Very friendly service. The food is great. The ribs or the pork steak are very nice. I had some nice bacon which is pictured. The kids had pizza. They have my favorite drink from Hamburg called Fritz-kola. The lemon pie was more than outstanding. All in all a very nice experience. Very recommended.

The food was good, but not something super special. However, the vibes are super good, feels like home.

5 years ago Loes van Mierloevaluates this place as follows:

We've been here a couple of times and the vegan dishes we tried have been excellent every time: the pizza, wrap, burger and hummus platter were all delicious! The owner Joaquin is very kind, checking with the chef to see what vegan options they could offer. He also told my husband they source as many local products as possible and serve home made food rather than pre-made or frozen. Prices are great value for money and Fugazetta has quickly become our favorite place to eat in Arinsal!

4 years ago Jerry Aevaluates this place as follows:

Personalized service by owner on this very casual Argentinian styled Pizza place where you can find really good food at excellent pricing. Very casual but is what you need, this can be a place to go all seasons. I would go again as they make you feel at home. Food is not bad either, try empanadas if they have them, like I said it is an Argentinian Pizzeria. If in Arinsal, try it, you wil not regret it. Burger pictured below, for the price is great.

2 years ago Zero: it is necessary to add to this place:

Food was pretty nice, I had a ham pizza. The pizza was quite cheesy and the ham was quite nice. My only complaint is that the pizza base was a tad bit too soggy for my liking, but other than that I would definitely come here again. Thank you Fugazzeta, for the lovely pizza.

2 months ago Norbert Ssaid the following about this gem:

The restaurant has a very nice interior design and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, there is a wide selection of drinks, everything is well thought out and tastefully arranged, and the toilets are clean. The only downside is the food, which is unfortunately underseasoned. I ordered a burger the meat was not seasoned and lacked flavor, the egg was overcooked, and the bun should have been warm but was cold, which caused the meat to become cold very quickly as well. I would recommend this place for drinks, but not really for food. I’m giving it 3 stars in the hope that the management notices the issue in the kitchen. On a positive note, the crème brûlée dessert was very good.

2 months ago Kate Bazhan- why does he think this place is on the list?

Great place in this small village. Really nice mountain style interior. Fondue - highly recommended. Super cheesy, wine complemented and served in bread, it has great taste and super big portion. We took it and roasted chicken (half). This was enough for 4 people to be full. We also tried staffed portobellos. Super interesting appetizer with bacon. It was a bit salty for some, but for solt lovers - nice "amuse de bouche".

2 months ago Rob Shawsaid the following about this gem:

We've been coming to Arinsal for years and like the Cabin. It's cosy, friendly and has a bit more of a mountain tavern feel. We come here most years. This year atmosphere and service were lovely as ever but the food was a real mixed bag. Some things were great - the trout and the pizza; somethings were pretty good - fish and chips; but others were sadly waaaay below standard. You guys really need to work on your wok bowl noodle dishes. It's so easy to make a noodle dish that's super tasty but last night the chicken and salmon versions were weirdly dark in colour and yet oddly lacking in flavour. They tasted like ready made sauces and lacked any fresh zing of garlic, ginger and chili. It's the only thing that's letting you down: up your wok game, El Cabin! :)

11 months ago Amy Lee- why does he think this place is on the list?

An ideal post-ski lounge, drink, and eat warm food! The setting is right next to water and has cozy "cabin" vibes. The menu highlights local foods (both dishes and sourced). Features to enjoy while eating include the stove, town/mountain views, and ski reels.

3 months ago Don Dragosaid the following about this gem:

Well located hotel, with mountain view , The waterfall sounds beautiful in the background... the breakfast was not very rich, but okay for what I paid but instead the rooms leave something to be desired... It smells very bad, old and like sewage. Mold in the shower has no place in a hotel in 2025 😞 Too bad, maybe next time it will be better !!

1 year ago Paul Whitesaid the following about this gem:

Everyone was really friendly and the rooms were very clean, the hotel is much nicer than we had expected, the drinks were a good price and a good portion too. The shower was great, hot and powerful, and the continental breakfast was good too. I would be happy to recommend this place and happy to return to it.

2 years ago Neil Salvidgesaid the following about this gem:

My son and I have just had five comfy nights here. Yes, it’s well used and shows some signs of wear and tear (by skiers - like us), but was everything we needed. Brilliant location, 1 minute to the cable car station. Brilliant friendly staff and always helpful. There’s a popular locals bar which we enjoyed a couple of times, who are very welcoming and happy to chat. Breakfast was a good selection of continental pastries, cereals, meats and cheese, which set us up for the day. Bring a small padlock if you wish to use their free ski locker, or they’ll hire you one for a refundable €5. A really enjoyable stay. Thank you, definitely will be returning.

