I chose to celebrate my wedding day at Villa Riis on June 20th, I didn't initially know the place but I can consider myself more than satisfied, it was a pleasant discovery. The place is very suggestive and panoramic and you can see all of Monreale with a view of the illuminated Duomo. The villa is modern and very beautiful and also the internal room. I decided to have the buffet by the pool and dinner inside and everything was perfect, from the welcome at the villa, to the kind and helpful staff and the impeccable service. The food was exquisite, from the starters to the desserts. I would repeat that day 1000 more times. I received compliments from all my guests and therefore I recommend Villa Riis to everyone.

I recently went to a wedding and I have to compliment the organization, the dishes, the kindness of the staff and the spectacular wedding cake table. Really good. Nice location. I recommend it to anyone who has to celebrate a ceremony. You won't regret it. Rating 10 Obviously the photos of the dishes are only part of what I got at the buffet. I didn't have time to photograph the dishes... Too much food and it was all good. 😉

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Villa Riis on July 28th of this year, planned for a long time but postponed twice due to Covid. The wedding ceremony was held on site, among the beautiful decorations and the beauty of the villa itself, with many green spots that further enlivened the most exciting moments. The attentive and scrupulous staff was patient, kind and available for every request and whim both in the organization and during the event. The guests did not stop complimenting us on the goodness and abundance of the food, the beauty of the location and the air of intimacy that we experienced. The additional decorations were a pleasant surprise, perfect for the tableau and the material that I brought. What can I say?? definitely one of the best services on the square. Magnificent buffet!!!

I organized my daughter's graduation party there, the place is simple and modern, with a beautiful outdoor garden with lawn and swimming pool, which never hurts. It has ample parking with easy access to the area. The food was excellent with a very polite and professional attitude. Everything was well organized in time and manner. We will definitely return

I happened to go there for a graduation party. Wonderful place: large indoor and outdoor spaces, swimming pool and view of Monreale. Spaces well used, all very well organised. The service was impeccable and the staff were friendly and pleasant. The food was delicious: from pasta with swordfish to desserts, only positive notes. Highly recommended, especially for parties and receptions.

Every little thing about this restaurant was fantastic. The best food we had so far in Sicily. The ravioli, spaghetti & truffle pasta were also very delicious. They've got great options for vegetarians. We also loved their cake in dessert. The vibe was amazing with Michael Buble playing in the background. The service was very polite and they made sure to give us a warm experience. The food is also adequately priced, nothing expensive for the quality they're providing. Eating here is an experience.

On our way to visit the Cathedral in Monreale, we stumbled into this gem of a restaurant. La Botte will celebrate its 60th birthday next year and it has always been run by the Cascino family - a mark of quality and a renowned name within the industry. We choose one of the tasting menus and we embarked on a journey of sensational flavours - four courses meticulously presented which accomplished in delighting our taste buds. The service was very attentive and the whole experience was extremely pleasant. We will definitely be back again.

We were with some colleagues from Villa Sofia and our wives in this historic restaurant, a memory of our youth, where we ate divinely well. The first courses were delicious, I had the gnocchi alla bava made with sweet cheeses blended very well, my wife also ate a good first course, tagliatelle with ragù of an indescribable flavor as good as it was. The second courses were all delicious, I had some very good lamb chops with exquisite baked chips. The staff was very professional and kind. In particular, Mr. Roberto, very kind, gave us good advice on both the first and second courses and recommended a good wine, the Syrah from the Sallier de La Tour estate. We finished by eating the almond semifreddo with hot chocolate, invented many years ago by the patriarch of Chef Cascino Salvatore. We will be back with great pleasure.

I don't think I'll return to this restaurant, after a wedding where I was disappointed by the food because it was of poor quality and the portions were very small. While waiting for the bride and groom in the heat of these days, they didn't even serve us water. The welcome cocktail was poor in quantity and quality even for celiacs. The first courses and the second course were small portions. The disabled bathroom was used as a closet that they had to clear before a disabled person could use it, so there was zero hygiene. Only the waiting staff deserves my praise.

