It was nice, fried rice, vegetables, chicken with garlic. Sangria was too sweet. At the end we've got honey rum in erotic shot glasses, it was funny

Had a lovely meal here earlier this evening, crispy chicken, and dessert of lemon sorbet. Setting overlooking the sea couldn't have been bettered. Staff were very polite, welcoming and delightful and meal was served very quickly. I'm here for another 4 days so will be back!

Such sweet and kind people!!!! Food was amazing too. Definitely recommend the Peking duck (which the waitress came and wrapped herself!) and the Chicken with vegetables :)

This was our favourite spot to go to during our stay. We even went there twice in one week. First of all, the staff are so welcoming and really friendly. The prices are so cheap and you get such big portions. The food was so fresh and was really nice. The staff even gave us a free starter and free shots. Great place to go if you want to eat somewhere nice and cheap. Also the window view is absolutely beautiful!

Great food, friendly service, good value for money. Our waiter was genuinely a lovely guy. After we had sat down a closer table to the sea was vacated so they offered to move us. I had fresh fish of the day which was delicious. Definitely recommend ! My partner had the meat skewer which was great. Having seen other reviews previous about cash only, I can confirm they definitely DO take cards !

Outdoor restaurant with cover and shelter, though bring a jumper. Friendly, fast, large and good menu in several languages, extensive drinks menu, but I got a slight feeling that the food wasn't all equally good... though I wouldn't have a problem with going there again. Prices middling, maybe cheap for the area. Non-touristy restaurants that locals use are said to be much cheaper.

Delicious vegetable paella made to order, friendly staff, excellent service and a wonderful view as the sun goes down. Highly recommended.

Quickly seated, other than that very slow service and miscommunications (?) along the way. Price-quality for food & beverage was ok. It seemed the setup at Sagitario was for one server to take up an order and for another to bring it to the table. We were two people, my friend ordered a glass of Sangria and I ordered a water. The second waiter arrived with half a liter of Sangria and poured the water for both of us. Can happen with the water, of course, but with the Sangria was odd - “do you still want it anyway?” instead of an apology just felt weirdly pushy. We ordered bread with aioli and the tapas assortment and he soon came back with aioli. The second waiter arrived with tapas, but no bread yet. When the waiter passed again, I said we’d also ordered for the bread, so we still got it, then later on the bill, bread and aioli were mentioned separately, which almost doubles ordering them in price. Again weird how that went. The tapas themselves were what you may expect price-quality wise. The assortment of tapas I includes a picture of cost €12,50.

Food super nice. Service was not good. Two ladies who did half of everything. Forgot to take order for desert after handing the menue. Place was half full.

Felicia attention to detail could be a Master class to most restaurants. Food is delicious. Location with sea view l, right over the beach What else could you possibly ask for more? Impeccable Service that converts what could be just one more meal into an experience. Finally to put your mind to rest. Yes. Good value for money.

Best restaurant i ever visited in my life, really good and friendly staff, perfect service, food was really nice and tasty, good place and beautiful view for sunset, come here everyday since arrived in this island. i recommend visiting this place, will come back again DEFINITELY.

Visited again yesterday for a friends Birthday. We had Suckling Pig for 8 persons (Ordered in advance), better than fantastic. Love the Crackling. Not expensive, great staff, great food. Be back again soon.

Easy five stars! We stayed in Gran Canaria for a week and ate here twice. Amazing atmosphere and food, and great views from the windows. Extremely lovely people who make you feel at home. The chef cooks the food to perfection right in front of you and it's quite the show. If you'd like a window seat, make sure to book in advance, especially during high season, as the restaurant can get very busy. They are so hardworking and I wish them and their business every success! Highly recommended.

1st visit and made to feel very welcome straight away. We shared a mixed salad starter which was good and plentiful. We both had flame grilled chicken breast for main. We expected just that, but it came in a sauce, not mentioned on the menu. Perhaps offered as an option would have been better. It was an extremely hot evening and became very hot in the restaurant so we didn't have a dessert or coffee. Food very reasonably priced and staff all very friendly.

Where do I start?! Every visit to Resturante Fernando is perfect. The staff, the food and the atmosphere. The food is amazing and is literally cooked in front of you, the restaurant it's self is family run and every time I visit I'm made to feel like one of the family. This restaurant gets extremely busy so booking is advised.

