What our travelers says:
6 years ago Vong Lorwrote only this for this place:The food is really good and service is great. A bit pricier than other places but courses served are quite mouth watering. The locally sourced pork is roasted to a tender and juicy state while the bacon was actually very good. They have a wide variety of desserts to choose from as well. Overall, it's a great combination of food, drinks, and atmosphere.

2 months ago misun yu: it is necessary to add to this place:The amuse-bouche, featuring delicious homemade bread, mushroom soup, and macarons, captivated my palate. The refreshing combination of strawberries and mozzarella cheese was also exquisite. Libros' signature rich, juicy meat and tender texture were exquisite. The meat was perfectly cooked on the outside and moist on the inside, capturing the rich, savory flavors of the meat. For dessert, we finished with a sweet pudding and rich coffee. After savoring the heartfelt cuisine, we enjoyed a walk by the sea, making for a truly blissful experience.
4 months ago 上村梨子- in short, this experience can be described as follows:It's a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from Ohara Station on the JR Sotobo Line. We visited "donner," a French restaurant located in a detached building on a hill in Isumi City, Chiba Prefecture, near Hiari Coast. This popular restaurant, which was also featured on "Ad-machi-tengoku," is renowned for its French course meals and sweets prepared by its chef and pastry chef. The natural interior, exuding the warmth of wood, seats approximately 24 people, including counter and table seating. Soft sunlight streams in through the windows, allowing time to pass leisurely. Lunch courses start from 3,300 yen (tax included; all hereafter prices include tax). On this day, we added homemade Okinawan pork loin ham and mushrooms for an additional 1,000 yen, and Hokkaido Cherry Valley duck confit for an additional 2,000 yen, for a total of 6,990 yen (includes three types of bread). Each dish, such as the amuse-bouche mushroom soup and bamboo charcoal macarons, is carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The main course, duck confit, was especially delicious, with crispy, fragrant skin and tender, fall-off-the-lam meat. However, the portions were generally quite large, and I was almost full after the appetizer. If you have a small appetite, I recommend refraining from adding on to the menu. After the meal, we chose a dessert from the display case (+690 yen). All of the patisserie-style sweets were highly refined, and to be honest, this dessert was the most impressive. It was packed with butterfly pea amber sugar, meringue, ice cream, cake, and fruit. For the drink, I chose the seasonal recommendation (ginger and raspberry/700 yen). It was sweet and sour and refreshing, perfect for drinking during a meal. As a souvenir, I purchased the "Sea and Satoyama Cookie Tin (small)" (2,800 yen). It was filled with sables decorated with motifs such as clouds and forests, and while the taste was simple, the appearance was very cute. The staff were courteous and the explanations of the dishes were easy to understand, leaving a good impression. The course progressed at a leisurely pace, taking about two hours in total. I recommend visiting with plenty of time to spare. This is a restaurant where you can leisurely savor carefully prepared dishes and sweets while taking in the nature of Chiba. I think it's the perfect place for a "special occasion lunch." (Visited in October 2025)