Regular pizza, while many other restaurants in Italy are renewing their recipes. The outdoor terrace of the restaurant overlooks the valley and towards Palermo with an excellent panorama. Service is quite fast even with many customers, parking near the restaurant and higher prices if you order a first/second course. Difficult to make an electronic invoice.

Birthday party. We ordered some pizzas, which weren't the best. The dough is a little hard. I have to appreciate the service, in few places the dishes arrive at the same time. In my opinion the entire place needs to be modernized, especially the toilets.

If you want steak, come to this restaurant! You will not be disappointed. Everything was terrific and the waiters were very helpful in picking out items and wine. We enjoyed every bite. The desserts were excellent too. There were 6 of us and we got several items to try and we each tasted everything.

Great restaurant! I had the Prussian Manzetta on a sizzling salt board, amazing taste, super flavorful. Their Tartare interpretation was quite interesting. Dessert was also really good. Full meal (with glass of wine, coffee, aperitif, etc), will set you close to € 70 per person.

An opulent experience throughout. The steaks were expensive but massive and delicious, and the starters, especially the pork innards, were phenomenal. Go for the fries rather than the roasted potatoes 😉

Spontaneously stopped off there because the cathedral was not yet open to visitors. Excellent red wine at a very fair price. And we were treated very kindly, even though we were only there for drinks. Fabulous wine selection. Great wine advice. See you very soon !

We had a voucher from the parking lot. They were very unfriendly there... we could choose some food very quickly and it came also quite fast but the cheese was missing but they all disapeared... I had to go inside to adk for cheese. My food was described as wallnut/basil pesto... it was basil pesto with some wallnuts over it... not what I expected... Then as we wanted to pay. All the waiters were at lunch. No one would move fore a haf hour so we could pay and leave... never go there again. Food was ok, prices are ok.

I was for over 30 years an international Chef. What I can honestly tell you is that this is one of the finest small family run restaurants I have ever been to eat and I have visited many countries and many places. I would say that the menu is not an extensive one but together with their daily specials offer plenty of choice. The restaurant was well appointed, clean and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Try the Zuppa de Cozza and the Spaghetti with clams also the house Red or White wines. Delicious. I absolutely no hesitancy in recommending you this eatery. It is just a few minutes walk from the imposing and delightful Cathedral.

Service was indifferent to put it mildly. Lots of tourists so there’s no shortage of customers. Pizzas were good but the tables are on a slope which makes it hard to balance drinks.

Prime location but very poor service. Food is good but you’ve to wait ages to get your order. I’ve ordered water, I never got it. I had to mention to remove it from my bill. It’s a pity

Super bad. The local is in a very bad condition and it smells awful. Also, be advised if you want to cover the parking by going there, you mush eat lunch! And supposedly what they want, because when we went they didn’t have pizza nor coffee. Overall a very bad experience.

Stopped here for a cappuccino after visiting the cathedral. I would not recommend 😐 charged us 6 euros each and cup was half full with other half filled with froth. Very poor. Also waitress serving looked bored and when we went to pay the man at the till he practically threw us the receipt. No smiles, nothing. Really don't bother better places nearby I am sure. Photo is the amount of coffee we actually got.

Amazing food in an amazing place. We ordered 2 pizzas and 1 salad. The ingredients were really fresh. The cooking was perfect. Italian taste at its best. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff and fast service. It's really nice if you visit it at summer night with cool temperature. Totally recommended. Enjoy !

Excellent pizza right outside the piazza of the Cathedral of Monreale. The crust dough is left to proof for 48 hours and is flavourful and a great mix between fluffy and chewy.

The boss and staff provide excellent service, and the pizza is made from wood-fired handmade kilns. The ingredients are very solid and delicious. Highly recommended.👍

Everything is good from appetizers to desserts. The pizzas are excellent. The first courses are really good. You definitely have to try the margherita alla carrettiera and the spaghetti with anchovies, the spaghetti with mussels and clams. The service is excellent.

