Achil was the one making our Subway and he was so kind. He was smiling the entire time even though our order was not easy and his behaviour really made my day. It was a great experience and Subway is now definitely my go-to food place

We got the pelikassi set. My husband got an Italian BMT and I chose kana fajita. My sandwich artist was amazing. She stuffed my sub full of chicken fajitas and kept going! Amazing. Best sub I've had so far in Finland. I hope she doesn't run the branch to the ground with her generosity in dishing out the ingredients ;)

We went to Tupa Kitchen & Bar with our family for a nice dinner to celebrate the final evening of our holiday. The burgers were not really warm and had no taste at all. The whole meal was very plain. For 18,90€ you should get something much better. Other people took the pepper steak and it was as lame as the burgers. The meat wasn’t prepared properly and the sides were different than in the description. Pizza was the only dish that looked ok. If you have to eat here, I would recommend to choose a pizza.

Long wait on the food 1,5+ h and the restaurant isn’t even full (5 tables were full). It isn’t the best food in general. Our burgers were charred. The pork shank had under cooked vegetables. But the service was polite and there is unlimited complimentary bread and ice water. I don’t recommend coming here. PS. Don’t recommend taking the spicy chicken wings! The sauce is pretty much just vinegar. They gave us 25 instead of the 20 that we ordered though.

Poor quality food. Some things were actually inedible. Cesar salads were OK. Just dont get any meat or fish. The hamburger patty didn't really taste like meat and was flavorless and tough. Somehow even messed up the bacon and cheese in the burger. Some dishes are also way too small for the really high price. Felt robbed. We got pizzas next door on our way out to fill our stomachs. Just get a taxi somewhere else if staying at Himos.

I have visited this place since I was a little kid, and it's still among the best of its type. I remember even when I was living in Jyväskylä, Hämeenlinna and Helsinki, I still came by there every time I was even remotely close to the neighborhood. It's my go to place within 50-100 kilometers and will likely be for a long long time :)

The food at the lunch buffet was completely cold and tasteless. I can't recommend it, I was just left feeling bad and hungry. The ice cream and tap water were the only good things at lunch. The price-quality ratio really doesn't match 👎🏻

Probably the most diverse lunch buffet in Jämsä. You can also order other dishes from the menu. The quality standard is significantly higher compared to other similar restaurants in the area. The buffet is available Mon-Sun. The salad bar is very generous. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The service is friendly and the restaurant premises are very clean.

Excellent kebab plates! Highly recommended, not like any grill.

It must have been the 5-6th time I've been to the grill and every time the portions have been generous and good, like today. Good and fast service. Ordered during the day and it really keeps you hungry for the rest of the day 🙂 Although there were no other customers in my place

I'll give a brief explanation. I have about 30 years of experience, mainly in Northern Finland, but of course due to my working life that has been around, I've been to grills in almost every place. Let's get to the point. I was terribly hungry, passing by Jämsä. I Googled this grill and it didn't work out. The food I chose was a Pori (onion sausage) layer/double, which is rarely found on the grill, with two fried eggs. I was surprised at the price the first time. 7e. I asked this twice if my order had been understood correctly because it was an employee who spoke bad Finnish. Then the food came. That's all. Without further ado, if you find a better double Pori for 7e, I'll drive from Tampere to pay you for it and I'll eat six of them myself right away. So really tough. 7e. I give it four out of five. 4/5

Family run Italian restaurant with a couple of kebab options. The menu is extensive with pasta, pizza and meat dishes. My order of a kebab roll was HUGE and can fill-up the stomachs of 2 people.

The food is ok, the theme and presentation of the place is all over the place, Italian vibes with a mish mash of kitchy decore, the price was decent but any extras will cost a lot and there are no package deals for large orders. Coffee was not included in the meal, although the owner gave me a free cup. The food is not Italian, just your basic junk food and eatery meals.

Very delicious pizza for a good price, friendly staff, lovely retro 1970s building with a great view on the street.

Coming in from the freezing cold weather, into the inviting warmth and a wonderful host. I was the only guest and Ahmed cooked me a lovely pasta meal from scratch and two delicious pizzas to take away. He and his wife went out of his way to make me feel welcome. I loved the pictures on the wall which all had stories attached to them, no surprise for a 35 year old business. I had a very pleasant time here at this cozy restaurant and a lovely conversation.

Good service and good food! Our family of five got a nice meal before we started our drive home from Jämsä and Himos. Our kids loved their tropicanas!

Food was good, options quite narrow (I don't like that there is sushi as option in Chinese restaurant, I would prefer more Chinese options). Tea was good and it was real Chinese tea (nothing like Lipton that is often offered). Toilet needs a good clean and total renovation: floors were sticky and it felt like everything was falling apart, door was very difficult to close and open (it was so tight).

We went there around 15:40, buffet closes at 16:00. Hot dishes were not perfect anymore but owner provided more Sushi. : )

Had a good lunch at this restaurant after work. Tasty food at a decent price. Only would have wished for more options in the buffet. But delicious!

The food is always excellent. Excellent dishes and a varied menu that caters to different tastes. Meat, fish, and vegetarian options are available. The restaurant is very clean and the service is very friendly.

I’m in town visiting a company site and two of my colleagues took me to dinner. This place is in the town center, and upstairs in the building. Wasn’t very crowded tonight, and the service was excellent. We were greeted (I believe my colleagues know this spot well) and immediately sat. I ordered one of the local drinks, and decided to go with the reindeer steak. Let me tell you, this was seasoned well, peppery, had veggies and potato accompaniment and also had a super robust demi-glace that was so delicious I almost licked the plate. Reindeer is the new beef. The chef came out and I had to tell her how crazy delicious it was. I’m a diabetic and I still ordered their ice cream sandwich with cloudberry jam. Both dishes were immaculately plated. Works of art. If I’m here again I’ll try the stuffed steak with reindeer mousse next time. They have plenty on the menu but when in Rome! Support small businesses!

Today we visit this place and we had the moose sandwich and the tapas garlic shirmp . Must say.....was pretty good!! Nice ambiance good service !!! Highly recommend it.

It was a nice surprise to get very cheap gasoline and tasty ice cream from the same place, as the temperature was almost 30C and we had to drive from Isojärvi National Park to Leivonmäki National Park. Never shall I forget that friendly pit stop place 😎

Just wish that type2 chargers could be returned. Now place has Infinity and Tesla chargers only

The place is clean and has a good range of a la carte options. We tried the burger and steaks, and they were tasty. The system here is partly self-service but the prices are good for the value.
