I specifically booked this restaurant for 2 reasons. Firstly, I wanted to try the famous Pork Knuckle that the Czech Republic offers, and secondly, it was the cheapest I could find for the portion size you got. I ordered said Knuckle and my partner ordered the crispy duck, as well as 2 bottle of cola each as well. I must say, for a total of £22, I really couldn't fault it. The staff were great, were really attentative and talkative, food came quickly and cooked perfectly. We did think about walking here but decided to get an Uber, but it was 100% worth it. They do seem to have a good bar selection as well

The service was very friendly and was near when we need something. The location was clean even the toilets. The food was good, we had vegetarian food and a the Šalanda Burger. The meet of the Šalanda Burger (in the picture) was very dry. But the rest was good.

Polite staff, tasty traditional Czech dishes, good beer. Simple but modern interior.

The lunch meals range from 3* to 4*. The staff is usually very busy and not very nice. The interior design with lots of wooden cladding. There is an issue with tap water: I've always asked for a glass of tap water with my lunch which was usually free. But last time the waitress just brought me a big 1l jar of water without telling me that it costs 50CZK... I asked her about it and she insisted they do not serve glasses of water. Funny thing is they have a glass of lemonade for 15 CZK with lunch, but not a glass of tap water... I would be even willing to pay for it like 10CZK, but not 50 CZK for 1l that I cannot drink.

Decent Czech food and friendly service. Portion size was just right. The duck was crispy, but juicy inside, could've used some more sauce, though. Unfortunately they were out of green beer, which was why we came here in the first place. Also I found it a bit odd, that the waiter specifically asked for a tip.

Brilliant sports bar and great drinks. I had the classic Czech beer, and my brother had a vodka with coke, both lovely! I give it 4 stars though due to some unhappy service….oh well!

Giving 5/5 mostly because of dark haired skinny waitress which is just awesome. She (without asking) brought a container with water for my GF flowers, she wanted to give me a cigarette when she heard I was smoking, she made some local specific funny comments on what we were doing. Think she is a gem there :). Thanks!

You get a beer or two and some small bites. Staff is quite nice and they have clean toilets(only for visitors). Near playground, so I suggest this for families very much.

Good place for drinks and food. The place has a long history in Prague. The food has always been great, whatever is on the daily meny is good. 3 brands of beer. Cerny kozel, Gambrinus and Pilsner (normal and un filtered). Table football in great condition in the back room that opens from 18:00.

It was my first time trying Indian food and I didn't know what to expect. Waiter had a recommendation for me after short interview about my food preferences and I decided to give it a try. Food was well prepared and delicious! I wish my stay in Prague was a one night longer so I could try another dish from their menu.

Not authentic Indian. There is certainly no “Tamil chicken” in India. It was not at all spicy and too tomatoey. But I understand they have to cater for the local people(who do not appreciate any foreign food as it is and have to mess it up by adding their own “touch”). Great service.

Coming to this place is an absolute experience. All of their dishes have a flavour explosion! Their naan is delicious so buttery! I’m never disappointed here, the staff is the friendliest! I recommend this place 100%

Absolutely delicious and authentic Indian food. I had the Chicken Tikka masala and Mughlai Chicken meal for lunch on two different days. The food was hands down, the best Indian food I have eaten at an Indian restaurant overseas. Obvious recommendation to everyone looking to eat some amazing Indian delicacies.

This place was rated no2 out of 4000+ restaurants on TripAdvisor, so I had extremely high expectations. The staff is very attentive and professional and portions are nice and big. Their Nan was absolutely delicious. Although the butter chicken tasted very plain.

Great dinner here, with some lovely B52 drinks to end. The service here was nice, but maybe a little slow. The food was tasty and the beer delicious, as well as the cocktails. It serves a range of cuisines, from traditional Czech to Mexican to Italian. Overall, I would recommend for a nice dinner.