Festeggiato un compleanno nelle settimane scorse. Ambiente abbastanza buio per quanto riguarda la possibilità semplicemente di.vedere cosa si ha nel piatto. Serata karaoke, con Musica in totale.distorzione che non permetterà di parlare con la persona seduta accanto in quanto la musica era al limite dell'assordante. Finalmente arrivano le pizze...e forse era meglio se non arrivavano. La.mia.compagna ha preso una pizzanconnla.rucola che era gialla e appassita. Io una pizza con salsiccia e cipolla che era al limite del commestibile. Tutto il tavolo ha lasciato parti delle.pizze perché sinceramente tra quando era bruciata,no con ingredienti scadenti, non si poteva continuare a mangiarle. Detto questo senza musica o cmq umanamente piacevole, gli antipasti erano stati decenti. Con le pizze si son davvero dati la zappa sui piedi. Io non ci tornerò, questo è poco ma sicuro. Spero che possano solo migliorare, perché peggio di cosi, sinceramente, é davvero difficile scendere.

Found the place through reviews and yes, I have to compliment them. Arriving at 2.30pm they welcomed us with a smile, politeness and friendliness, the staff recommended the starters and first courses, all made with the true flavors of Palermo. I didn't take photos because I was very hungry but believe me abundant and good dishes, I thank all the staff see you soon 💯💯💯💯

La Quercia is a entertainment hall/pizzeria restaurant, where, on some days of the week, lunches and dinners are organised, with DJs and group dancing. The restaurant is very spacious and is divided into 2 separate rooms. The place is mostly frequented by families and the environment is a little chaotic and a little too brightly lit. The staff are friendly but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

I had lunch in this restaurant for the first time and I really appreciated all the dishes cooked with passion and following traditions. The dishes arrive strictly hot and I couldn't say which I preferred more. I definitely recommend the first split shrimp and pistachios but also the sfincionelli, the aubergines in oil, the Panelline and finally the delicious cannoli. Music pleasantly accompanies lunch, and even the laziest of diners want to dance. The staff is super friendly. I will go back and try the pizza.

Place is quite and charming but the service is just bad. Had to wait 30 min for someone to come get our order and 45 min more for a pizza that was not bad but nothing special. I would not recommend unless you can go in the afternoon just to get a drink.

Its a must visit !! Its like to eat in a art Galery ! Wonderful paintings, interesting books! Its totaly awsome ! At lunch was no Pizza, maybe because it was out of season or just at night. The pasta was very very good. Good price ! Good coffee ! Good wine ! I just dont recomment the tiramisu what i had, but maybe it was just that day, that that wasnt recommandable. The service was very very friendly and nice ! I would definitly come again !

Love the atmosphere full with books, beautiful drawings and soft music. I sat inside but the outside appearance is lovely as well. We did have one small pizza - I like the taste and is well priced. Since I love thin base for pizza generally, their base become a bit downside for me. Besides, will be better flavourful if it is served with olive oil / chilli olive oil. For me, will go again to sit outside to enjoy lovely atmosphere with a beer 🍺😊.

The quality of the pizza was way below average, especially compared to the high price. The dough had a similar taste to the frozen ones, the tomato sauce wasn’t fresh at all. Another note on the wine, it was a very cheap one therefore all we could do is to throw it away. Pity because the location is cozy and original (especially the bathroom).

The pizza we had was not very tasty and so crispy that it was hard to chew. The pasta was okay. The service could not speak English and did not want to split the bill. The decision of that place is really nice.

Fantastic experience. I celebrated my daughter's first communion. My guests still compliment me on the choice of venue and menu. Excellent and plentiful dishes. The staff is very kind and ready to meet any customer request. The owners are exceptional. I recommend Locanda del Drago for any occasion or simply to eat an excellent pizza.
