Interesting atmosphere, but average food. I went quite late and it appeared the folk band were no longer playing. But traditional music still playing. Had the grilled pork neck, which came with local sheep's cheese and baked potato. Reasonable portion, but would've appreciated some more vegetables or salad. Prices are standard for the area. Not too high and not too low.

A brilliant restaurant with a great atmosphere and food that matches. The atmosphere was great due to the live three-piece band and the beautiful wooden decorations - including a very cool hanging sled. The food matched this interior and was very tasty, I highly recommend any of the dishes including the local oscypek cheese, it’s really good. Our waitress was very friendly and kind to our group, who butchered the menu with our terrible Polish pronunciations (we’re English speakers) - she spoke very good English, helped us out and even gave us some tips for pronouncing Polish! I had one starter, one main and 2 cocktails for about 120PLN - so good going for the vast quantity of food consumed plus drinks!

What makes this place special- the atmosphere! There is live music everyday and the band is actually good. The choice of food is good as you can find some of the most authentic Polish dishes. I have tried stake (not authentic and not so good). Zurek, kielbasa etc delicious. I would give it 5* but going for 4* due to the customer service. The place looked understaffed first of all. Staff is literally running around this place- at times this can look chaotic. Secondly I observed some of the staff members communicating between each other (using a signs) if customers have money or not (if they are rich or average- I’m guessing it depends what table you will get.. Also you must take into consideration the queue- I suggest going early as I witnessed numbers of approx. 20 people outside the door on average when passing by or eating inside the place. I would still recommend this place as the live music makes up for the rest. Food is also great if you pick from the selection of the authentic Polish dishes rather then other things. The menu is already translated to English. We stayed in Zakopane for 4 days and ate here twice. It all depends what you are looking for essentially.

Stopped in for a bite before traveling back to Warszawa. The server was attentive and very personable. My husband and I ordered cappuccinos, garlic soup, and czarlotka. Everything was delicious and fresh. The highlander atmosphere was charming and very appealing. Definitely worth the stop!

Great place to stay in Zakopane. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty as well as dinner. Rooms with balcony are good size. Also great hotel for family with children, lots of attractions for children

Wonderful Hotel, just outside the bustling town. Built to fit in with the expert wood craftsmanship of the region but still modern. Rooms are well laid out spacious. Best breakfast buffet in town. Staff are helpful and polite.

Not a bad place but pool is super noisy and not enjoyable due to the amount of kids yelling and running around. Rooms could use some renovation. Sometimes it feels a bit understaffed (reception not picking up or forgetting to pass on errand to bell boy).

Went for brunch there and the restaurant was not busy yet. The servers were helpful and the service was great. The local craft beer was awesome and served in freezing cold pint glass. But the highlight of the meal belongs to the beef ribs, which was cooked to perfection, falling off from the bone easily, not to mention that the portion was huge. Highly recommendable

Great atmosphere here with good beer selections. The beef ribs were great, and the baked potato with the cottage cheese was fantastic. The beef dish with horseradish and ewes cheese left much to be desired and was not what we expected. It was just "ok," if I'm being generous.

We hopped in for a lunch. The atmosphere is nice and matches local standards with some open - air fire, nice details and wooden furniture. The beer selection is quite wide and they serve that in 1L glasses too. The service was poor. We had to wait a lot for our drinks. Stressed waitresses nearly shouting at us to move away, etc. All the problem we caused was that we wanted to split the bill... This was awkward and upsetting... The waitress directly lied to me that it's not possible... After 3 questions she managed to perform this pretty simple task. Not recommended.

We went inside as we loved the view, I guess that’s what attracts most people who are tourists and don’t know the area. The interior design is very beautiful! We ordered coffee (cappuccino & black) and after trying black coffee we decided not to order anything else as it was really bad, we couldn’t even finish it halfway. It’s a pity for such a place… the owner/manager should pay more attention to this. The bathrooms are clean. The menu is very large and includes breakfast options, different fish, meat, etc. Not sure if I should advise this place

I ordered chicken breast from grill with cranberry sauce. The chicken was dry and instead of the sauce, I got jam. There is no side dish to the meat, so you have to order it separately. I ordered surowki from the Swedish table. It was not very clean. There are much better places to eat in Zakopane. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Amazing pork ribs and grilled oscypek. Pork steak was okay. Meat was slightly tough in the middle. Sauce flavor and potatoes with sour cream was very good. It went well with hot mead drink. Portion size is good. Prices are usual in that region.

