Nice and tasty food! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. To be honest, based on the reviews, I was expecting more. The starters for me were too oily and they were not felt so fresh. I would prefer to take something else. Pasta was super tasty, totally recommend it. Probably there was a problem with our order since we have been waiting for the pasta almost an hour. People who ordered after us, received their order before us. So we reminded it to the waitress. After this, our order came quite fast.

This is the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. The portions are enormous and reasonably priced. The pasta we ordered had the perfect texture and was exploding with a deep, rich flavour. The selection of cheese and meat for antipasto was great and it had a huge portion of porchetta. I haven't even finished the meal and I'm writing this review because the food is so good. I would highly recommend eating here!

This place was great. Went very early (1 hour before opening) line quickly formed outside about 50 ppl deep waiting to get in. We sat outside, which was a bummer. Inside is better. We had several pastas and apps as the food is reasonably priced. Food came out quick and service was good. Was a bit sad as the flaming cheese pasta wasn't served table side, but it looks like they don't do that. Overall I'd come back here over and over. Was amazing.

Some of the best food I’ve had in Rome. This is a fun restaurant with a great atmosphere. You can eat inside or outside on the street we ate inside and it was loud just like any good Italian restaurant would be with people laughing and having a good time. The food was excellent over all we had a meat platter antipasti, which was excellent, the truffle ravioli was great and the mushroom ravioli was excellent. We went in the fall and it’s mushroom season there. I definitely recommend.

Went here our first night ever in Italy and it did not disappoint!! Everything I imagined eating in Italy would be like. The bread was so good, the wine even better, and the pasta…don’t even get me started! If you are in Rome for a few days, make sure to hit up this place. The wait is super long but it’s worth it. Everyone eats late in Rome so go sometime between 6-8 to get in faster. Enjoy!

The food was delicious. We ordered fettuccine, pizza, and eggplants. Everything was delicious, we did not leave anything on the plate. The atmosphere and ambience of the site is also very pleasant and calm. The best was the attention and service of Rasel, who served us with all kindness (in English and Spanish). I would definitely go back.

Great service, great food. Decent price. Very lively environment. Got the Spaghetti with Clams and Carbonara for dinner, and a Tiramisu. Everything was good - and came quite quickly too even though the restaurant was super busy. Would give up my firstborn to eat here for the first time again not knowing how delicious everything would be and how nice the people were!

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Amazing quick stop for lunch! I’m gluten free and they offered both pasta and pizza to accommodate me. Harry both seated and served us and was a phenomenal waiter. Definitely will be returning!

The food is prepared quickly and there is something to please everyone. The service here is very hospitable, they stand everywhere nearby and are always ready to take an order. The atmosphere is very comfortable, it is because of it that we came here, there are warm lights on the street, and a very beautiful and aesthetic garland. And there is a dish here 1 € -16 € (excluding wine)

Don’t believe all the bad, picky and angry reviews of this place! We decided to do a spontaneous pizza crawling today and went to a few places recommended by locals and based on Google reviews…none of them were close to the definition of a good pizza. So at the end of the night, we decided to give this “touristy trap” a try and it was absolutely the best Rome style pizzas we had! The ingredients were fresh and flavorful (some were strong and others were light and subtle). The crust was amazing: crunch, slightly salty and fluffy close to the middle of the pie. Trust me as a fellow pizza and bread lover, come here!

We took the opportunity to go early to beat the queues, so at 11:30 on a weekday we arrived. There was a little queue but nothing too big. It took approximately 15 minutes to get served. There was a wide selection of pizza but most of them had fish. There wasn't too much choice on that day for anyone who cannot eat fish. So I opted for a pork and a basic cheese. My honest review is that Bonci has a very good reputation for what they stand for and the practices and standards they adhere too which I appreciate. The pizza base itself was actually the best pizza base we tasted in Rome. I honestly just wished that were was more choice available to write a better review. On the plus side there was plenty of space outside to eat the pizza nice and hot. Price point: we paid about €12 euro for 4 modest slices of pizza which is a few euros more than other establishments for about the same quantity.

I loved everything about this pizza establishment except the pizza and the price. It was good but not up to the hype. They clearly try hard to deliver a consistently good quality product over and over again. The place was packed and business was good. The prices are a bit much for takeaway pizza too.

Pizza was delicious. But for Bonci staff would recommend to be more attentive to new people - not just selling. You can see them standing in a row without the tickets, not knowing how they should behave here (you need to push a button outside and to get a number. After your number will appear on the screen you can go to order. In a crowd it is hard to notice this numbers’ machine). Be kind with people - as with your pizza dough. The food is important, but the atmosphere is more important.