Perfect for us. Basic but clean, comfortable, great location. Did anyone else experienced ghostly goings on during their stay?

3 years ago mark Hookdescribed this experience as follows:

The Hotel Comapedrosa is a great little hotel if you just want the basic amenities, rooms were clean and functional, staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. There was no kettle in the room which was slightly disappointing as when I get up or go to bed I like a hot drink and with breakfast not available until 8am I found myself gasping for a coffee by then and there was nowhere in Arinsal open to get one either as I like to get up early this was about my only gripe. Close to the gondola which is handy. I enjoyed my stay but if returning to Arinsal I would pick somewhere with a few more comforts (kettle etc) and most hotels serve breakfast a little earlier.

8 months ago Nadia Rozumnawhat can I say about this place?

We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant and truly enjoyed the whole experience. The service was very polite and attentive, and the portions were generous. I especially loved the goat cheese salad — fresh and flavorful. We also tried the caracoles, grilled sardines, and grilled vegetables — all were excellent. In addition to the regular menu, there was a special daily selection from the chef, and every dish we tried was delicious. You can choose to sit inside or on a small terrace with a lovely view of the river. We highly recommend reserving a table in advance — the place was almost full when we arrived. The set lunch menu costs €22 and offers large portions and great value. Another big plus: there’s free and convenient parking right next to the restaurant, which is a rare find. Highly recommended!

What our travelers says:

2 months ago Laura Leedescribed this experience as follows:

Recently dined here as a group of 9 on a ski holiday. We had seen the restaurant on a previous night and decided to book in travelling here from a different town. When we arrived our table was not ready, there was still another group sitting at it and they were asked to leave to accommodate us. From the start the service seemed quite slow. The table sat empty but with drinks and plates on it until I went back in and reminded the staff about our reservations. We were sat and given side plates and cutlery but no menus. We all had to use our phones to find the menu online. Starters, mains and drinks were ordered. Cosmopolitan cocktails were nice, nothing extraordinary. Soft drinks and beers were ordered. We had to remind the waiter of a beer as it was forgotten. Starters of Jack Daniel’s wings, bbq spicy wings and vegetable spring rolls were ordered. The Jack Daniel’s wings were delicious, the sauce was excellent. The bbq spicy wings were extremely spicy. The vegetable spring rolls were nice as well. Good sized portions. Mains were fillet steaks, ribeyes steaks, stir fry and peri peri chicken. The stir-fry and peri peri chicken were lovely. Great portion sizes. The steaks were presented very well but not everyone was happy with how they were cooked. The taste wasn’t amazing either. When ordering we asked what sauce it comes with and the waiter informed us of peppercorn or Jack Daniel’s. We all opted for peppercorn and were charged €3.50 when we were told it came with the steak. 4 were brought out and we had to ask for 3 more. By the time these came out we had all finished eating and yet we’re still being charged. There wasn’t much of a taste off the sauce, more of a mushroom sauce. Some had chips and others mash, these were extremely small portions and the mash was cold. The waiters removed the peppercorn sauces from the bill. Plates were passed down the table which is extremely understandable as it was a tight and busy location. However some of these plates were extremely hot. The service towards the end improved as we were constantly checked on by the waiters which was nice to see. Toilets were clean. Nice location. Cosy seating. Heaters in the outdoor seating area which kept us nice and warm. We were too full for desserts so can’t comment on these. Overall it was an average dining experience. The chicken wings were definitely the highlight of the meal.

8 months ago Darrell Wdescribed this experience as follows:

The food was excellent. The staff was the first place we found that was actually nice to us and welcoming. We tried a few other restaurants and they gave us the shoulder shrug upon entry. We had pizza, fish, curry, pasta and a salad and would recommend them all. The server was excellent. That doesn't happen often. Attentive, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

By far the best restaurant this ski town has. Was there for a week and the burger, ribs , and pizza kept drawing us back. We went about 4x. I didn’t even take pics of the food because we devoured everything before we could. the ribs were falling off the bone, and you could taste the char on the burger. Loved it here, kudos to the chef and staff who were nothing but lovely.

What our travelers says:

8 months ago Yanjie Zhaowrote only this about this place:

The location is breathtaking — surrounded by mountains, peaceful, and serene. The lobby is bright and full of plants, creating a great first impression. The spa was a highlight: multiple pools and saunas, totally worth the €15/hour. My husband loved it. The room was fine but had terrible lighting, especially in the bathroom — made me feel like I was in a hospital, not a hotel. Then came dinner, and it was a disaster. The food tasted old and reheated, seafood smelled off, meat was dry, veggies were bitter. My husband ended up getting sick. We spoke to the front desk, who were kind, but the manager refused a refund because “we already ate it” — though they did cancel breakfast after we insisted we wouldn’t eat there again. Sadly, the food experience was so bad I’m not sure I’d return at all.