As a meat lover this was the worst rib eye stek which I ever ate . Before decide which restaurant I could eat a good meet ,I would like to check the other comments and restaurant score 4.4 avarage from more then 8000 people .To be honest shocked when I took my first piece considerng recommendation .. Sorry guys , maybe other dishes could be ok but don’t waste your even 1zl for this dish which restaurant called rib eye stek 😁Please see in photos the amount of fat at the side of my plate so you could understand why I gave this 1 point.

Ordered a Rib Eye steak. Price was reasonable but it was a very fatty cut of steak and came with frozen fries and burger sauce, garlic sauce and tomato sauce smothered all over the side. Not a great Steak experience for a steak restaurant. Wouldn't come back.

This steak house can be found right in the centre of Zakopane. Steaks served are cooked properly and prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is lively and during my visit a string quartet played live music. Definitely recommend if you are looking for some grilled meat

Very nice experience, tasty food, big portions, nice staff and rustic decorations. The apple pancakes are very good. We paid 217 zloti for a starter, two main courses, a dessert and drinks.

A surprise package while at Zakopane. The ambience took me back a few decades. It was brilliant and loved the place and the way it was set up. The food was fantastic. The sauerkraut soup and the winter tea is highly recommended. Try to spend some time while you are there as it allows one to enjoy the traditional food and ambience. Its only walkable distance from the furnicular station.

The quickest service we got so far, big portions of tasty food, live music and songs. This is great place to visit to dring few beers eating classic Polish food, on a pace you want.

I ate pork cheeks with potato pancakes + apple pie with ice cream and it was everything delicious :) I came alone for a solo trip in June and at 7 pm the restaurant had plenty of space to sit. The food tasted like home, really recommend the place. Staff spoke English and there’s English menus. There’s also a group of guys playing traditional polish music, but it’s not very loud so it’s very nice.

Everything very tasty and large portions. The waiter was very kind and accomplished all ourr requests. The only thing is that the beefburger was overcooked. We had perfect pork knuckle and grilled trout.

There is a queue for one good reason - this restaurant has a brilliant atmosphere and very tasty food! As we went on a rainy day, there was much less of a queue, but even so it would have been worth a longer wait. The live band brought a lively vibe, the waiters were very friendly and the food was delicious! I cannot recommend this place more.

there was about a 20min wait for a table as it was busy but worth it. We ordered the meat dumplings and they were delicious. We also ordered salmon, ribs and potato cakes with goulash which wasn’t that great. Everything else was yummy!

A very good experience! Lively place with live traditional music, great servers and good food. The dishes we had were fresh and tasty (maybe the meat was a little dry). We can recommend the traditional grilled oscypek cheese with cranberry jam as a starter - simple but delicious. Seems to be a very popular place so expect a queue especially in the evenings!

A wonderful little restaurant, warm, cozy and beautifully furnished. The food was excellent with generous portions and quick service. The menu promises that your food will be served within 20 minutes of your order being taken. The atmosphere was lovely as there was a small folk music band each evening. The interior is relatively small but there is quite a bit of outdoor seating as well. We visited twice during our week in Zakopane. I highly recommend.

There is a wide variety of dishes in menu, there are some vege options, too. The atmosphere is great, service is super nice and fast. You won't wait for food long time. Prices are very good. Food is tasty, especially baked potato with garlic cheese - delicious. They have also seasonal menu, in summer delicious dumplings with strawberries. A lot of meat. Portions are pretty huge. Tasty food, super drinks, delicious dessert and very friendly staff. This is a fun old school public house environment with a live band playing the upbeat traditional music that is known in this area. First off, let me tell you about mulled beer. This is the first time is been around beer served at tea temperature and I can not fully describe how much I love it. The beer has a sweeter taste when brewed and then mulled with cloves and enhanced by the (optional) raspberry syrup. If you've never had it before, you need to try it. We had a light meal and dessert, with a couple of drinks to go with it. The salad was nice, a selection of veggies with goat cheese and bacon on greens. The smoked cheese on garlic bread was amazing, with slices of oscypek melted on top of fresh bread with garlic butter, and each piece had a plum rolled in bacon which is something I'm going to show all my friends. The staff was busy and also lots of fun. The music was played by a trio of one violin, one viola and one double bass, all played with bows. I did like the way the singing worked with the music - a new experience for me and very memorable.

