It was my first time there. If it's full, you have to wait inside after giving your name. It was a busy time on a Sunday lunchtime, but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I was thinking of having Fujinomiya Yakisoba when I went near Mt. Fuji, so I was very pleased. Thank you for the meal

3 months ago H.S- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

I ordered a mix of Fujinomiya yakisoba for takeout. The restaurant isn't particularly large, but they cook it on a hot plate right in front of you, and the delicious aroma wafts up while it's cooking - it's amazing! 👍️ I've never tried Fujinomiya yakisoba anywhere else, but this one is the best. It was so delicious that it made me think that. The noodles were chewy and delicious even when cold. Thank you for the meal! 🍴🙏

I visited while traveling. I was craving Fuji Yakisoba, and since it had good reviews on Google, I decided to go. I arrived around 1:00 PM, which was lucky, maybe because it was during the changing time? I waited outside for 5-10 minutes, but was able to get in right away. There was a QR code on the sign outside, and the menu was also available for selection, which was great! The staff were waiting outside, so they seemed attentive. When we went in as a group of two, we were asked to sit facing each other at a table. Several people sat down. Water was self-service. I think it was Fuji Yakisoba and Sakura Mix? I ordered okonomiyaki. The okonomiyaki had a lot of yam in it, so it took a while to be prepared, but it was delicious. 💕 The parking lot seems to be at the back of the restaurant. It was cramped, so I parked at a nearby Don Quijote. I did some shopping on the way back.

We visited on a family trip. We wanted to eat Fujinomiya yakisoba, so we looked up places near our accommodation and found this one with great reviews, so we went there. We ordered the extra large okonomiyaki and Fujinomiya yakisoba. The okonomiyaki was thick and the batter was perfectly seasoned. The Fujinomiya yakisoba was, needless to say, incredibly delicious, and my kids ate it even more than usual. We ordered the extra large Fujinomiya yakisoba three times in total. They offer takeout, so I regret not getting some and eating it at the hotel. The staff gave my kids some Umaibo on our way out, which I'm grateful for.

I ordered the 6,000 yen course meal. It was so delicious, and the portions were so large I couldn't finish them all! They had a wide variety of drinks and sours. Plus, there was no smoke, and my clothes didn't smell! I guess it's the latest equipment. I was able to relax in a private room, which was really nice!

2 months ago br 39explained best how he liked it:

I had lunch. I think it was 2,150 yen for a four-course meal. The meal itself was delicious and reasonably priced, but the presentation was a problem... I wonder if they only light the stove after the food is served? The hotplate never got hot, and the rice and soup just kept getting cold. It was a cold day, and I was craving something warm, so it was stressful. Why do I have to feel so stressed when I go for lunch? 😢 I'm sure it's a popular restaurant with a constant stream of customers and phone calls constantly ringing off the hook for reservations. But I was disappointed. It was more than just disappointing; I was devastated. 😨 The food was delicious. The rice and soup were delicious even when they were cold, so it would have been even better if I'd been able to eat it while it was still warm. 😢 They also had a sun-dried tofu lunch for under 1,000 yen, so next time I go, I'll try something that doesn't require the hotplate.

4 months ago Jiivewhat can I say about this place?

After a bit of chatting, the waiter managed to remove a few things from one of their meals and presented us with a delicious vegan dish of rice, vegetables, and a lentil curry. It was beautifully presented and the waiter truly went above and beyond to make sure we didn't leave hungry.

1 year ago Kiên Phong Vươngwrote only this about this place:

I recently dined at KICHI TO NARU KITCHEN [富士高嶺店] and was initially hesitant since they don’t have a designated vegetarian menu. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the staff were in creating a memorable meal tailored to my dietary preferences. From the start, our server went above and beyond to understand my needs, consulting the chef to suggest creative alternatives. They offered to adapt several existing dishes, swapping out meats for a combination of seasonal vegetables, grains, and house-made sauces. The result was delicious and felt thoughtfully crafted rather than just a last-minute substitute. While I would love to see a few dedicated vegetarian options on the menu, KICHI TO NARU KITCHEN [富士高嶺店] impressed me with its flexibility and genuine willingness to make my experience enjoyable. For any vegetarians dining here, rest assured that the staff will go out of their way to accommodate you!

1 year ago Apoorva Naiduexplained best how he liked it:

We were Amazed by their hospitality 😍 they didn't have much vegetarian options, so the chef was very kind enough to customize the noodles with only vegetables. They were kind enough to even ask what vegetables we eat and what spice level we prefer as we eat lot of spice. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team there for being so kind and organizing a vegetarian food for us.

Yakisoba is amazing, the soba itself is really good. Okonomiyaki is also good and it's really the local style. We couldn't speak Japanese but the staff was really helpful. She helped us ordered from the machine (which is all in Japanese). Price is ok, not expensive at all. If you want local style cooking then here's the place.

This taiyaki shop is just a 10-minute walk from Shin-Fuji Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen, and I visited on a weekday morning. There are five tables inside, and you can dine in, but on this day I chose takeout. They sell taiyaki, okonomiyaki, Fujinomiya yakisoba, takoyaki, soft-serve ice cream, shakes, and more, but I chose the Fujinomiya yakisoba. This Fujinomiya yakisoba is officially recognized by the Fujinomiya Yakisoba Society, and includes not only pork and cabbage, but also meat scraps and a special bonito and sardine shavings. The chewy, firm noodles absorbed the sauce perfectly, and the juicy meat scraps and the crisp, sweet cabbage made for a delicious yakisoba. Thank you for the meal.

