast and were happily served by the smiling lady who has been very helpful understanding my requests in English. Breakfast consisted of turkish coffee, cappuccino, orange juice, slice of cake and another tea in the end (which is not in the photo). Everything was delicious, perhaps more costly than I expected. The environment is like old-fashioned cafe, no too fancy but decently stylish.

Very luxury, food amazing, delicous options for vegans/people with allergies. We stood there with pour kids (2yrs, 5 yrs). Was a bit special because it‘s not a family hotel, but stuff was very friendly and we didn‘t have the feeling kids aren‘t welcome. The room was great - only minus, the were no blinds or curtains so it was quite bright at night. As it was holidays our kids went only to bed around half past 9 - still it was too bright for them to fall asleep easily.

I stay in this hotel every time I'm in the city for business, which is very frequent. It feels like at home and with a good value for money. Rooms are generally good, some are great. The breakfast is also very varied and good. The only opportunity for improvement is to remove one of the treadmills from the gym and replace it with a decent squat rack. I'm a sport lover so I'm probably biased but hey! this is where Arnold Schwarzenegger was born so gyms have to stand behind that name!

Business trip to Graz. Great central location next to the Mur river. Booked economy room wich is small with very small bathroom but clean. Could hear other room their tv. Staff is polite and speaks fluent English. Breakfast is classic for 25eur. Well equipped meeting rooms.

Omg have the schnitzel it's amazing . In fact come here for the schnitzel, it's the best we have had in our travels. The other food was also just as good but schnitzel is what you want in Austria right?? So get the schnitzel. Good beer even if only one choice.

Double standart for customers! We asked for a bread and butter as they bring for the next table, they bring the butter for the other table in a normal plate and with nice bread over and over and they bring us on packed butter with slice of bread. It was obvious that they have more of this nice bread but they choose not to bring for us even though we asked for it.

I felt myself like a real princess! Our rooms was just something! We had beautiful paintings there, nice beds, mirrors, beautiful pottery and curtains! Near our home was a magic park and a forest. I enjoyed every second in this hotel!

Location is great and from outside it looks like a perfect Italian place, but it has some drawbacks. Their ventilation is too weak and immediately as you enter you can smell grease/fat in the air, also see it since it gets a bit foggy. We had pizza and lasagne for dinner. Pizza was ok, but lasagne were a bit dry, there was pieces of meat on the side that were really too dry to eat. And portion was too small. We also tried wine, but it was not the best. All in all, I expected more from this place.

A nice place! The service was quite fast, the food was tasty. Carbonara looked a bit small, but the pizzas were large. We paid 63 Euro for a lunch of 4 people with only one drink. I loved everything about this place, starting from the delicious food that was served in such a presentable and pretty way, not to forget that the timing was perfect too, we didn’t have to wait at all. The restaurant also gave me very chill and cozy vibes, a really family friendly and a place I would definitely want to visit again.

The waiters were nice, the food average. The drinks nothing special. Worth the visit though, it was warm inside and nice atmosphere.

Of all the places in the city, this is the worst. First thing that catches my eye is McCafé - the staff are terrible... today we waited 30 minutes for coffee, in the end they just mixed up all the orders and gave out the wrong one. Plus a tactless female employee who doesn't understand German or English.....

As a foreigner it was amazing to go there though I did have some issues cause I didn't get a recipe at the kiosk and had to go through the hell of communication but it was fine altogether

Absolutely disgusting! It wouldn’t surprise me if everyone who ate here tonight got food poisoning. The kitchen was filthy, the staff did not have on McD‘s uniform but their own, which were stained and sweaty. Gross 🤮 The touch screens were not working, and after trying several and we found one that worked, it would not process the payment so that had to be done at the kiosk till. When the food arrived, the fries were cold and this was reported to the staff member serving. After a discussion with the shift manager as to how it is possible to have cold “fresh fries”, a new portion was served.

Really nice daily salad, and the schnitzel with pumpkin seed was quite good. The highlight for me, however, was definitely the beer. Too bad I didn't get to try all of the ones brewed there. The restaurant is also great for waiting until the Glockenspiel plays.

We had a fairly sizeable group that they were able to seat immediately. The servers were attentive, and the food came promptly. The food was all quite tasty. All in all I would recommend Glöckl Bräu.

A nice traditional restaurant close to the center of Graz. We tried Backfleisch, Goulasch and Hausbier, we liked all of it. We found a seat but we shared a big table with another little group, so it may be better to make a reservation.