We‘ve been there a few times and also stayed for New Year‘s Eve. Food is just great, staff very friendly and attentive. You can either watch the sunset over the sea or the preparation of your food.

Honestly this is hard to fault. Classy steakhouse with reasonable menu (in English if you like), vaguely cordon bleu. Service on the quick side. Outdoor tables if you're that way minded. Food good. Prices fairly cheap to middling depending on what you have.

The pool is quite nice but not too big, at times it can get crowded. But it is very clean. The location is good, in between Puerto Rico and Maspalomas, great finds. Make sure you rent a car if you stay here, as it comes very very handy. As a couple we received 2 single beds pushed against each other that kept sliding away, very annoying, we had to tie up the beds legs. The cleanliness in the apartment itself wasn't so good, we could find hair in the shower, on the towels, and during the cleaning service the floor was rarely washed, we weren't impressed at all. With exception of Edgar, the breakfast and pool bar attendant whom is a very kind, there is no one who provides customer service at all. The reception is a complete joke, they do not give you any sort of information at check-in except, of course, pay now. What really surprised me was how rudely could this guy chew gum in front of us, I know I haven't booked a 5* property, but if they want good reviews, they need to considerably improve their behavioural service, during our stay he was rude and completely useless, while using the pool out of hours as well ( it-s 9 to 19 ). The noise from the heavy machinery working on top of the reception is constant drilling from 8-9 am to 6 pm during the week, thanks god we were far away from the works, but going to the pool or the bar wasn't relaxing because of that. If you fall in the spider net, at least ask for a room ending in 11, as they are in the other corner from the works. We were quite disappointed the restaurant wasn't open during our stay, it was closed for all september for holiday. Parking facilities at the apartments are non existent, only street parking available, right in the middle of a turn, which is single yellow line most of it. Overall I will not stay here again, think twice before paying because there is no way back, no free cancellations.

This place is awful. Firstly when we arrived everything was closed and our room keys were left on the shop shutter with our names on them but no note to tell us they're there, could of easily missed it and spend our first night in reception (overheard another family complain about the same thing). The room is alright but the TV was not working so spend a whole week facing a black screen before going to sleep. Then breakfast, firstly they don't inform you of the closing time for the buffet and when we found out it was 10:30 we went down one morning at 10am and they had already cleared everything out. Staff are not very friendly they don't smile and the elevator stinks every morning. This place is awful and if Gran Canaria wasn't so beautiful our holiday would have been ruined. The cleaners walked into our room without knocking twice and once they came knocked then walked away. We stayed for 7 nights they barely changed the towels (pretty sure they picked them up from the floor) we got two little pouches of shampoo and no tea/coffee. The lighting is awful really dull and depressing and the extra lamp didn't even work. Also on our last day they called us at 1pm and asked us when we're leaving because they want to clean the room for the next people? Which is ridiculous because that's not our Check out time- how can you ask your customers to leave their room cause your cleaners can't do an efficient job. Never coming here again.

Its clean, staff are nice but not overly helpful, pool is ok, location is ok, breakfast is ok but not much in the way of healty options (fry-up or sugar-pops only). Main complaints are beds are horrible and no ventilation at all in bedrooms, so sleeping soundly is problematic.

Me and my wife have enjoyed our stay in the Villa Del Mar the apartment is very nice and well equipped and maintained. The staff are pleasant and accommodating the food in the restaurant is very good as is the service this is our first time to this part of the world and after our first time we will definitely come back to visit.

Amazing Sushi place, really tasty food and a beautiful view. It's a free buffet restaurant, you order from a tablet. We also have the Viñasol white wine that I enjoyed it. The place is cosy inside, fast and amable service.

Ate chicken skewers with rice as well as pork gyozas. Good food, even for the ones who don’t like sushi like myself. My company said the sushi was the best they have had in a while. Beautiful view as well. Would be 5 stars, but the ordering system was completely faulty. It took us about 20 minutes to order. Menus and a waiter would be much more effective. You get an iPad where you enter your order. So the next person cannot view the menu before going to order.

Great Sushi restaurant to eat at with family & friends which gives you the option to eat as much as you like. Great option as we were six & we all enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was good & the views over the sea were fab. Staff were helpful & friendly & explained the ordering system on the I-pad to us. Food was excellent & freshly prepared for us. Overall a great experience for all of us. 👍👌🍹😁💥

Popped in for a quick dinner, ordered just a few vegan Sushi and spring roles. Freshly made and tasty. Fair prices and a very friendly waitress.

