This place will forever have a special place in our hearts. We stopped here for breakfast on our way from Alghero to Cagliari. Great Cafe is a beautiful place with an elegant, cozy interior and a wide range of excellent food. We tried a salty and sweet breakfast; everything was fresh and exceptionally delicious. Excellent service; everyone was so lovely; they made everything possible to made us fell we are welcome here. Such a magical experience. We left with a feeling that this was THE place to visit as the last one on our way back. In Cagliari, we discovered we had left some documents in the Cafe. In that stress, we called back, and Roberto M. answered the call and offered us such incredible help; he offered to arrange to send documents to our country, visiting shipping companies in his free time, etc... I'm sure that the name "Great" Cafe is authentic thanks to people like Roberto - with humanity, willingness, and kindness. This place will definitely be the first place we visit when we return to Sardegna.

Definetly worth a visit! Came off the ferry early in the morning and stopped at this place. Plenty of parking around the area, also for RVs. The have delicious pastries, sandwiches and of course great italian coffee at very affordable prices. Many locals come here as well, which is usually a good sign.

Had breakfast here with the fam once. The place is a little loud and besides a few breads (tried the focaccia) there’s mostly candy. Coffee creations are awesome and the staff at the counter was helpful and friendly.

Great place .. loved the food. There is the buffet for only 8eruo and so much food and even fruits and desserts.. and the service was good too and free wifi

Had Sunday lunch here outside, mixed grilled seafood: 3 big prawns, squid, tuna and swordfish. Frankly enough for 2 and delicious. Read some reviews about the staff. My advice generally is to smile, be polite, do your best and be patient but assertive. It's busy, they're stressed, just chill.

We went st the Ristorante Il Borgo for the first time ever. It is beautiful and we ate lunch at the buffet. Huge selection of fresh food. A lot of variety of fresh fish we never had before. Very inexpensive place compare to the quality of the food. We certainly be back to enjoy another lunch at the buffet or dinner a la carte

Food is fabulous, fresh, tasty, and presentation was lovely too. We were looked after so well.. Really pleased with everything. Highly recommended 👍👏

Used to he my favourite place in town, but ice realized that they treat customers who tend to not come back (aka tourists) in a VERY different way, e.g. give different wine and charge for coperta for babies (Italian babies they do not charge)

Nice place to eat inside a large shopping center. The menu is fairly extensive, and the prices are good value. Our group had a mixture of items like Chicken wings, Burgers, Steaks and Sharing platters. Drinks are a little expensive at €4.50 for a Coke, but the burgers were only €10-13. Overall we enjoyed our time here. One slight disappointment was the bacon on one of the burgers, it was horrible! It certainly wouldn't put me off returning though.

Well, high potencial, nice concept but lack of service and quality. You see several people around but have more fun with less interest for customers. The food except the meat was fine . Meat (most important thing of burger) was overcoocked and probably frozen, without taste... For that qualiry better go to mc donalds for half of price with faster service. Now I know why was that place emty oposite of full mc donalds on basement.

Definitely one of the most memorable dinners I had during my time in Sassari. The food was exceptional with rich taste and it was beautifully arranged. This is a must for anyone who enjoys local food. Since it is in a vault it can get a bit noisy at times.

Friday night, the place was packed but the service was still good. I didn't come here with the idea of eating a pizza but their gourmet pizza section was very appealing and the (forgot its name) pizza with courgette cream, caramelised red onion and buffalo mozzarella was a spectacular combination, on a perfectly executed pie. The Irish picanha with roasted potatoes was excellent as well (although a bit over market price in Sassari). However, no regrets. A great dinner.

Great food. The steak I had was really delicious, very tender. The tiramisu as one of my favorite desserts was a great choice, also delicious, 100% mascarpone. The patio inside is quite nice. Service could be better, as a foreigner staff kept talking to me in Italian even noticing I don’t speak the language, I managed to just pointing things at the menu (menu in Italian only also) but they could be friendlier or at least show some openness if they don’t speak English. A little bit overpriced but the food worth it.

We had the tomahawk which was very tasty and well cooked. Location is quite good and staff is friendly and attentive.

Very nice dinner place in Sassari! Best to make a reservation as it’s full! Amazing dishes, the snails are not to miss and we also liked the porchetta a lot. Portions are huge but prices not, so great value for money!

One of the best restaurant we had the pleasure to have dinner in. Unfortunately it is necessary to book your table at least one day before. We were rejected twice because the restaurant was fully booked and we did not have the reservation. Traditional food is really good, great and fresh ingredients, generous portions. Good balance between cost and quality. The "Maialetto" is absolutely a MUST. Is is one of the BEST ever eaten in Sardegna.

For meat lovers only. Great traditional Italian restaurant. Great service and wine recommendation from the owner. Atmospheric location, which you will not find unless you know it's here.

Beautiful space for eating typical Sassarese food....like Snails, Horses, Donkeys among many others. Has got an internal hall and open air space.

