This place is awful. The room looks terrible doors hanging off hinges breakfast was cold even though we got down just as it started. Food was literally inedible. Staff screaming at each other with customers around and told to leave the bar they were closing at 8 o'clock do yourself a favour and don't stay here 130 euro 2 nights in something like this is nothing short of robbery

Spent here 5 nights with family. Good value for money. Beautiful surroundings. Smell from animals occasionally reaches rooms, but it's not too bad. Close to animals - kids were happy. Nice pool. Our room had several minor issues that could use fixing, but nothing that would prevent us from enjoying our stay. Good food. Looking forward to our next visit.

Nice restaurant in a superb setting on the slopes of Sidorovo, with a nice view over Ruzomberok in the direction of Krivan and the High Tatra's. Nice place also for other activities, like bowling.

Perfect accomodation, the host was so nice and unbelievably helpful. Nice, clean and cosy rooms and apartments, wellness center, gaming room, all you need for a very decent price. Delicious food and freshly prepared for you. Highly recommended.

Excellent traditional cuisine. It’s surrounded by beautiful nature, it’s the perfect place to recharge after a great hike. The service was very fast and the portions are very generous. They have a really good selection of basically all the traditional dishes. They even bake their own bread and it’s amazing. And they have a small brewery there, the beer was very good. Probably the best bryndzove pirohy we’ve ever had. Would definitely come back.

The food is okay, a little pricey for the quality, but that is to be expected at a touristic hotspot as " U dobrého Pastiera" is.

Great place, worth every cent. Great food, pleasant service. It’s nice to see a chef coming out to get fresh herb from small garden and later see them on your dish. And for those wanting something extra, there is a lonely tree with a swing in the middle of the hill right next to the terrace. Looks very romantic. Small zoo and playground for kids too!

Beautiful place, there is a playground for kids, small farm, good food and beer! I really recommend to visit this place.

If you're looking to experience authentic stay in Slovakia with super delicious freshly cooked home meal, look no further. Chalupkovo is the absolute top and the food at Zemianska kuria is to die for. We had venison feast yesterday - thighs from deer 🦌 and the meat was super tender and delicious, never had any better in my life. All thumbs up for Chalupkovo and Zemianska kuria restaurant!

Traditional meals and quick service. Pumpkin soup is beautiful, but schnitzel doesn't chase any award. There is quite a large playground near restaurant terrace. Empty and lonely space during our visit. Interior needs some new layout, seating arrangement, decoration, plants, visual dividers, more cuteness and warm hugging. Get rid of that cold nasty ceramic or whatever tiles.

Went for food here a few days ago with a few members of the family, first of all we were greeted by a happy smiling waitress who offered us a table in one of their quieter corners as the place was pretty busy. It wasn't long before the waitress came back and gave us menu's and took our drinks order. We all selected a pint or half of the Pilsners Urquell which is brewed in the restaurant and was of superb quality, for we food we ordered a gluten free pizza, teriyaki salmon and a chicken schnitzel all which was delivered within ample time and tasted great. Looking forward to our next visit.

A nice place in the middle of a neighborhood, we followed a sign from the road. Pleasant place, good service (even in English!), Very good food, fresh, tasty, generous dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes from different cuisines, all were great. Price was surprisingly cheap. Highly recommended.

Good place to have a dinner with beer) Pizza, pasta and salads were fresh and tasty. There is a children's corner with toys and trampoline. There was the only bad thing - smoking smell. There are all smoking rooms. And only one non-smoking corner :(

We had a really nice food and very good service in here. The place is beautiful and you can enjoy your food or drinks on the terrace and even bring your dog here.

Great food but the service was a bit slow. All round good experience though. Had one of the best soups of my life : )

Good traditional Slovak food although not cheap as for Slovakia (5-6 euro per main) , nice settings and good service. Cash only.

Was nice place to eat, but now the service is really really bad. You can't pay by card. Food like in any low class pub. We were totally disappointed. Don't even try to use toilet.

The only reason I want to go to ružomberok is this restaurant. We loved and enjoyed the food. The fact that we were able to split the pizza in two different flavors, and the chef's special was something memorable to me and my husband 😊

First of all, a great place nothing wrong about it, seems super family friendly and cozy, we had to sadly sit outside as it was packed but they had warm blankets and heat lamps to keep us warm! The only reason it doesn't get a five star is the food. They have a wide variety, from sushi to burgers and pizza, I myself took the pizza option but was slightly disappointed. I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to pizza and I'm fairly picky with the style. I like mine charred and thin, firm texture and hold, crunchy and packed with flavour, this one didn't have all of my requirements but was good non the less.

Great place for lunch. Restaurant is really kids friendly. Your child can choose the first or the second indoor playground. Meal is really tasty! 🤤 You can take some traditional slovak food, pizza, sushi… We had really delicious lunch. Prices are acceptable for the service. Staff was really kind. I appreciate it and I recommend to visit this restaurant.

We recently visited Slovakia for a family holiday. In town called Ruzembork you can find a this most amazing restaurant we would highly recommend. I mostly enjoyed the sushi served by the most friendliest lady called Jesika. We would be back for more thank you..

I brought my own vegan cheese and substituted olives & onions instead of cheese at no extra cost and they made a delicious vegan pizza! The garlic bread is vegan and so tasty. I do wish the red wine was room temperature - not cold…

Spacy, nicely designed restaurant with an open kitchen. A fact speaking for itself is that when we asked them to heat up a kids formula, they were helpful, apologizing to offer only a bowl of hot water, because they do bot even have a microwave. Which is, well, great! The service was very nice, prices pleasing and the food great.

We stopped here while on our way to Kosice - The only reason was because it looked nice. It was the best decision we made all day! This restaurant is traditionally Slovak in all possible ways. The food authentic, delicious and fresh! We hope to have the opportunity to stop there again one day. Thank you for one of the best meals we had in Slovakia!

Koliba offers traditional Slovak cousine. The food we ordered was great, tasty, and well-designed. We enjoyed the late lunch here, so it was empty, but normally is mostly crowd here.

Really nice place.. super nice atmosphere. As you can see in the pictures is a huge cabin.. they made their own cheese, beer & bread.. I had the traditional halusky and it was perfect 👍

Fine and good variety of dishes. Great atmosphere and with plenty space. It seems very good maintained building. We ordered soups and main course and everything was very tasty. Reasonable price and located in a very beautiful place. A good place to stop if you are passing by.

I had the best meal of my whole trip here! A traditional Slovak dish that Americans would drool over, slow cooked short ribs that were then crisped on the outside. Oooh! SOOOO good! The beautiful natural setting just adds to the quiet ambiance. One of the food highlights of my trip.

A very unfortunate experience at this place. We visited with it colleagues, the visit got organised by our office. With barely any interaction by staff they started serving food what was ordered and prepared beforehand. We were out the door by 8pm pretty disappointed. I wouldn't go there again.

Probably one of best restaurants that I eat in! A MAST PLACE! if you like cheese, rustic vibe and when getting the bill being so amazed that you drop a huge tip cos' it was so good! *And dog's lovers to boot.

Awesome restaurant (everything with regional ingredients of highest quality) in a beautiful farm. There's a tractor museum and you can visit see the animals, there's a small bakery and a cheese shop as well. Don't miss it!

Beautiful place with options to buy famous slovak cheese, cakes and much more. The restaurant is not that expensive although the menu is maybe limited according to someone.
