3 weeks ago Esdras Veraexplained best how he liked it:I'm not usually in this area, but I stumbled upon this deli by accident. Turns out it was the best mistake ever! Seriously, their pastrami sandwich is incredible – hands down the best. The people there are really great, super friendly, and they make you feel right at home.
6 months ago Ryan Wiebeexplained best how he liked it:Props to Hobby's for making what is by far the best pastrami I have had and for taking allergies seriously as well. The cook came out and reassured me of their cooking and contamination free process. The pastrami wrap was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The staff was all friendly and helpful as well. And the homemade vanilla coke was amazing!
3 months ago Cindy Rippéwrote only this for this place:Stopped by here on my way to the airport and wow what an amazing experience and meal!! If you're ready for some old fashioned service with a modern menu, you are in for a treat! I ordered the chicken soup and it came with a huge matzah ball that was light and fluffy but very filling! The broth was soothing, flavorful, and obviously freshly made! Then, I had the most innovative kanish of my life stuffed with a tremendous meatball, oozing with melted cheese, and a savory sauce that I couldn’t stop dipping! I didn't want the meal to end and can't wait to come back! Thank you to Suzanne, Becky, the chef and team for this amazing experience! KUDOS to all!
3 months ago Briana McFadden: it is necessary to add to this place:Definitely a must try! The pickles they include are really good too I think it’s two different kinds they give you. I will always visit every time I’m in the area now. I’m glad I took the suggestion I saw it suggested everywhere as a great place in the area. Best corn beef and pastrami I’ve ever tasted!
3 months ago Mike Feinwhat can I say about this place?I met up with some Yankees twitter friends and had a great time. Hobby’s is fun, there is nearby parking, and the classic deli food never fails. Knowing I had a big meal coming in the evening, I went light with an outstanding mushroom barley soup and a perfectly grilled beef hot dog on a toasted bun. And I could “wash it down with a Doctor Brown”, with apologies to the Lovin’ Cohens. We loved talking to the owners, but I never mentioned myself as a NY Rangers fan😂😂. IYKYK. See ya next year! Update June 2025: I LOVE this deli. The owner is hilarious, the food perfection, the staff friendly and professional. I am a sucker for anything mushroom, and the mushroom barley soup did not disappoint. I think next year I will wear a Rangers jersey so I can have the throne in the back. IYKYK.
