Average experience. Here for just 1 night 1 April. Restaurant is closed. When they say check in from 4pm they mean it. The hotel is closed until then. Bathrooms smell like an open drain. Rooms were quite cold. Check out 9:30 am. Breakfast consists mainly of packaged items. Rolls, cheese and ham and some fruit available. Coffee from the machine was good and the saving grace. The advertised pool belongs to someone else and costs €20pp for 2 hours. For what we paid I feel ripped off.

In the center of Tarvisio, ideal for going to Mangart + view from our window! Wealthy breakfast included. Our bikes could be locked overnight!

I really don't know how this can be a 3 star hotel. it seems more like poorly managed airbnb. first of all, there is no check in at time range written in booking but they leave keys in the envelope outside at the windowsill (so technically anyone can grab them). there is no staff on site in the afternoon. there is no ventilation in the bathroom so the mold is everywhere. next to bed u got a socket but it is used by the small lamp so u can either charge ur phone or use the lamp... our socket was hanging from the wall, wires were visible... it is simply dangerous. oh I almost forgot, if u wish to have your towels changed u need to pay extra 5€ per change (which is a normal free of charge service in any other hotel). there supposed to be code protected doors but they were not working (u could open without code). for disabled people there is a "lift" that can slide them to the first floor but in order to reach it u need to first go through quite big step which seems ridiculous. parking spaces are private but on the street. Neighbors were using some very smelly wood to heat their houses so it was impossible to leave open window because u got instantly smell of bonfire at ur room pity that they only relly on the location but don't really care about quality or service. Would never go again even for half price.

Comfy hotel in the heart of Tarvisio. The location is undoubtedly good. It is just a few steps away from everything. We did not have time to experience a meal at their restaurant but the breakfast was exceptional. It says Italian in the description but Italians can live on that breakfast for a fortnight. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. There even was a coffee machine in ours. I am simply not used to it. Overall it was a positive experience, ai wish we had more time to spend. Maybe next time...

the food is very good, there are a few dishes but with an extremely good taste, I recommend asking the staff to give you the opportunity to taste everything, they have this option on the menu. Very good cuisine and services. Congratulations 😊

The food was excellent and the service was really friendly and always smiling. Good atmosphere and generally a great place to stop for a first meal when travelling into Italy.

Exelent place, I recomend if like slow food and delicious flavors! Arrive at 19:00 to have time for everything. Taste the house wine.

Fantastic lunch on the stop in lovely winter Tarvisio. All three pasta tasted great , wine was fine, atmosphere with locals very nice. Best of all very nice waiters - smiling italian ladies . Grazie !

The place are nice. Located in the quiet side of Tarvisio. Mostly only local peoples are there. The food are so goos, came in a big portion and super delicious.

Had a nice afternoon meal today at Al lepre.. Perhaps not the best view, but the friendliness and authentic Italian atmosphere is a relief. The food was really tasty, especially the lasagna with mushrooms and the cheese/meat board. The service is extremely friendly. So feel free to try it out. You will not be disappointed.

I totally recommend this place, the ambient is cozy and warm, the staff very nice and the food was delicious!

The tuna tartar was excellent and I would recommend. The main dish was good. The desert was the worst cake, I have ever ate. It is extremely dry and the only explanation would be that it was baked at least 1 week ago. When we politely said something about the cake, she ignored it because she knew how bad it was. Just don't serve food that you wouldn't eat yourself and on top of it, don't charge it full price when you are fully aware how garbage the food is. The overall service is unsatisfactory.

Great food, but slow service. Unfortunately the spaghetti with ansjovis was also a bit on the salty side - but overall enjoyed our stay here! Friendly staff and great tiramisu

good coffee, tasty wine, tasty tiramisu, but.... spare ribs were so fatty, also fatty fried potatoes, it's terrible, I think McDonalds is better. We've returned it, was not possible to eat that. And 3 eur COPERTO..., be ready for this:)) I don't like it, I prefer to decide by myself how much to tip. It depends from service and food quality, but not 20% automatically.

The waiters were extremely rude, all of them. We ordered very quick but our dish arrived 1 and a half hour later. And over all of them we haven't got the right food. The waiter shouted to us and didn't change it. Of cors they counted service fee...they DON'T deserve it. I can't recommend it.

Love this place, best pizza I've had in Italy where I've lived for nearly 3 years. Amazing service. It's become my favorite place to eat pizza since first time I tried it. We usually order two different from the menu and share, favorites are the house's and the strudel. Highly recommended!!!

