You pick your seat, grab your own drinks, and then the magic begins. The owner, Hai Fitzgerald, personally comes over and talks with you about what kind of meat you’re in the mood for and from there, he cooks up a surprise for you. I chose Prime Rib and Hai cooked it perfectly and cooked up an incredible pasta dish that was full of flavor. My wife wanted chicken, and Hai surprised her with an amazing Pad Thai that she absolutely loved. Both meals were fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. Lots of flavor. Hai found out it was our wedding anniversary and made some homemade blueberry, raspberry chocolates, which were amazing. The entire experience is incredible and completely outside the box...in the best way possible. You can tell this is a passion-driven restaurant focused on great food and a one-of-a-kind dining experience. If you’re looking for something different with outstanding, creative, fresh food, this is a must-try. Highly recommend!

I am new to the area and honestly thought this was a former florist or convenience store now covered in tarps and permanently closed. I was very wrong. I would definitely guess the owner is some kind of hoarder/collector/eccentric. Very messy and unkempt feeling although the bathroom was clean and maintained. As mentioned by others reviews, upon entering, we were told to get our own soda and then where to sit. No menu, no prices, no Pho, no idea what we were in for. The owner was very high energy and intriguing if a bit overwhelming. We chose fish/seafood as our ‘protein’ and settled on salmon & sea bass. Out came massive plates of rice & fish covered in some kind of gravy/sauce. No idea what it was. One plate did have some tasty stir fried asian veggies. No salad, no other choices. The food was mediocre at best, especially covered in the unknown substance. The owner sat a large plastic bottle of ‘something’ that would remove the hair from my face. I tried a drop and it was indeed, spicy beyond belief. Definitely a NO for me. The jaw dropping bill came, no choice but to pay, we just won’t return again. I think we must have covered his mortgage payment for the month. Overall, cluttered and confusing, tasteless food covered in an unknown substance, strange service, ambiance of a junky antique, once upon a time drugstore/cafe/homeless shelter type vibe. Weird and unsettling.
2 months ago Shy Jo Yonson- in short, this experience can be described as follows:The location is strange. The tarps over the windows and the building still looking like a 7-11 throws me off. For people who have never been here you need to know that the prices are not listed for a reason. It is all market price of the day. If you get the steak or prime rib you are paying about $40-$50 a plate. Chicken and bass not sure. For 4 people (one prime rib, two steaks, and one ribs) our bill was about $150. Your meal does come with a drink, a salad, and side. However I am not a beets or yam fan, but the mashed potatoes were great. The owner was friendly, the jokes were a bit much, but I’m cool. Not sure how to put this without being rude, but it’s part of the business story and the owner and how he helps the community, several of the souse chefs working are from a program to help people with disabilities. They are great cooks and did a fantastic job. Aside from price and the inside/outside looking a bit odd, the food was great and so was the service. The fun part is they offer cooking classes that I wouldn’t mind trying out some time. When you first get there you will see the board, you will need to pick your protein, if you have ANY ALLERGIES, you need to tell the person assisting you. If you are there for only one specific item such as pho, you need to state as such or you get the full treatment. I do not believe alcohol is sold here. Will be back.

But the owner creates such an amazing experience and is so passionate about his food, and for good reason. The food was so fresh, flavorful and high quality. We got the seabass with butternut squash and salmon salad and they were both amazing. We'll be back!
