A hidden gem in Lido, where also the locals go, which is always a good sign. Couldn't be happier about the mixed seafood plate and the dolce. Love my spaghetti con vongole without tomatoes, so: happy wife, happy life 😊

Wonderful food for the price you pay. A lot of locals attend this place, which is also a sign of good food. Great atmosphere. Welcoming waiters. Could use some anti-moscito lights and better cutlery, but those are minor things that do not spoil your impression.

Came for a quick lunch. Food was simply prepared and price was reasonable. Had the cod with potatoes and pasta ragu.

Excellent food. We ordered fries and fried mozzarella for starter and their Marco Calzone to share as main course. Everything was delicious and the calzone was full of fillings. Service was great. However, we wanted the banana and Nutella pizza and the waiter said he needed to check if they had bananas left. He didn’t come back to say they didn’t have any so we assumed they had them in stock. At the end they brought out a pear and whipped cream pizza and said they had no bananas left. We didn’t eat it as that’s not what we wanted and they were okay about it and didn’t charge us.

Lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Good pizza, friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices.

We came to Lido to spend one day out of Venice. We found La Tavernetta by chance. The food was delicious not too large portions perfect for lunch. The tiramisu was just pleasing. The service was very friendly.

Do not eat here. If you’re planning on eating here it’s probably because it’s near your hotel and you don’t fancy the boat ride back to St Marc’s. Having had the misfortune of eating at this establishment I can honestly say I’d rather swim back to st Marc’s and find a better alternative (Burger King would be better). The restaurant stank of wet dog and the food was horrific. Service was haphazard at best and it wasn’t cheap at 100euro for two with no wine. I paid 160 euro for lunch at Al Covo and was happy to pay it, at this place I felt I’d been robbed. Awful awful awful. Avoid. The website and images make it look fancy the reality is anything but. It’s a tourist trap and a bad one at that.

Completely disappointed. Been here in 2013, this place was like heaven. Seems that the former owner Ottavio moved on, it's sad to see what this place has become. Sub par atmosphere, sub par food, sub par service. Avoid.

Extremely bad service as the waiter threw a fit (muttering something about too many requestsa) when we asked for plates (for dipping the bread in oil) after they brought the olive oil and tap water upon request. Beef was overdone (were given another plate after informing them) and the pasta cooked simply like it could be done yourself at home. Outdoor seating was infested with mosquitoes. One of the worst places you could patronise!!

My girlfriend and I went there last week when we visited the lido. We didn't know what to expect but not a restaurant that amazing. The food was amazing, the wine was incredible and the prices were high but fair. The service was exceptionally good and everyone visiting the lido should go there for an amazing night out. Delicious fresh fish (orata) from the grill and a generous fresh garden salad. Friendly owners. The pizzas on the table next to me looked very good too.

If you are looking place with local atmospehe, come here. Long list of pizza, selection of pasta, availiable is fish and meat also. Enjoying italian taste. Do not worry to come. Owners are very friendly.

After suffering 2 days in Rome with not so good pasta and pizzas, this was soul satisfying food for us. We did not have a reservation but the waiter was very kind to squeeze us a slot for an hour and a half. The food was amazing, perfect taste and spice. Aglio Olio was the best thing here! Pizzas are also worth a try! Tiramisu I believe was not made in house but still edible! :)

We started out with a small languished barrier, but made it through! I'm glad we did because the pizza was fantastic! For dessert we had Nonas cake and tiramisu. Definitely recommend #motheroftravel

Mainly a takeaway pizza place. No pasta nor any deserts. Good selection of vegetarian options at very affordable price. And the person serving me was friendly and spoke a bit of English. The grilled veg pizza was very good. Personally a fan of grilled eggplant and it was done very well!

The best pizza in Venice🌟! We tried a lot, in Rome, Florence, etc…The best one is in Lido, absolutely 💯 Huge assortment, perfect service take away (its important you not to wait restaurant service). Pizza is pretty scarce in Venice on the whole. There’s restrictions on wood-firing as it’s not safe on the islands. That said, we’ve come to Punto Pizza Da Maury for multiple years now for the biennale and it’s always able to provide high quality, low price pizza. A must-eat quick snack between films, especially when you’re on a budget.

Got only cheap pizza at Lido. The pizzas were OK and quickly done.

Lovely and cozy. Real nice atmosphere, great food and mostly local food. However, the missing english version of the menu chart is both nervewrecking and thrilling (the staff gladly helping you understand ) Im sure, ill visit this place once again

Great restaurant with good service. The margherita my daughter had was delicious. Just the right amount of tomato and basil. The nduja pizza is phenomenal, a slight spiciness which harmonizes well with the burrata pugliese.

Very nice staff, delicious Pizza and Pasta, nice red wine of the house. Loved the Tiramisu! Can be very crowded or a bit understaffed so you have to wait a bit longer for your food. But this is no reason to not go there again.

Took us 30 min to get the menus and 1:15 hours to get the food. The dishes we wanted were not available. The food, once it arrived, had waited at least 10 min before being served. The food was ok but not great. No apologies for the service.

Fantastic hotel overall. Beautiful waterfront location with a short water taxi or ferry ride to Venice. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the outdoor bar after hours. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Venice.

This hotel had complimentary breakfast which was a great plus, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was not perfect with what we ended up doing, but it is within walking distance to the ferry!