1 year ago Vale Mwrote only this about this place:

We booked a 5-star double room, but the experience did not match the rating. The room was so small that I couldn’t even open my luggage properly. The bathroom was quite old, and adjusting the water temperature was frustrating—it was either too hot or too cold, with normal to low water pressure. On top of that, the room was cold, and we couldn’t raise the temperature as there were no temperature controls, which was very disappointing for a supposedly high-end stay. On the bright side, the mattress was comfortable, and as part of the 5-star package, all drinks were included. However, the white wine was terrible, and after just two glasses, I ended up with gastritis. Definitely not what I expected from a supposed luxury experience. The buffet was a much better option than the restaurant, which was underwhelming. The heated pool was pleasant, and the kids' play area was a nice feature. But overall, the small room, outdated facilities, lack of temperature control, and poor food and drink quality made this feel more like a 3-star hotel at best rather than the premium stay we had hoped for.

11 months ago Jess Mwhat can I say about this place?

We stayed here in mid March - me, my partner and our 2 daughters aged 3 and 7. A ski trip with 2 small kids in tow isn't normally my idea of a holiday (!) but the Princesa Parc Excellence made it as enjoyable as it could be, plus gave us some time to relax too. We booked the kids themed suite (not sure if that's technically what it's called) with the jungle Book ajoining room which was AMAZING - the girls loved it and it gave us all space for them to play / watch TV and us to have our own space too. They could even play outside and build snowmen on the little terrace part and they had their own jacuzzui in their bathroom! The staff were all excellent, in the spa and the restaurant and reception and bars. We mostly ate at the a la carte restaurant where the food was delicious. Top tip, we sometimes fed our kids first (during our starters) then deposited them in the kids club so we could enjoy the rest of the meal ourselves in peace! The kids club - albeit a bit small - was a great feature and our girls went for a little bit most days where they met some friends. The location to the lift is as good as you can get, and the spa was great. We never had a problem getting in with a booking. With the meals and drinks included in our package, it was pretty good value. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel and we'll be back. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

2 years ago Da Angeloevaluates this place as follows:

Stayed in suite with terrace. Room and cleanliness were amazing, great room and housekeeping, view into mountain valley was perfect. The service was good, but we bought breakfast included, and the hotel has 2 breakfast room sides; depending on the day the server for each side would give us different answer as to which side we could eat at. The radiators in the room can also smell and leak slightly.

2 years ago Pavel Deminsaid the following about this gem:

Very good service and customer orientation. Initially, we made a mistake and took the wrong number that we wanted. But they helped us to re-register for a suite with a minimum surcharge. Breakfast and dinner are beyond praise. The service and quality are at the level of Michelin restaurants and cheap. Javier, the manager responsible for the dining room, creates a cozy home environment. Thank you Javier! Special thanks to the reception manager Emanuel for prompt and high-quality assistance in solving our extra whims, we really appreciate it!

2 months ago Anna Tokar- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Mixed feelings. On one hand, it wasn’t bad, on the other, we drove all the way from Barcelona specifically to eat here, and I have quite a bit to say! The positives: The ambiance is great - cool, dark colors, rough textures, lively music create an unforgettable vibe. As for the food, the steak tartare was perfect, the beef carpaccio was very fresh, and the grilled meat was juicy. The apple cider was top-notch too! The negatives: The bathroom taps only have ice-cold water. Since the restaurant is located in the middle of a snowy ski area, we really needed some warmth! Regarding the food, while the grilled meat was juicy, some pieces were unfortunately unchewable. The beef carpaccio also lacked flavor for me; it was only drizzled with a sweet sauce, and though I tried to enjoy it, it didn't quite land. Thankfully, after my husband complained about the meat, the staff kindly provided a complimentary piece of cake since it was a birthday celebration. Overall, the experience was nice, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.

Our first night in Arinsal was made very special with this amazing food and service at our dinner. From the moment we walked in the restaurant, we were very welcomed and the place has an amazing and comfy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. the food was cooked to perfection, I got a Ribeye, with a perfect cooking point, exactly as I asked and my fiancé got a pizza that she put in her top 3. I’ll definitely come here again and highly recommend for the meat and bbq lovers

Outstanding culinary experience! This restaurant offers a remarkable selection of meats, incredibly tender and flavorful. Every bite was a delight for the taste buds. The attentive service and warm ambiance perfectly complement this gastronomic experience. I highly recommend trying the Roy Smith steak with the eggs. A must-visit for quality meat enthusiasts!

