Everything was below average... Orange and apple juice were watery and tasteless. Hot chocolate very light. Apple pie and chocolate cake were simple and nothing notable. Prices were ok, except from water... 0,75ml €7,20.. The view was spectacular!

Nice location of restaurant, however not all tables have a city view. There is a designated smoking area with a sensor lights which provides very unpleasant experience (gives the feeling like you are under examination and not in a cosy restaurant) Food service was bad. We received our meal one hour after ordering. We had a two drinks and bread basket in meanwhile and when our food arrived we were already over hungry. Meal was nice but was not worthy of waiting. I would not recommend going there especially if you are hungry, maybe just for experience for having something different ( but go with a full stomach 😅)

Amazing food, but the staff was rather impolite. Upon me complaining, the owner came and was impolite as well. Apparently we weren‘t supposed to have drinks and coffee but proper lunch at the table. They could‘ve told us politely. That wasn‘t the case.

Since years a fantastic restaurant to go to! They serve traditional austrian cuisine on a high level. Highly recommended as well to visit for tourists as the restaurant has a fantastic view of Linz and the surrounding. It is often used as an event location for weddings etc.

It was bit of a sad story. Such a highly rated restaurant and the kitchen staff seems to have been just woken up from their winter sleep. Very good ingredients but: venison rather well done than medium (still taste good), basis of sauce clearly burnt (such bitterness can't be by design), vegetables much too raw, red cabage much too cinnamony. Last (but really first) but not least, you can't dish out an expensive bouillon without having added some salt. A shame because everything showed that the kitchen knows all their techniques. I personally wouldn't take the risk to be disapponited again after a not-so-cheap dining experience.

Truly an unforgettable experience there. Probably the nicest atmosphere to an eatery and the food was affordable and delicious! Tried the spinach cheese dumplings and I'm still dreaming of it till today. Really good, will come back!

Great experience at the traditional place, with very nice and professional service. I very recommend to try exactly here the Austrian cousin. The waitress was speaking English and attended us in a very nice manner, helped to translate a menu and make a choice, also offering what else they can cook for is today. That was marvelous service. The beer was also very good. Overall experience was much better for me than in Vienna. There was so many families and groups of people, having chats, relaxing. It was a good sign of a good guest house and restaurant place.

Out of the way but definitely worth it!!

Very nice traditional austrian gasthaus, with fast and polite service. Garlic soup is amazing, and other dishes like sausages, roastbeef and dumplings are awesome. Prices are reasonable. If you are around Linz, you have to try it👍🏼🍺

Went there to meet some friends. The food was delicious, and the service was spot on.

I stopped at the McDonald's in Austria and was very satisfied with my visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. The service was also quick and efficient. I appreciated that the hygiene measures were also very well implemented. I would definitely come back in the future. I recommend this McDonald's to anyone traveling in Austria and looking for fast and good food.

Nobody speaks english! They served me whatever they wanted instead of what I asked for. And one of the happy meals had a missing burguer..👌

it's closed/ under reconstruction, but there is not info on google maps. We went there to use drive through and found a reconstruction message only. Unfortunately few cars behind us had a bad luck too :/

This place gets a big yes from me. I didn't expect it to be as good when I decided to make a reservation, especially since I'm not at all passionate about eating this type of food. But how can you not like it? Especially the dips are amazing. A medium portion was almost too big for us. The service was very attentive. Our waiter really attended to us and double asked at the end if everyone was happy. Also, big like for the boutique.

4.5/5. The ribs were cooked perfectly. I liked the beer and the garden outside with a private area so no one passes by. The option for 2 people (€68) is rather an option for 3. We tried to eat everything but failed. That burger is rather a normal size or a little smaller. Nevertheless I found the burger to be one of the best parts with well/balanced meat to coleslaw proportions. Our sides were mixed up but it happens. I did not like the bbq sauce but cheddar sauce was great. Toilets are available on the middle floor.