Recommend by Viking staff of Hilton hotel! 5 minutes walk from Hilton which gave us the option from the over priced Hilton food! The food is great here, and the place is even better! My wife and I had a dish for each of us plus one 500cc beer for about $30 USD. We have couple more night here in Prague, so we will come back again to try something else!

Everything was great! Goulash, Rump steak and the spaghetti Bolognese was top notch. Friendly staff.

I went there to pick up some food to take away two days in a row. The person who attended me was really nice. The food was really good, although it a bit of time to have it prepared, and I didn’t get everything I ordered (they forgot the salmon). The price was not extremely cheap, but not too expensive. I recommend this place if you are next to Florenc area.

I used to be really happy with this restaurant service and food but the last two times have been really disappointing. On the first one, I ordered the same dish I always do, mushroom risotto. However, it was missing cheese and salt, it was totally plain. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen so I let the waitress know. She told me that this risotto never has cheese and show it on the menu. While cheese is not specified, I could see that allergens have number (7) for milk so I asked her please to follow up with chef. She came back to me saying that indeed, she was wrong, it is supposed to have cheese but that the chef said, that he added it on my one. Basically, while I was being polite trying to solve a mistake for a tasteless dish I had paid for, she was using a strategy of 'blame the customer, we are doing all good here'. A better option would be "I am sorry to hear, let me take it and add some cheese for you". My wife and myself ended up paying for two dishes that we did not enjoy at all, very unpleasant experience. On the second, we came on a Saturday night to have a couple of drinks and some snack. We were first offered a table in a nice and quiet area with our own table which seemed ok. We were waiting for some minutes before the waiter finally came. He didn't come to ask for our order but rather to move us to another table. He claimed that a family had a reservation and that this was going to be their table. If they really had a reservation, how they didn't take care of it before we were sat down there? I think it was just a way to make room to more people. We went to the table that was offered to us which basically was being shared with another couple. On top of that we were close to a very full and noisy table. Overall, not the place we were hoping to be in. After 15-20 min waiting the waiter had not come yet so we decided to leave. While we are regular customers, after these two experiences we have decided not to come back in a while. I hope that this review will make management and staff in the restaurant take better care of their customers.

Great service. Staff was over the top friendly and accommodating. Great cocktails, great social areas, great meals and buffet breakfast. Beds were comfortable- air conditioned rooms, Comfortable, and clean. Rain shower head in bathroom. Very contemporary design. Yes, I’d stay again in a heartbeat. Very nice.

This wasn’t my first time at a Pentahotel, so I knew what to expect - and it didn’t disappoint. For the most part. The lobby bar/reception is lively, very cool place for young people to chill and have a drink. The check-in was easy and fast, however, in my rate I should have gotten ZOO tickets which I never got. Also, prior to the stay I was asked to check in online, which I did, and should have been upgraded and offered a free drink - again, didn’t happen. This left me a bit disappointed. The room was nice, very big and functional. Breakfast was great and fresh! Location is really good in an upbeat area of Prague, easily walkable to the public transport, but also city center.

Good: The bathroom facilities in the rooms were great, and the bed's mattress was really comfortable (firm). The hotel's breakfast offering has a large selection and food is of great quality. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Not so good: The pillows on the bed - very flimsy! Also, my room (724) is on the opposite side of the building to the main entrance, and it's opposite a building site (they start work at 07:00) and is very close to the overground metro (which seemingly runs all night, so it can be noisy!).

We had a good time at the hotel. Decent clean rooms. Nice lobby with free pool table and PS4. Spacious gym. Super nice staff, if you book directly you get a discount and late checkout. 2 minutes to tram or metro stop so you're 15 minutes from old town.

Superb delicious breakfast! Billiards and games in the lobby. The view from the room us just okay. Rooms are spacious. Wifi works great. Fitness room also available. Location is also good.