4 months ago 日向wrote only this for this place:

I went on a weekend lunch and there was about a 15-minute wait. It seems to be popular. It was my first time there, and I was surprised when I got it home. The okonomiyaki was wrapped in paper... Now I understand why it said it had to be folded in half. Only the sauce was on the inside. It's cheap, the taste is average, and it's good for a casual meal. I wish there was a little more sauce. The crust of the taiyaki was thick and cake-like. The skin was thick too. It was just on the verge of being chewy. This is a matter of personal preference, but I like the crunchiness of Azabu Naniwaya, so I didn't really like it. I think I prefer the taiyaki shop at Cainz... I was prepared for bad service based on the reviews, but the lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, which was nice. I don't know about other customers. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by because I wanted to eat katsu for the first time in a while. I asked for free cabbage, and ate it with barley rice and the accompanying grated yam. It was delicious. The katsu went really well with the sweet and spicy sauce and ground sesame. Takeout (bento) orders are also available, which is convenient. [December 27, 2025, Lunch]

It was a Sunday night, so it was pretty busy. I usually order the large fried shrimp whenever I come here, but I couldn't resist ordering the shrimp-filled set meal, which was only available at this location. It came with large fried shrimp and a shrimp cutlet. The plump shrimp cutlet was delicious. I wish they'd make it a standard item on the menu... (・-・ ) I think it's a must-have dish for shrimp lovers.

6 years ago Bill Gallagherwhat can I say about this place?

When you enter you must select what you want to eat by using the vending machine. The machine is in Japanese and I am not sure if they have English. The walls have old toys, photos of famous people and there are multiple stars wars themed items. The workers are very friendly and the service is quick. The ramen was quite tasty and each type of ramen has a distinctive flavor.

2 months ago ガシ君AKAフンコロhow did he rate it?

The miso noodles are absolutely delicious! 🍴😆✨ This ramen, made with Hatcho miso, is a bit pricey, but it's packed with flavor. This exquisite dish, reminiscent of misonikomi udon, is highly recommended.

1 month ago ZENwrote only this for this place:

It's my first visit in six months. The last time I went, the char siu was so delicious, so I came here for that, but this time the char siu was mediocre. I asked for the noodles to be soft, but they were still hard. The appearance was also a bit vague. I won't be going there again. I had the miso large noodles with pork double. The char siu was very delicious. This is the best ramen I've been to recently. The soup had a sharp texture. The noodles were quite hard, and I get the feeling that many customers don't like this. I heard that there are other ramen menus that allow you to choose your noodles, so I would like to change them. Is that possible? The portion is enormous. I ordered a large portion with extra vegetables, but gave up after about half. The char siu was so delicious that I ate it all. I think I ate most of the vegetables as well. I left a lot of the noodles. This may be standard for Jiro-style ramen, but I hope they take a moment to calm down and reconsider.

5 months ago Yoshinori Yokoyama (quagata)wrote only this for this place:

This was my first visit to this restaurant, which was opened by the former owner of Ramen Jiro Machida. MEGA Don Quijote has a fairly large free parking lot, which was a blessing. I entered the restaurant around 12:50pm, and there was no wait and I was able to choose my seat freely. I bought a ticket for a large noodle (1,090 yen) and handed it to the waiter, and immediately heard the call, "Would you like garlic?" I said "Yes please," and the large noodles arrived in about 10 minutes. The noodles were quite thick and firm, but the vegetables, pork, garlic, and soup were "The Jiro Way," and were absolutely delicious. They use Jiro's exclusive Kaneshi soy sauce, which really adds to the Jiro feel. I like the soft noodles at Jiro's Mita main branch, so next time I think I'll order them with softer noodles.

This is a familiar udon restaurant. I've been there many times, but this is my first time posting. This time I chose kamaage udon and kakiage tempura. It was lunchtime, but since it was a weekday, I was able to receive my order smoothly and in a short time. It's reasonably priced and delicious!

1 year ago hirosi h- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

We arrived at 12:40pm. We waited in line for 20 minutes, but the busier it was, the fresher the udon was, so the wait wasn't too bad. 🤭 Just as we started to enjoy our delicious udon, we noticed that the shrimp in my wife's shrimp tempura was raw. My wife said it was fine, but when she handed it to the female staff member in the dishwashing area, she slammed it down in disguise and threw it away. After a while, the female staff member came back and, without any apology, handed us cash, saying she would refund our money. It was a bit of a letdown, so we quickly finished our delicious lunch and went home feeling very disappointed. I don't want to go back for a while. I love Marugame, so I hope they improve this as soon as possible.

Best ramen I have had in Japan! Also tried dumplings - they were great too. But you will probably need to wait to be seated - put your name into a list and you will be callled eventually.

It was definitely the best ramen Ive had in Japan yet. Ive been to Japan several times for a few weeks at a time and this easily topped everything else Ive tried.