Fancy ribs! Very nice. Just avoid the bbq sauce. Tastes like toothpaste. Really.

I enjoy the food so much, the best spare ribs i ever taste. The drinks can quenched your thirst. Over all will come back again🫶🫶🫶

Beautiful presentation, wonderful staff and inexpressive food. Probably "baby ribs" taste better... Don't think I'll be back again.

If you like Italian food and need a quick bite at reasonably price, this place is perfect for you！ You will be given a card to register all your purchases throughout the different cook stations. The pasta or pizzas you order will be cooked in front of you. The stndard is very good, plenty of seating too. It's a wonderful place to chill alone, or with friends, away from the rain or snow.

It's like a regular fast food place but with Italian dishes. The price is ok and it's well located in Linz. I still don't like their tables, I find them super nice for the looks, but not the best option to dine in.

If you want to eat homemade pasta or fresh salads, Vapiano is the right place. The food is prepared in front of you and the taste and smell is amazing. 🍝

The food is tasty, as everywhere in Vapiano. Some very interesting options, like proshuto salad or sweet pizza rolls were new for us. But at the same time desserts were extremely untasty. The second floor was closed at the beginning (6 p.m.) but when it became crazy overcrowded on the ground floor, they finally opened it. Why not to open it earlier on Saturday evening- a kind of mistery for me

Different than other places, the service is good, but the covid control is really missed up, they ask me for my vaccination certificate at the order pick up, I can't imagine what if I didn't have my certificate at that point, won't they give me the order!!

The pizza was pretty bad: way too much tomato and cheese, I could not even eat half of it! Did not taste like an Italian pizza at all… My daughter ordered a gluten-free pasta dish, but accidentally got “normal” pasta. Luckily we double checked and eventually she got a gluten-free dish (after waiting 15 more minutes, where she had to sit and wait, watching us eat…). I would not go back and would not recommend others to go here.

The pizzas seem acceptable to a certain extent, but one can only advise against the overpriced salads. There are clearly better pizzarieas in Linz and here you seem to pay mainly for the central location.

Losteria is best place to enjoy Authentic Italian cuisine where there lots of choice of pizza and pasta which is really nice . Restaurant is located center of linz which is easy yo access by tram or bus .indoor and out door seating options.

The service is lacking purely because it feels understaffed and/or the servers have not trained fully. The language barrier with being English was also an issue. Once we managed to speak to an English speaking waiter, he was very helpful.

A single potato! And the owner tries to remove reviews. If you want a sports bar it's nice for that. They have many screens and the beer is ~5€. I would avoid it for dinner; they ration your potatoes like they're truffles, despite prices. They trick you into buying bread, if you order a meal, they drop (a tiny piece!) of bread on the table without a word and if you touch it, you pay. The waiters were nice and I don't blame them for anything but I wouldn't go back

TL;DR: Good Food; Expensive; NIce Location; Bad Service The restaurant looks really nice! I really enjoyed it. The food tasted very good. Sadly the service was bad. At a location looking like this and prices so expensive, a customer should be satisfied, but the service was so bad, no one in our group of 12 people liked it. They forgot to serve drinks we ordered and even after complaining multiple times they still did not manage to serve the missing drinks. They put plates we didn't order on our table and before we even could tell that we didn't ordered this they already left the table. After we had the chance to complain, they took them an brought them to the table they initially belonged to (hygienic standards?) After we all finished eating and we all had a nice chat, half of our group decided to leave and go to sleep. And since our Employer (it was on a business trip) was one of those people: he payed the bill for everything consumed till now. After that, the rest of us, ~6 people where like ghosts to the waitresses. We really would have liked to stayed for more drinks, but they ignored us so decided to go.

Delicious, freshly prepared dishes with great staff. We love the new interpretation of classic dishes with just the right amount of culinary creativity. It was spot-on and highly recommendable.
