I've been to this restaurant twice. I ate pasta and pizza. Food very good. I recommend. As for the service, I think that the waitress should inform about the very long waiting time for the meal before taking the drink order. If I had known that the waiting time for a pizza was over an hour, I would not have decided to stay in this restaurant.

Nicely looking place, we had pasta, pizza, chicken and tomato sup and all was really good. Prices are higher but reflects what you get.

It took them 40mins to make 2 portions of pasta and the restaurant wasn't full there were a few tables occupied. Pasta was ok - not the best but 3/5⭐ pizza looked way better We had teramisu was great and pana cotta - strawberry part was too liquid and pretty sour, cream was delicious.

Food was ok, but nothing special. No service, just putting the plate on my table, that’s it. Nobody was asking me if I liked it or If I need something else. So I remained thirsty and without coffee in the end. This is not the first time experiencing poor service.

We were here with family on Saturday during the lunch time. Place itself is really nice (inside and outside sittings all made of wood). We did not take the steaks, what is obvious options and rather stay with local food (goulash, dumplings with poppy seeds,) and all was really good. Regarding prices, they are definitely higher comparing to other restaurants, but it’s definitely nice place to go with good quality of food and great serves.

If you want to relax after a bit bicycle tour, this is the place for relaxing. It’s kind of hard to find, but there is one of the last gates is open. Overall, the atmosphere here is relaxing. When you want to drink some coffee they have a pillows to sit on. If you want to eat, they have normal tables too. The environment is nice to look on. No loud cars and roads. Because this place belongs to Xbionic, you need to prepared for the pricey prices for food and drinks.

So we have been there several times... So all the food is still 8-9/10, BUT 1: if it should be a steak house, there should be more than ONE STEAK.. so it's NOT A STEAK HOUSE in my opinion... 2: serving beef tatare without a fresh grind pepper mill is sad.. would be easy to make it wonderful. 3: you should mention if a dish is not like on the menu.. if it says Rösti, and You get smashed peas cream... i liked it, but it might be that one takes another dish.. I would prefer, that you get back to the roots and become a steak house again... Different steak types, chateaubriand, ribs, surf&turf, mix plate...

Not serious restaurant whatsoever. Porcini risotto completely sweet and with zero mushroom taste. Three of us complained that it is not good but staff insisted that it is as it should be. Manager did not find time to speak to us. We had to pay for also for returned food.

Amazing Food and Service, Fantastic Value We were staying about 20 minute drive outside Bratislava, in a small town called Samorin. A great, quiet area. Now, who would want to go to a Scottish Pub in Slovakia? Well, trust me, you do. Besides the fact that it was 5 minutes’ walk from where we were staying, they really have wonderful food and drinks, and great service. There were two young ladies who were taking care of us, one of them spoke fairly good English. Both were very attentive and helpful. Moreover, the dishes were very reasonably priced and even though we ordered a ton of stuff, our final bill was only 66 euro. For drinks we got a Berry Lemonade, House Red and Mulled Red Wine, as well as Black Currant juice; al the drinks were great and we repeated the round. We tried their French Onion Soup, it had a great flavor and was very tasty, as well as their Fish Soup, which a very light tomato base and a chuck of fish in it, be advised that there were bones in that fish, so eat with care. The most expensive dish we ordered was a Steak (still it was under 20 euro), generous portion thereof and perfectly prepared. We like our meat medium rare, and the chef did not disappoint. The side dishes are ordered a la cart, and we ask for the steak to be served with crockets, which were a little different, cute and round, tasted great! And a Potato pancake, which did not at all look like a typical latke, but and actual large pancake, it was delicious. We also ordered Duck Breast with the side of Au gratin Potatoes, It was tender and juicy, very delicious orange sauce. Also we had a mushroom risotto, which was delightful, had plenty of mushrooms and was perfectly al dente. The meal was amazing. I wish we stayed longer in the area to come back for more.

I found this restaurant on Google randomly yesterday so we stopped by. It's a very nice cosy place not too busy, there is a good parking outside. Food was great as well as service. Prices are reasonable and there is a long menu to choose from 👍 Negative was only that you can't pay with card 🤦🏻‍♂️ in 2023 it's ridiculous

This was my first time here, and it was for a large family birthday lunch of nearly 20 people. From the outset the atmosphere was super warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and the service great. The food was really good and the caramel pancakes were a big hit with everyone. Very much recommended.

The food in this restaurant is not great but acceptable or not bad. Now the service is awful. I was there for dinner but they had only available a low coffee table so we said that if they didn't have space we would just understand and leave. They said that by the time we get yhe food they would provide a table so we accept. However when the food arrived the waitress wanted us to eat in the tiny table. I wanted to leave but my wife asked 2 other customers in a big table of we could sit there, which I think it was an error. However, we started eating, I was very uncomfortable but what make it worst was the staff laughing and commenting on how greatly their horrible approach and service mistake was solved. It was humiliating and very tasteless. I don't speak Slovak so I wasn't understanding what was happening until my wife explained it later. I wasn't able to eat my food and left it almost all in the plate and the waitress, who seem to be the manager, came almost not able to hold the laughing and ask me how was my food. This happened maybe a year ago from this review and the only reason why I write this now os because someone ask me to go there because they have nice reviews. This people don't respect their clients or have a sense of proper customer service. Don't visit if you have standards.