What a great experience! It is a simple place but with incredibly nice staff, great pizzas, semolina dumplings on potato frittata bed. The waitress was incredibly nice. This woman speaks several languages! Many locals come to eat, I think it is a great sign of quality of food and service. I highly recommend!

This was our second time in the restaurant. Unfortunately, I have no recollection of the first experience, but since there was still a star pin on it I thought it wouldn't disappoint us. This time we took two friends with us and the overall consensus on the quality of food and service was positive. Our visit was on a weekday evening. Tarvisio was empty enough that day, so it was not a surprise to find the place serving only a couple of locals. I think the first time we were directed to a table in a corner because it was quite crowded inside. Anyways, this way the food arrived quickly. After the mix cold cuts, including a few little vegetable touches, which made us all very happy with the amount and taste, I chose to go with fish ravioli. In the meantime tasted a Friulane Pizza, Mushroom Tagliatelle, and if I'm not mistaken a deer stew from the others. The beer is also good, we went directly for the integrale, but I like that they also have a Radler in the menu, which is a priority for one of our friends. I do wish to be frequenting Tarvisio as much as possible during my stay in Italy, so I think Tschurwald will always be there on the map with a star pin.

Lovely restaurant situated in a good location. As expected the pizzas were amazing and reasonably priced. Pizza oven was used so that's a plus! Recommended to visit!

A good place to enjoy unfriendliness and waiting. 1. We waited to get a table, to order, to get food or to pay for one hour in total at least. 2. Waitresses didn’t pay attention to us and even if you ask them, they answered as if it was wrong to ask them how long it takes. Instead of serving, they chatted to takeout customers all the time. 3. All the other three tables were waiting to pay or order but it took forever for the waitresses to come. A sign of “you need to take your time to get pizza here” on the door could help customers to know what they’ll feel. Self service would be even more convenient and enjoyable. Pizzas we had were good so thanks to the pizzaiolo, this place gets 1 star. Unbelievable new experience after we visited countless pizzarias in Italy.

I woul say it was a nice place. Clean especially. Maybe the rooms were not so equipped or fancy looking but it was roomy and everything you need. Also breakfast was very decent although quite sweet but that's an Italian way of breakfast I guess?

We were at resturant very often.we never need to reserve the place.very good pizza,nice environment, very nice waitresses that make you feel happy to be there.

Great view, second home feeling, alpine style heart motive decor, all in all very clean and nice gentle staff. Breakfast is also satisfying thanks for having us! In 20meters famous cafés, sunny terraces… Hot tip: the butcher store infront take some Italian sapori to your home. ♥️

Nice rooms and really friendly and helpful staff. Gave us some breakfast after we missed it and helped us with a lift to the station

Hotel is nice, but neighborhood is very loud, rooms are okay nothing special more 2 star then 3, breakfast is also nothing special, we want after two nights in Kranjska Gora hotel Alpina also 3 star hotel and it was big difference… The best thing about this place is pizza, that was really good

Last time we were there, it was really really good. Food is awesome, stuff was kind, the boss is just the best! We didn't speak the same language but we still understood each other, he recommended drinks, we just wanted to stay there. Today it was different.. The waiter was really rude before we even ordered.. We ordered drinks, he rolled his eyes, he didn't come when we called him, he just lifted a finger, and forgot about us. He acted like he just wanted us gone as soon as possible... Girls, the boss, the food and the younger waiter are great though =)

Lovely hotel. Only marked down on service as it was very quiet, us and one other guest, so wasn't much going on(restaurant closed for example). But the service we did receive was very friendly. Very welcoming to our dogs too. Good location to access Tarvisio, and the ski lift. Short drive to the cable car.

I was there more for the Pizza Since my Colleagus recommendes this place. We drive from villach which was 25min drive and that was delicious Pizza. It is Overall one of the best Pizza around this Region. Avoid any Pizzeria in Villach and come here. Price is chepaer and Pizza is awesome.

We had lunch today there. The place was a bit crowded but we had no problem getting a table. Pizzas were delicious and the service was good overall. This is a good option and a quick drive if you are in Kranjska Gora and want to avoid the bad service and ridiculous prices of this town.

The service was so bad it was beyond believe, like we were in a bad movie. Being treated like an animal. We left immediately when the waiter threw the cutlery on the table for us. Horrible place. Do not go here.

Literally like you step into the local Italian restaurant from the movies. The waiters is the best! We ordered a cappuccino and she gave our little girl also a coup of milk so she can drink with us. The food is great, i would recommend to stop by and pick something to eat.

Nice pizzaria and restaurant with an almost incredible portfolio of pizzas. Never saw that before. And the taste great. At least the ones we chose. The staff is nice, fast, and friendly. The place is worth the money.