I organized an event for 70 attendees in this hotel, and it was perfect location for hosting an event. Meeting room was very good for our purpose, and sound system etc. were working perfectly. Meeting facilities staff was very helpful and available right away when something was needed. Rooms were very comfortable too and hotel was nicely located with walking distance to beautiful places. Breakfast was tasty and well as were all the servings during our event at our conference space and during lunches. Good experience and would recommend this place if you are an ordinary traveler or if you are searching for a great place in Prague to host your event.

Nice rooms. Love the styling. Breakfast was excellent. Haven't had this great breakfast in a hotel in a long time now. The señor at the check in counter could have been bit more warm but it is what it is. Would definitely go again - the location and access with public transport is great. The breakfast was our highlight.

I was very happy with the experience overall. Our room was lovely, clean and bigger than expected. Checking in and out was uncomplicated and the staff was very friendly. It's only been a 3 minute walk from the bus station and about 10-15 minutes by foot to the city center. The hotel bar is a highlight, nice choice of cocktail for a reasonable price made by very talented bartenders. Special thanks go out to Michal the bartender! If it wasn't for the hotel I would always come back for him.

Staff are very helpful. They park your car for you in their awesome elevator parking! There is a daily fee to keep your car in their garage though, keep that in mind. The minibar contents are actually in the lobby of the hotel, you can grab them from there and store them in your mini fridge in the room. We got hotel breakfast included because we didn’t have time to eat breakfast out, and sure enough their breakfast spread was adequate and good, with some gluten free options. I liked their bread and scrambled eggs. The rooms are super spacious in comparison to the previous hotel we stayed at in Prague. My only concern was the AC didn’t work so well and the room/bathroom cleaning could be better. But overall excellent hotel, staff and location.

Clean, new, bright, minimalist rooms. Very central location close to metro, tram and bus station. But it is not the loveliest area..Breakfast is really good and rich. The staff was very kind and helpful. Definitely great value for what you pay. I would stay there again visiting Prague.

Burger was good. Decent choice of burgers on the menu. Beers from Pivovar Kocour. Outdoor seating is good as the road is quiet - try to sit on the back of the old truck!

Nice atmosphere of the place, reasonable price for the daily menu, it was tasty and fast prepared. You can get free soup to it. But the waitress was extremely rude for no reason, this made a bad aftertaste!

We had early dinner there, place is great, nice looking. Not so much option to select from, but that’s alright. Prices are reflecting current situation and staff is very kind and funny. Taste of the burgers is “normal”, I would say nothing special but also it’s tasty. Guacamole burger would be better with different cheese than mozzarela (which is tasteless). Sweet potatoe chips are more expensive but they are not good at all, I recommend to stay with classic ones. So in the end it’s classic good restaurant, nothing suprising. Food - 3* Prices - 4* Staff - 5* Interior - 5*

The burger is really tasty and it was a great amount of portion 340g and the fries and colweslaw were really tasty. I would definitely go again. The staff is friendly and smiley and the atmosphere was welcoming but nothing really specil that would amaze me. Lovely evening with bunch of froemds or colleagues are really great place to go.

As a Belgian I can confirm this beer bar is totally worth it. A lot of very refreshing Czech beers, both on tap as bottled. They even offer several Belgian beers in a bottle. The food and service are both very good value for money. Great outdoor terrace in the back. Would recommend.

Our first stop in Prague for food, we didn't quite know what to expect, and we wanted something local. Every day they offer 4 or so meals, and we were glad to see one vegetarian option, and it was deep fried cauliflower with mashed potatoes with tartar sauce. I was a bit skeptical first, but it was actually very tasty! I'd definitely eat there again 😉 good beer choices available there 😁

This is probably a great venue for a beer loving group, such as a stag do, but it is not ideal for an older couple, beer aficionados or not. Although we booked and arrived in time, the upstair staff sent us downstairs and the downstairs staff tried to send us upstairs. The menu shown on Google is not available in full every night, and on Thursday there was no main meal, as suggested by the menu. Men who appeared to go through to staff facilities , ( so maybe they were staff?), were noisily watching ice hockey throughout our meal, and shouting very loudly when goals were scored. The food was ok and not expensive, but it appeared to be the sort of place where you bring your own group to create your own ambience

Unfortunately we came super early when it opened and this was because we couldn't get a seat the night before. Food was real good actually, local and tasty. Only reason for 1* less is they didn't have everything on there that we wanted to try. We did however have enough room for chess :?