We stayed at the Radisson nearby, and this was our favourite lunch spot. Friendly staff, a great menu, a perfect location and sensible prices. We tried salads, grills and lots of camembert - it was all good!

We ventured out from our hotel to try something new and there was a place that was highly rated on trip advisor. That place is now closed and in its stead, stand this establishment. What works? 1. It's practically located on one of the better beaches on the island so, if you are looking for some excellent views while you eat, this place has it. 2. It's inexpensive! It costs so much less than what we are paying at the hotel, but then again, we are staying at the Radisson Blu. What does not work? 1. The table we were given was not cleaned. There were scraps of food and hair on it. The waitress made no attempt to clean it. 2. The food is nothing special! Honestly I can do better paella and the other stuff was akin to pub food. 3. The service was slow. We were told that it would take up to 20 minutes to be served the paella and we waited almost 1/2 hour. The menue selection is okay but nothing special. On another day, I would have scored this 2.5, but today, I am feeling generous. Let's just say that we will not be going back.

Such a great place, highly recommended! I had a steak on a heating pan, it was awesome! Service is super friendly, also a great view on an ocean. Particularly everything in this restaurant is tasty: steaks, tapas, tuna tartar, seafood soup etc. Sangria is very sweet and strong. Only burger was not my favorite, but they have a plenty of other stuff

Nice restaurant in a great location with an awesome view on the sea. The food was overall okay. On the one hand chateaubriand was great. On the other hand the meet of the mixed grill dish was raw. Beside food the service was nice and friendly. especially worth mentioning is that there was a little dish of the house at the beginning.

Everything was amazing, we order the paella and I never try any other one is this one. From the waitress and the owner everyone was super friendly and way out of their way to make sure you happy. For sure we will be back here again.

Lovely place, tucked away above Patalavaca beach. Great views, and a warm welcome from all the friendly staff. Some of the best food we've eaten all holiday, with all the tapas dishes a decent sharing size. Definitely recommend the chorizo (really good quality, we had in cider, perfect for dipping garlic bread in!), the baby elvers with prawns and garlic (absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly), little chicken kebabs (beautifully prepared, juicy and tasty), and a tomato and mozzarella salad of very generous proportions. All accompanied by a light and young tempranillo (cheapest house wine, such a bargain for the quality!). We were so impressed that we hope it's open on Sunday for us to eat there again on our last night!

Highly recommended! Waited 45 mins for Paella, but it was worth it. Vegetarian paella was the best we had eaten. Sangria was also very good - perhaps not the best, but quite good.

Discovered this last night as we had a walk from Anfi. What a great little place. The staff are attentive but not pushy. Janette was super kind. Lovely tapas and a great relaxing venue. Fantastic prices too. We will be back for more.

Our favourite place to eat in the area, visited 3 times in a week. Great food, lovely service and excellent wine choices. A must if you are in the area.

Amazing food perfect service, soo good we came back two days later

This place is an absolute pleasure to eat at. Superb quality a la carté food. Excellent service and a view that is hard to beat. Book early for balcony seats at least a week in advance. Overall it is the best dining experience I've had in the whole of Gran Canaria. I can highly recommend the fillet of beef which was incredibly succulent and cooked to perfection.

The meals were extremely delicious! If you ever visit here, you should definitely try them! Also the staff were super friendly and kind. I love this place and I would love to visit again. Oh by the way, the food was like my mom’s food! ♥️ Thank you for the delicious experience :)

A lovely evening with great service, gorgeous views, amazing food, perfectly cooked chateaubriand, so much so we lost count of how many bottles of El Grifo Malvasia Lias we had

What an experience! Service is wonderful and the sunset views are incredible 😍 the food is nice as well but some dishes are not properly described so we ended up getting a veal schnitzel when we were expecting an entrecote. Bookings are highly recommended to get a table on the lovely terrace

All in all a very nice restaurant. Both food an service was good. Located by the beach. Very nice place for a steak dinner and wine. A dinner for a family will cost about €125. I would come back, but give 4 stars as this is not the best restaurant i have visited.

Large portions so go hungry! We started with mixed salad and melon with ham - 1 would have been enough for us to share. Our mains were breaded sole - 2 fillets, and sole meuniere which was huge and absolutely delicious. I noticed some couples were sharing a main. We will visit again during our stay.