First of all, take your number near the door. Second, prices are not the lowest - ok? - but the quality of the pizza is awesome. So, if you think you are the real pizza lover you must visit this place. The dough is awesome, selling girls are nice, all products are fresh and very good. Why 4 stars? Yes, you need wait and not much place to seat or stand near. For somebody it’s might be a problem. Just try to think that’s legendary street food point. The restaurant is very famous on a busy street so expect some waiting time to get a table during peak hours. After reading a lot of positive reviews and various blogs about this place online, we visited this place. The ravioli was marked as the best in town by the reviews that I read and made me excited to try it! Well the food was average nothing super special as claimed We ordered 2 pastas and drinks which were good. Nothing worth the hype. But at the same time this place has a authentic Italian vibe with was a plus.

Superb tomato sauce pasta. We came at around 12 and were able to sit in right away. The waitress was very attentive and the food was served warm and very quickly. We absolutely loved both the Meatball pasta and the Ravioli. The tomato sauce was definitely my favorite part. It was rather strong in taste, extremely flavorful and rich, unlike in other places where it is more subtle. The meatballs had a nice shape. They were tender and well-seasoned. I have to mention the Ravioli dish because it is probably the best ravioli I have ever had. The spinach-ricotta filling just melted in my mouth. Prices are reasonable in the area and there is a 10% service charge.

We came without reception and it was in the evening.. the manager was very friendly and the let us wait for 30 min until we had our table ready. They served a fruit juice to our son during our wait outside.. the restaurant was small but beautiful and cozy.. the staff were very friendly and the service were fast.. the fries with cheese and pepper was very delicious and I would come back only for this if I had to.. the cheese and pepper pasta and risotto were delicious also.. the pizza was normal for us and we tried more delicious pizza in other places.. it was a very good experience for us and thanks again to the manager and the staff for their hospitality

This was a great place to go and have a delicious meal. Everything was beyond good. Even though we did have to wait a little for a table they took great care of us in line and even provided snacks and refreshments. The food itself was fantastic in every way. The staff was kind and personable. I would definitely recommend.

Such a fun little find. We loved our food! We received great service. This place does not accept reservations so you will have to get there and wait. We came during off season and we had no wait. We also appreciated the fast service, since we are not Italians and not used to long service wait, the fast service was very well appreciated. We would definitely come back.

The food here is fantastic. Plenty of locals as well as tourists dine here. We were served by Andrea who was great! He always had a big smile. We had a variety of pasta and the portions were big. The tiramisu was also great. Would recommend you visit here at least once. They don't take bookings here so be prepared to queue.

We loved Otello. Staff is incredibly friendly and the food is out of this world delicious. The home made ravioli is the best we’ve had. The fried artichoke was new for us and also tasted very good. Tiramisu was amazing. Went back two days later because we loved it so much. No reservations possible but service is very quick.

What a proper meal. It was easy to get seated and served. Great service and food came in a short time. Enthusiastic and hilarious staff. Great taste and simple menu. Only had the Roman classics and no regrets. Would go again and again!!

We absolutely loved this place. I understand why this has a high rating. The food was fresh, quick and they were big portions as well. The food tasted very homemade which, in my opinion, is a big plus. Although there was a queue on the outside, we were seated very quickly and the staff is very friendly.

Great market place where you can buy a wide variety of goods. The prices are higher but the quality of the products is higher as well. There're many choices of vegan food wich is really appreciated. You can also enjoy Illy coffe, Venchi ice-cream or sicilian "arancine" here on the first floor. There are tables where you can take a little rest and enjoy your snack. I've tasted capuccino with soy milk and it was good here. On the other floors you can also eat but I didn't try this option yet. The parking is available nearby.

Delicious tour of Italy! This place is packed with food, books, and wine. Free samples, disability friendly, and a one stop shop. Easy for foreigners like myself. There is a parking lot and a train stop three blocks away.

Wow! What a place. The NYC one pales in comparison. Everything at such reasonable prices with a vast variety of things. Remember to validate the parking before leaving.

We ate here our first night and came back for more. The space is great, it is kind off like a foodcourt. There are different types of food (pizza, pasta, salads, burgers, Fries and mant more!. Lunch, snack or dinner. You order at the place you want to get your food, and you can order drinks at the table using a QR code. We had (over te corse of 4 nights)1 carbonara truffle pasta (MUST TRY!), a truffle risotto, A Pizza la parigina, desserts (MUST TRY!) and a Frittatina amatracina (MUST TRY!) and it was AMAZING. 10/10. The vibe is amazing! Definitley go here.

Excellent food centre. There is a wide variety of food selection. Reasonable prices. Meet everyones needs. All the food looked great. I had a plate of vegetables. Who knew a plate of vegetables could taste so good.

One of the best restaurants regarding quality/price ratio. The place is always full but the queue goes super fast so it’s easy to find a table. The food is super good, both pasta and pizza at least, and the a tiramisu is quite nice as well.