Excellent restaurant, for me the best of my holidays in Prague. The food was incredible, a delicious Soup with a Main plate marvellous too, taste and hight quality. The price was cheap even with the tip (Around 20€ for 2 people). In addition the service was really nice, quick and polite. Even if you're not near (It's not exactly in the center of Prague, maybe you have to walk 30') it's completely worth it. If I come back to this city I will return for sure.

They have two options: a 2 course menu of your choice or a 5 course one when the dishes are selected by the chef. You can also opt for wine pairing. Before you get the main dishes, you get their bread and butter as an appetizer. This restaurant is rather casual, but geared towards experience, so not meant for everyday dining. Every dish is very well crafted, the ambience is also great. I suppose it’s worth the price.

Dined here in Aug 2022. Great place with a very good ambience. The cafe and restaurant is very spacious. The restaurant is on the 1st floor (entrance via the main bakery/cafe) and the bakery/cafe & kitchen is on the ground floor. I ordered the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was worth it. The potato dish (which is their longest serving dish as I was told) was very good. The wine pairing was very reasonable priced Overall, a definite recommendation for people visiting Prague.

Ordered the 5 course tasting menu, along with the duck main course and potatoes in ash, said to be one of their signature dishes. The duck and potatoes did not disappoint although the 5 course tasting menu left me wanting. But overall food was fresh and well prepared and delicious. Service was okay. Why 4 stars? Primarily service. 1. The servers don’t seem to replace the utensils even after heavy use. I didn’t even get a sharper knife for the duck until we asked for it. 2. Charged 65 kc for tap water. Thought they should have made this clear. 3. The servers placed the spoon on the table. With covid, I found that a little disconcerting. But the restaurant was kept clean and staff members were wearing masks diligently most times.

Loved the minimal vibes of this restaurant. The food was a full on experience, mixing traditional Czech food with a revisited hint. Liked the open view of the kitchen and bakery as well as the mini shop inside to allow you to purchase their products. The staff was professional and very knowledgeable. Prices were super affordable for the quantity and quality of food. A must try!

Loved it. Eska's a fab concept w homemade ferments, local sourcing, relaxed vibe and a young crew on board. Popped in for a treat dinner early on a cold Jan Sunday pm. Restaurant upstairs. Mixed crowd. Tables socially distanced. Homemade bread and pumpkin chutney delicious. 5-course tasting menu great value w decent portions. Veg focused and some really lovely strong bright flavours. Natural wine flight had varied, interesting choices and generous pours. Knowledgeable waiter was happy to explain dishes and wines in English. Recommend as somewhere different and modern, you don't have to break the bank, and it's not too fine dining pretentious.

We went here at 11pm. The lot is not exactly a safe place to go late at night. The inside is new and updated and they have machines to order from. Good to a little bit, but it was hot. The soda fountain needs some adjusting.

I ordered 1 burger for 39 kc and 42 burger with cheese for takeout. And change my mind insde and eaten there. So fast you dont need to wait there a counter are and a machine for fast and furious transaction. Its near to florence metro

Worst ever manager blonde woman who was working 18.08.22 in the evening 21-21:30 o’clock. Throwing food and drinks around, arrogant behavior. We just noticed that we ordered a drink with no ice which was marked in the receipt and asked for a substitution. Moreover, I went to toilets through the gate and than got stopped by a scary man in a white shirt, who said that I need to pay. My response was that I am customer and own a receipt. He said it does not matter, shouting at me with anger. Just awful, no idea how a company like McDonalds can even hire these people to work in a restaurant. Really hope they can change personnel at this particular branch on Florenc, Prague

This Mcdonalds makes me want to eat mc donalds all the time…. Delicious food and great service