Authentic local cuisine! Italians are so much more than Pasta and Pizza... we had snails, broad beans with pancetta, grilled donkey & horse served on cork plate, and a bottle of excellent red wine Cannonau for just €67

This restaurant has so many food options. I tried pizza and calamari with fries and salad. They were delicious. And very big portions. I definitely recommend it.

We came across this restaurant while walking close to our hotel. No reservation but they accommodate us at 8pm. The restaurant was absolutely full by 8.30. Frederica welcomed us and helped us to order food speaking good english. My soon had pizza margarita, my daughter penne with salmon and me beef tagliata with salad but I also ordered penne arbiatta. Tagliata was one of the best ever I have with meet perfectly cooked with sauce like port sauce. Arbiata perfect. Salmon pasta more salmon than normally expected and really good pizza and pizza bread offeeed on the side. Frederica was great waiter and the service was superb on a very hot evening! If in the area will return!

The food was delicious, I ate a horse steak (medium) and it was a dream. The personnel was friendly, only the waitress wasn‘t that fluent in english, so she needed to get a colleague to help her with questions regarding a wine card.

Service extremely slow, bathroom ALWAYS dirty. Waiting for our food over 15 min with no people in front of us. Simple asking like no ice never works there. I always need to change my milkshake as ordering the strawberry one is too much for them to handle. Place definitely needs better management

The screen was down again so you have to listen out for your number which is hard over the chatter. The menu is slightly different to the UK which is a nice change.

I had a really disappointing experience overall. First, the tacos were completely bland—no flavor in the meat, just a huge letdown. Then came the hamburger, which was somehow served without bread. How does that even happen? A hamburger without a bun is just a sad pile of ingredients. On top of that, I had pasta the previous night, and even that wasn’t great. Overall, the food here seems poorly prepared and uninspired. Definitely not a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a decent meal.

We arrived and thought the place was cute and nice, sat down to order the waitress was EXTRA rude, we wanted our nachos and tacos first, she decided that no she wants to bring everything together which she did and we have to wait A LOT and had to eat the tacos and nachos cold! Also the food was TERRIBLE the meat was tasteless, nachos were old not crispy and the taco shell was soggy! And let’s not talk about the shitty desert! I would NOT recommend unless you want to throw away money! The place is super duper over priced for the quality of food.

Good restaurant at Sassari downtown. The food was delicious. I’ve ordered some pasta and it was terrify. The tiramisu is wonderful and enough for two, don’t miss it. The outside seating area is very nice on summer. Staff was very friendly the only point was if took a long time to bring the bill. A place I recommend a visit while visiting Sassari.

We had lunch here last weekend, and the food was great, the waiters nice to us and their deserts worth a try. Great atmosphere and delicious food.

Service was incredible! Roberto was very friendly but not pushy, just excellent! He had good recommendations. Everything came very fast and pizza was delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by the caprese salad as the burrata was very flavorful and had great texture. Deserts are amazing too!

The pizza is very special! And very good. Recommend "non per principiante" if you like it hot! The impasto is perfect as I like the pizza. You get more dolce then you can eat. Il cameriere è molto gentile e disponibile e fa di tutto per far sentire gli ospiti a proprio agio. Music could be a little bit louder to hear it every in the restaurant but perhaps this one don't like all guest so it's no real downside! Very recommended.

We went to La Roccia for dinner, five of us. A lovely Roberto was looking after us very well. The atmosphere was great, a very elegant place and most important delicious food. The pizzas were scrumptious. The kids were treated with some sweets and some traditional Sardinian pudding which was also delicious. Overall a great experience. Duly recommend

The waiters were all very friendly, willing to help and suggesting the food if in doubt. The ambient was really nice and decorated in the Christmas spirit. Pizzas were great and they did arrive under 10 minutes.

This is the second time we have enjoyed the KOKO experience. As this is an all-you-can-eat restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of carefully presented dishes with very good taste and quality for the money. We highly recommend the house wine, which the restaurant sources from a local vineyard. They seem to update the menu regularly, as we had a different selection of special evening dishes to our first visit. We will definitely be back!

The quality of the food and experience is definitely better than Yumi Sushi. However, it is slightly more expensive and we felt deceived as the desserts were included in the physical menu with all other dishes (beverages were not on the physical menu) and only later we realized that they are charged additionally and we had to pay an extra 14€ for desserts we ordered, thinking they were part of the all-you-can-eat deal. It was clear from the start that beverages were not included. The menu on the tablet for ordering was slightly disorganized, as we could not easily find some dishes under the given categories like on the physical menu. We suggest to have the dishes simply arranged by numbers so it’s easier for customers to place the orders.

We went with 12 people and thought of having a nice evening. The weidress even gave us the advice to order with one phone so we all would get our food together. But that's where the nice evening ended. Every single plate took at least 20 minutes to come. Half of the order they even forgot. Someone of us had to wait literally 2 hours till her food arrived. We didn't eat together we had to share our orders to eat something atleast. After we complained they were finally able to bring some plates together and the owner or manager (i don't know who he was) apologized atleast but it still left a bad impression and next time we try somewhere else