If you're looking for an affordable Italian dining experience, then Carlo Menta is definitely worth checking out. This restaurant may not offer the most luxurious ambiance or the most diverse menu, but it more than makes up for it with its delicious and reasonably priced dishes. We recently tried the Quadro Formaggi pizza and pasta with cheese and pepper, and we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty and filling they were. The pizza had a generous amount of cheese and a crispy crust, while the pasta was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of spice. To accompany our meal, we also ordered half a liter of wine, which was a great complement to our dishes. Overall, we felt satisfied and content with our meal, especially when considering the prices. The restaurant's affordability is definitely one of its strongest selling points. While Carlo Menta may not be the best Italian restaurant we've ever been to, it's certainly a great choice for those who want a decent meal without breaking the bank. THE BEST restaurant in Roma! This one is a must visit! The food is “homemade” and incredibly delicious, the service was perfect, and the prices are so affordable i genuinely thought it was a prank (lol). We randomly found it during our stay, and we went back again a few hours before leaving for the airport. Yes it’s THAT good! My recommendations: the marinara pizza, the steak, and the tiramisu (easily the best one I’ve ever had).

We had delicious lunch menu with affordable price. Although the restaurant was full house, we didn't have to wait long for our meals to be served. Spaghetti alla carbonara was really delicious. Highly recommend it. Would like to come back again.

It's a Hard Rock cafe so it's important you know what you're getting before you arrive. The wait staff are nice and all had great English. The memorabilia is great - much better than some of the smaller franchises. Food is what you'd expect. It's not gourmet food, but it tastes great and is reasonably priced. Avoid ice in drinks though, as it's full to the top and you only get about a 3rd of a glass!

We received a warm welcome and enjoyed our time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were great. Although I thought the prices were a bit high, everything is too expensive in Rome. I normally like to try the local special burger, but I couldn't see it on the menu. Overall I recommend it.

I liked the design of this hard rock cafe. The burger were good and a welcome change after all the pasta and pizza. The service was super friendly and fast. I would recommend to make an online reservation as it was very busy when we went in the evening. We made an online reservation and did not have to wait.

This is a must do when you just want a good burger and fries. The service was very good. Our waitress loved American baseball and we connected instantly with her. The drinks were on point. This is the best Hard Rock Cafe I've been visited.

Really loved this place. The decoration makes you feel that you are dining with rock legends. Everywhere you turn, you find something to look at, while listening to great music. It's like a museum of music legends. Now the food, we started with some wings, and those were one of the best we have ever tasted in Rome. Then we had burgers, the Original, the Messi, and the Cheesy Bacon. They were really great. Can't stress enough on how much we enjoyed our lunch there. Highly Recommended 👍👍👍

I came twice to Tonnarello during my stay in Rome and I absolutely loved it. Local home made Italian food at a very reasonable price. The menu is quite varied with antipasti, pasta, pizzas and meat. If you don’t manage to book a table in advance you can just turn up and queue, don’t be afraid as the waiting time is normally around 20-30 min and it’s worth it! Rosy was extremely kind and helpful. I will definitely be back soon!

You must go here! What a fantastic place to eat! Came across when exploring in Rome and have been twice since. It's very affordable and in a great location. Incredible food - best I've had in Italy so far and really recommend for those who are vegetarian as they have some great dishes to pick from. Very accommodating and friendly staff. I went as a solo traveller the first time and they made me feel very welcome and checked in on me regularly. Went again last night and it was much busier than before but the queue was well managed and we were served quickly. For best experience I recommend going earlier in the day!

Surprisingly, the best thing we ate were the potatoes. They were very savory. The next best were the mussels. There was a generous portion, and the flavor was decent. The artichokes were impossible to chew through and very salty. The meatballs were okay. Service was okay, had to ask a few times for water, which ended up coming after the food. Staff hygiene could be better.

Excellent food, not THE best but 5 stars. Service is good despite the super busy atmosphere. Get reservations but is worth the wait (there is a line). I sat inside to skip ahead in line. The atmosphere is kind of anxious and very busy. Prices are higher, but BIG portions, definitely made for sharing. Jacobo did a good job. All tourists, no locals This place had a 4.7 rating, they gave me a card to write a Google review as soon as I finished. Like I said, 5 stars, but I think the 4.7 rating might be inflated (.2 points maybe) by this practice of sending the customer to Google. It is very good nonetheless.

Food: there’s a lot of delicious food around Rome, and this is one of them. The Bufala cheese in the appetizers was a standout. I think you can find better pastas around but the pizzas were the star dishes. The artichoke starter was also a welcomed dish as well. It makes the wait for a table worthwhile (20-30 min). Service: the place is standout when it comes to its servers. They’re all super friendly and fun. You can also expect your food to land on your table very quickly after the long wait. Ambiance: the street is beautiful and the restaurant is incredibly big and spacious seating a lot of people. Keep in mind though that there’s a huge difference in the environment depending on if you sit inside or outside (depends on what you’re looking for). Pro Tip: Account for waiting time, sit outside if the weather is nice and skip the pasta.