I am beginning to get very disappointed. I have loved this restaurant for a long time, and have visited many times with friends. However, lately it's just been going downhill. The servers are very rude, people neglected and the some orders are just pure confusion. Of course if you are going with your family, will not be paying separately and do not plan on ordering any special drinks, then go ahead, visit this place, their food has stayed relatively good - and their pizzas are one of the better ones in this town. However, their service is beginning to crumble. The first thing that upsets me is people being ignored. For example, last time i was here with my friends, one of them ordered a drink, it was supposed be 80ml, but honestly it looked like 30ml, maximum, there was barely any in the cup. Of course she drank it quickly, and then she was never served again. We saw a waitress just standing, looking around in a room, then moving somewhere else multiple times, but she never came to our table again until we asked to pay. The second thing that upsets me is that drinks change depending on who is serving you. Sometimes you get a martini in a whisky cup, sometimes in a martini glass. Sometimes you get the whole amount, sometimes you get just barely half the amount. Sometimes they say they don't serve olives with martinis, sometimes it comes without asking. This goes for other drinks as well. And the third one - Paying separately. For ages me and my friends have always paid separately. Sometimes it still is possible, although more and more often when we ask a waiter to pay separately, they just answer with a "no" while going away and bringing the whole check to us. We all know it's possible, but they just don't care.

The server understood i wanted food to take away paying by cash but when i took my card out he said i had to go withdraw money or i would not have the food.... after arguing someone else came to do another receipt by card. Food was a bit pricey and i had a hair in my halusky.....

No experience of the hotel itself, but we stopped for lunch on the terrace with our dog. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The waiter was very good even ensuring our dog had ample water on a hot day.

Didn't stay in the hotel, just had coffee, which was very good. Service was brilliant. It was acold day, but we wanted to sit on the terrace, and we were given blankets for our legs. Nice touch.

We visited only the restaurant, but what a shame! The food (trout and burger) was actually pretty tasty, but the overall experience was terrible, courtesy of an inept and amateurish staff. First, they advised us we will wait 20 minutes for the trout to be served, which was fine. However, at the end it was 1 hour until they served the food! The burger was undercooked so we had to send it back to the kitchen and it was another 15 minutes of waiting. In addition, we weren't advised that the sauce in the burger was spicy, so we had to send it back again! Btw, we ordered the regular burger, not the spicy one. To top it off, on two consecutive occasion the waiters brought us beverages that were intended for other tables. Utter chaos! Such a joke of an establishment and a text book example of incompetence. At least we were offered a 10% discount from the bill.

Really good hotel, in a perfect place on Danube river banks. Idyllic settings and romantic river walks right across it and guaranteed. Nearby Bratislava: 30 minutes drive to the city. Very friendly, always helpful professional and accomodating staff. There is wellness part at the hotel too. Good restaurant and tasty breakfast. Its a big property with the corridors bit like a labyrinth, but you will get used to it. Staying here recommended, will stay again!

The single room was someting similar one Capsula Hotel. Hotel very old, no courtesy set but emply shampoo bottle on the shower. Noise of dogs every morning from 4.00 tu 7.00 am.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. While some dishes didn't quite hit the mark, there were some highlights worth mentioning. The garlic soup was extraordinary. On the other hand, potato dumplings with sheep cheese and bacon, unfortunately, didn't blend well together with pork, which was tough and sore. .The steak tartare also left much to be desired, but the bread and fish were satisfactory. On the other hand, the goulash was amazing, bursting with flavours that delighted my taste buds. The liver, however, didn't quite live up to expectations in terms of taste. One aspect that stood out was the exceptional service provided by our waitress. She was attentive, and caring, and went out of her way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Her personalized approach fits our preferences well, though I understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea. The atmosphere was lovely, with just the right level of music volume, and the staff was genuinely helpful and eager to assist. The cleanliness of the place was also commendable. Overall, while there were some misses with the food, the outstanding service and pleasant ambience made up for it to a large extent. It's a place worth considering, especially for goulash lovers, but keep in mind that taste preferences may vary.

Really tasty Slovak-Hungarian cuisine. The food was very well prepared and from quality ingredients. Wish there was a Hungarian csarda like this in the center of Bratislava 🙂

It’s an authentic restaurant with interior in traditional/vernacular style. The food is good, I had a “Wiener” schnitzel (veal escalope) and Halászlé (traditional Hungarian fish soup) and it couldn’t be better. The prices are a bit too high for Slovakian standards.