A lovely hotel, on a nice quiet island with lots of restaurants nearby. Just a 10-15 minute walk or short bus ride from the boat stop, and just a short boat ride from San Marco. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all the toiletries you will need and plenty of storage. I had a lagoon view room which was just lovely, you can see the campanile and basilica across the lagoon. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast has a good selection. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Very beautiful location for a romantic dinner with Adria view 😍 The gnocchi serving was very generous and good to share for two people. Also, the fried seafood plate reminded me of salt'n-pepper-kalamari back in Sydney. Must be as wonderful during daylight as in the evening.

Very nice restaurant. Nice space, opportunity to eat inside or outside. Good prices. Reccomend to eat outside with sea view 💙 Fond delicious, Pizza is actually pizza pocket fullfilled with whatever you want, I had ham and mozzarella with bolognese sauce. My boyfriend had gnocchi and pesto, as dessert tiramisu and coffee. Dukly recommended!

It's the little things, when one first enters a restaurant, that can make it or break it. Being greeted by a smiling, very welcoming face, is key. Not only were we greeted in such a way, but within a minute or two of sitting down, the proprietor noticed our table was a bit wobbly and came over with a wedge to fix it. Add to this the atmosphere. This is an outdoor restaurant but because of the weather, they had put up canvas sidings. The effect was being in a large tent that was breathing with the wind. Add to the mix some good soft music that went along with the crashing of the waves on the beach. The food was also fantastic - good portions and wonderful flavors. Make no mistake - this isn't fine dining, this is FUN dining. If you want waiters dressed in tuxedos at your elbow, it won't be happening here. Instead you have great people, great food and a great atmosphere. All in all, it was a delightful way to spend a blustery evening and a fitting last dinner for our visit to Venice and Lido.

We stopped by while walking the beach. It is off the main path but it is something easy to get to. The server was super nice and the service was quick. (I've selected a higher range for pricing because my boyfriend and I ordered a bottle of wine each.) We ordered Mussels & Clams, Scallop Au Gratin, Grilled Squid and Grilled Sea Bass. For two people, it was way too much... But we had a great time. People from the beach stopped by to grab drinks, dry off, and grab snacks. Good place to be for easy food and good people.

It was an amazing experience. Delicious seafood risotto, grilled orata fish with grilled vegetables and amazing ragu spaghetti. Lovely meal in magic place and great view. Run by a family. Must go for everyone who visit Lido di Venezia.

Just happened to be walking along the Lido beach and admiring the view. Came upon this beachbar/restaurant. Service was very friendly and welcoming. We just wanted a beverage but ended up having an appetizing antipasto of fried calamari and a beer...with a great view. Loved it and will do it again.

The foods are good. Especially the mix fish grill and Fettuccini.

Wonderful location with views over the Murazzi. The food was very ordinary however and the bill inflated the prices on the menu. Maybe a drink stop no more and check the bill.

We stayed here for a week in September. From the moment we had pre-arrival contact, through to the welcome, the room, the pool, the service, the breakfast, the location - everything was perfect. The staff are universally helpful and friendly. It has a calm, friendly and informal (yet classy) environment. A beautiful experience.

Charming hotel that is centrally located. It is a four-minute walk from the park after-busses. Everything was newly renovated so I had the ability to crank the heat up: it was cold and rainy during my stay in Lido. Best of all, there were outlets everywhere to charge devices and to use your electronics.

Great hotel! The room was clean, quiet and air conditioned. All the employees are kind, and I always feel relieved when I come back here. The restaurant is especially nice. I didn't know his name, but the waiter with glasses was very friendly and noticed everything right away. The food was also very delicious. The roasted quail was really delicious. For the first time since I came to Italy for a trip, I thought that I could meet Italy and Italian restaurants that I had envisioned in advance.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!! We had lunch at this restaurant today and the pizzas were nothing but only flour. The worst thing is that for two pizzas, one portion of mussels, 1L natural water we were asked to pay 68.50€. It turned out that the waiter added two further dishes onto our invoice, Spaghi Carbonar and Quattro Formagg and one more “Cuberto” (We were only 3 persons). The waiter thought we were foreign tourists so we couldn’t understand Italien. However, I checked every detail on the invoice and wanted to correct the wrong items. The waiter was impatient till I said I would call the police. It was definitely a FRAUD. Shame on you.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! All the bad reviews are correct, it’s a shame. This restaurant is disgusting, everything is dirty. Service fee 2 euro, even for children. What service??? The fact that I need to see all the dirt and the toilets…..

The restaurant serves nice food. The tagiattelle was especially delicious. The staff was very sweet. The tune salas was large and after spicing it with salt pepper and olive oil, it was testy, though I was disappointed to get only iceberg salad and not mix of salads. The decor of the restaurant is a bit old and the tv woth a soap opera was quite loud

This is not a 5 star restaurant. However, it gave me a food satisfaction worth 8 stars. The tomato and basil pasta was amazing. I asked them to bring fresh basil to flavor it, and it was amazing . ... loved it. Thank you

Horrible food by Italian standards. The marinara tasted like it was straight out of a can, and the meat and cheese used in the pizza was obviously not fresh. It would have been good for a frozen Lidl pizza that cost €2, but not for a full price meal in the very homeland of pizza itself. Avoid!