1 year ago renata cordeiro: it is necessary to add to this place:

We tried to eat there for 2 days. On the first day, we arrived an hour before closing time for lunch and were told that the kitchen was already closed. Google says that the restaurant closes at 3pm and we arrived at 2pm. Ok, fine, they weren't very friendly. The next day, we tried again and we only had a reservation for an hour later, so we had to wait. We were determined to try it because the photos on the internet looked like incredible, succulent food. What a disappointment! My dish was completely toasted on the outside and the inside was meat that was hard to chew. There was a risk of hurting a gum or leaving with a missing tooth. My boyfriend's dish was an even worse disaster. We ordered it medium rare and the meat came completely raw on one side and with a huge layer of skin that looked like it had come off the supermarket shelf and been grilled without any treatment or cleaning. I had to clean it on plate. Note: Both dishes were accompanied by two small pieces of potatoes, which are far from being considered side dishes. We waited so long to get angry, there is nothing worse than spending money on bad food and still receiving bad service, since they were not at all friendly and since we had already been waiting for an hour for the table and were very hungry, we ordered the main course and left the starters aside, which was the main reason for the waitress rolling her eyes when she heard us say we didn't want starters. Since it was our first time in Andorra, we left there and go to another one that is 10x better next door. Detail: our table was booked for 3pm, and the day before they denied us a table saying that the kitchen was already closed, it was only 2pm. I NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Xoxo

2 months ago philip holland- why does he think this place is on the list?

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and chose the half-board option. The food was good and plentiful, although at times some dishes from the buffet were not hot enough. The buffet stands could benefit from keeping the food warmer. The pizzas, in particular, could be improved. The games room is excellent for both kids and adults, with a great variety including pool tables, arcade games, air hockey, and bowling. We were surprised to learn that there is no indoor pool, only a spa, which comes at an additional charge. We did use the spa with the children and found it enjoyable. However, given the price of the hotel stay, it would be nice if at least one spa visit was included in the package. The room was comfortable and warm. The pillows, however, were not very comfortable. Housekeeping was generally fine, but we would have expected all rubbish to be removed daily. On a few occasions, empty bottles were left behind that should have been cleared by the cleaners. The TV system could definitely be modernised to allow access to Netflix or offer more English-speaking channels. Currently, only BBC News and CNN were available in English. We received one complimentary bottle of water on arrival, but we would have expected this to be replenished daily. If that is not possible, the hotel could consider providing a free water dispenser in the reception area or on each floor, allowing guests to refill their own bottles in an environmentally friendly way. We did refill our bottles at breakfast, but the machines are not available in the evenings, so a water dispenser would be a great improvement. Having to book specific times for breakfast and dinner was sometimes inconvenient. If we forgot to book, we had to go back down to reception, as the room phone did not work. An easier booking method through an app would be very helpful. We did discover that booking via WhatsApp worked well once we tried it. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would stay here again.

Excellent hotel on my first ski trip with kids. The hotel had everything a kid could dream of also the grownups. Nice rooms, food, spa, big lobby aera with a bar, play rooms for kids of all ages. The hotell smelled really good citrus and was verry clean. Verry helpfull, kind and serviceminded staff. It is only a short walk to the gondola and we prebooked skipass we got on our arrival. The rooms were a bit warm during the night but we had the windows open. I would recommend the hotel to all family's but all ages.

I often travel with my dog and usually a “pet friendly” hotel means a place that barely tolerates your dog. In this case, we found a hotel where dogs are more than welcome for real. First of all they give you a couple of rules at the checkin, explaining in which areas dogs are allowed (basically everywhere beside the restaurant and the pool area). Then, they give you a welcome package with a bowl, snacks, a bottle, poop bags, a bag holder and a blanket. Dogs are also allowed to stay alone in the room with no restrictions for up to two hours. They also give you a nice door hanger that says “a pet is resting inside. Please do not disturb”! We met lots of other dog owners and we spent our nights in the bar/lobby with our dog with us, enjoying a good beer and live music. Wonderful.

8 months ago Lee Minett- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

I wanted to like this hotel and there are aspects I enjoyed. However, some of the staff could be a little more friendly and we never felt truly wanted with our dog. The area too isn't great for keeping your little friend occupied without tiring hikes or car travel. (The cable car was not operating while we were there.) breakfast, lunch and dinner are all buffet affairs and the select is decent, the quality, not so much. However, we felt full each time. The room was quite small but the bathroom was decent. Parking the car is neither cheap or straightforward. It felt a little bit like driving around Sorrento.