When you come at busy time there is no host and waiters simply ignoring you while you standing and waiting for a free table. Although waiter that service us was nice and friendly speaking English. We ordered chicken filet and it was completely dry and not tasty at all. Pork ribs were not cooked recently and had pretty bad smell so I has to give it back almost untouched. Grilled trout was OK. In general you should be very picky when visiting this place, only simple dishes can be ordered here.

Perfect place to enjoy traditional polish dishes, like the Pierogi and Deer! The dishes are traditional but with a little touch of modern gourmet cuisine, which turns all even better. The atmosphere is great, alive tradional music after 18h00. And the staff is great, friendly and very professional! In the heart of City center in Zakopane.

Undoubtedly one of the best restaurant in Zakopane for a reason. Has a very large space and ambiance is super cozy. There is a dance floor and lot of table to sit and all in one area. Has a bar on the other side. Music was obviously a bit louder (we wanted a peaceful dinner) Dishes are tasty and served quickly. They have their own beers and lot of them. If you are in Zakopane, you must visit this Accessible by wheelchair, limited parking in near by Areas. Almost at the centre of the city (small city)

The glazing on my rib was too sweet, and personally I do not appreciate sweet taste in my cooked meals. The beer which I was informed they produce themselves was something else. It was really good, and I enjoyed gulping it down a great deal. The waiters could've been more responsive but it wasn't a big deal for us at the time. Other than my food I would say everything else went fine. They had a huge selection of barbeque so perhaps I'll find something I like more when next I visit.

Worth experiencing! Checking through some of the low reviews here, you need to approach this place with a mindset of coming to a bierhalle. The waiters will be running around and you need to proactively request their attention to get their service timely. If you are in this mode, you will be very satisfied with their time to delivery and attention to details. It was fun and will definitely visit again.

This place is large! Staff is very friendly and positive. The beer is good here, they cook it themselves. It’s a local cuisine restaurant, so it’s for people who like brazier food or polish dishes. Servings are big. Cappuccino costs 10 pln (~2,75$), big plate of meat and cheese (800 gram) costs ~14$. Good polish music is playing. There is a scene so I guess here is live music sometimes.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Zakopane. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the design of the restaurant was warm and inviting. Tasty ribs and baked potatoes. Large fresh dessert which can share up to 3 people if you are humble (fruit cake, ice cream and whipped cream). Grilled fresh trout is tasty, without side salad/veggie. Salad bar is plain there is not much to choose from (just typical cabbage mix like everywhere in poland). The front view is beautiful, live music (typical country folclor, violin), located on main street, you may watch horses passing by if you sit outside. Just avoid toilets, they are disgusting, dirty, smelly!

On Friday night, of course, the place was full. We were lucky, we got a table for 8 people on the first floor, because a few people just finished theirs food. The menu was very good and the whole restaurant has a clean desing with a wooden base with appropriate accessoried such as a guitar, some paintings and cozy lighting. The service was fine, and we had no complaints about the quality of the food. Thank you we’ll be back next time too!

The ribs were very average. Slightly dry. The table we picked seemed to be where all the staff congregate when not serving, so ended up being watched the whole time we were eating.

Pretty crowded place but overall experience was good. Nice views and warm water. For smaller children there is not much to do, slides are restricted dependant of the kids height and for adults weight (90kg max). Not a bad place for relaxing. 2,5h is enough.

Came for an hour on a weekday and it wasn't too busy - minimal queues for slides. Slides were fun and the lifeguards spoke English and were friendly. Pools very warm and great fun for a rainy day. Good price for an hour's fun. Probably not big enough to handle busier days, quite small but for our visit it was great.

Nice water park in Zakopane. The place is not very big but it's enough to spend 2.5 hours there. You sit in the warm water outside and see the beautiful mountains around you. There are nice jet in the pool so ot can calm your muscles

Nice water pools and slides, both inside and outside. Good place to spend time with kids! However, the hairdryers in the locker rooms did not work (so you should bring your own, to be on the safe side) and the showers could ensure more privacy. Most staff did not speak English, but they tried to be helpful.
