What a fantastic day the service was fast and the food was tasty and hot, most certainly I will go again.

For a restaurant attached to a sports centre, this is absolutely fantastic, the staff were very friendly and helpful, their menu has something to please everyone, we saw small private parties and a larger group all being catered for, our party had different meals and all came well presented and were very tasty. Well worth a visit.

Hello everyone, I visited this place today with my girlfriend. We were more than happy! Chris and her team served us excellent food with an excellent service! Coming from a background with hospitality and gastronomy you can tell the team behind Mare Nostrum puts a lot of love and effort into it. It happens not so often that well chosen dishes served by attentive people make me extremely satisfied and happy. Within this review I would love to give them a star more! Price-Value Ratio exceeds expectations by far!!! Thank you! 🙏🏽

Wow wow wow. What an amazing classy experience. This has to be one of the best restaurants on the island. I felt super privileged to be there. Food was absolutely first class with an amazing choice of Mallorcan wines. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My wife and I had the tasting menu with matching wines, although my wife cannot drink White wine, so the team made sure that red wine was substituted as appropriate. The food was absolutely fantastic and reminded us of Michelin starred restaurants we have experienced in our travels. The care and attention to detail in all dishes was exemplary.Such fine food. The staff were attentive, charming and delightful. So, full marks to all and we will be back!

Wow. After some huge gastronomic let downs on the island I have to say this one really caught my attention. From the outside you coudnt even tell its a restaurant. Eventhough it was probably the longest afternoon lunch Ive ever had, this was price-quality wise an absolute gem. We had 6 courses , an aperitivo, the most expensive bottle of red wine, water and twice the menu and we left with a 118 euros bill. Worth every second of waiting! The service was impeccable.nice,friendly and warm.If we had more time we would go back straight away!!! Happy to see quality is still present on the island!!! Thank you so much for this experience!

Wow, what a find! Lovely setting in the indoor courtyard, fabulous food and incredible value. Service was very friendly but not over the top and they were both (good) child and dog friendly. Already planning our return with family. Sa Pobla didn't seem particularly exciting, but for this restaurant it's definitely worth the visit, you won't be disappointed. (Update Dec 19 - just been for my 3rd visit for my wife's 40th and again the food didn't disappoint, lovely and cosy setting this time inside by the fire and fabulously friendly and attentive staff. This restaurant still sits as my top pick of set menu restaurants on the island - keep up the good work 👍👍)

A great place to enjoy a drink or a meal. There are tables outside on the plaza to dine and watch the world go by, or in cooler weather you can eat inside. There is a traditional oven where pizzas are cooked. A wide variety of dishes are on offer from salads to pizzas and pasta. A menu del día is on available too €11 for main, a drink and either dessert or coffee. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Sa Pobla.

Sit on the plaça and pick something from the extensive pizza and pasta items on the menu then sip on a beer or glass of wine while you wait. The dishes are well cooked, well presented, have some original combinations among the traditional and are served by really friendly staff. If you are in Plaza Major in Sa Pobla this restaurant is a must. The food is out of this world and the service is a high standard.

Cosy local bar/restaurant staff very pleasant and friendly, it's just a shame that if you sit outside, where there are plenty of well spaced tables, you are between two roads and although one is a slip road both are quite busy, put this out of your mind and you can enjoy some nice food or just a drink here.

Went to grab a coffee, and the whole bar was dirty. Service was bad as well.

Perfect place for the traditional "berenar", and for me the best frito in Sa Pobla. They also have really good meat on the weekends cooked on the barbecue. The two brothers (and owners) are super nice people also which makes it all the more special.

An authentic place where only locals go to have typical food from Sa Pobla to "berenar" (I would say breakfast, but because of the amount of food it can be understood as a brunch). On the one hand, I thought it was a pity they just had 3 dishes. On the other hand, this means that everything has been cooked on the spot.

If you are elderly, this is the right place for you. Good environment.

Hello. We visited this restaurant for lunch yesterday. Atmosphere was great, people was very kind and hospitable. Meals was delicious. I didn’t take a picture of duck with apples and honey((( but it was amazing 🤩 Thank you for everything!

Amazing little restaurant with great traditional Mallorquin food. Visited on our last night after being in Sa Pobla for six weeks and was disappointed not to have visited sooner. Owner was super friendly and the food was great. I highly recommend!

We were recommended restaurant Marina by our airbnb hosts. Glad to have tried it. Offers great selection of delicious and authentic Majorcan dishes, at reasonable prices. Wait staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend this cozy little restaurant.

A very cute family-owned restaurant run by 4 siblings. Vicent - one of the brothers - ran the front of house and was a very charming and welcoming host. He told us briefly of the restaurants history and made us feel at home. His sister prepared a hearty paella made from fish and meat broth. Beware the paella is quite heavy, but absolutely gorgeous. Vicent also advised that it’s a food more fitting for lunch. Nevertheless it was delicious. The photos and paintings, and all the small details in the interior tell a story of love and passion, the city and travels of the owners, which all contribute so much to the ambiance of the restaurant. At the end of our meal we felt more as if we had dined in Vicents family’s home, rather than a restaurant. The place is best recommended to those who want to experience a place that has a Mallorcan soul encaptured in it’s walls, rather than a touristy spot.

You cannot pay by card, they only accept cash. We ordered 4 medium assorted dishes, very good but the portion was poor (they barely filled the plate). The medium ones are worth 9 euros. We also ordered banderillas, very tasty too but we found them expensive, 12 banderillas 9 euros.

This really is a local bar/restaurant, with many locals enjoying their menu del dia or just calling in for a drink or two on their way home from work, well worth a visit, the owners are real characters. Just celebrated 100 years of the same family running it.

The real deal in a local fashion. This is definitely a place to have some breakfast that rocks your socks.

Great if you want simple menu of the day. And so convenient if you are waiting for some washing to be done across the road in the launderette!

Amazing good value for food

Popped in for menu of the day which was great value , food wasn’t the best but as this was a fixed menu for just £15 or so which came with wine and desert , i cant be too critical. Rice had an unusual ras el hanout flavour which wasn’t expected. Great service and locally owned so will be back to try the main menu.

This place is really really good and worth. The owner Toni is a wonderful person always taking care of the customer's needs. Never had a problem with my allergy, they adapt all the dishes for me. It's value for money!!! Food is lavish.

We are not strangers to Sa Fortaleza but we haven't been for a while. For a small bar restaurant we had a superb meal. The ceasar salad starter was amazing. The ingredients gave us a huge range of taste and a lot on the plate. I had their pork loin in an apple sauce with delicious chips. I meant to ask if they were air fried because they were so good. All this, plus a delicious Rueda white wine served very cold. Toni, you and your family do us proud. Gracias

Great place for “Variats”! The waiters are lovely, very friendly! The food’s great, fresh, and drinks were unexpectedly tasty as well. The cocktails as well, pleasant surprise which we enjoyed a lot!
