Amazing restaurant in Modra. We were really satisfied with this experience. Perfect nice place, really interesting interiors. All dishes were made perfect, service was fast and pleasant. Prices are accurate to this experience. Will come back for sure. Thank you very much.

What a beautiful find!! Well, this restaurant is known for its splendid atmosphere, beautiful setting ... and really amazing food ! And it's all true and some !! I had no idea that the trout with cabbage and carrot tartar can taste so good !! It was really delicious 😋 highly recommend!

We had team dinner for 22 (+2) people here at Mlyn 108. Chef was very professional, he prepared 4 course menu for the whole international group and special menus for people with dietary and religion restrictions. Food was delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it. Things we did not like - missing A/C! This was total fail. It was extremly hot inside the restaurant. And a lot of mosquitos outside. Also, group larger than 12 people, as we were, is split into multiple rooms/tables. And for some, price could be too high. We paid €70/person.

We came here as group for lunch and the food, service, wine, everything was fabulous. We had to move on and wished we would have had more time to enjoy the atmosphere, the environment and the dessert. Thank you for the hospitality!

We have been there and had a wonderfull meal. They have a wine list of all the excellent local wines- so we had a bottle, too. The cook can combine tastes and we will come again!! Definitely!!!

The food was awesome especially the RIBS.

Small-town restaurant with wine cellar. Prices are high. Chicken soup was ok. Garlic soup has only some powderish substance with a lot of salt. That one I can not recommend. Fish and chips was ok. And funny bonus: they charge you 0,1 EUR for 1dcl of tap water.

I was here 2 months ago it was amazing, I’m back feb 2023 and it has closed, I asked a local and she told me the place it out of business.

Great restaurant! We had a daily special with chicken as well as the Schnitzel Burger. Both was fantastic. Nice courtyard to sit in. Good selection of beers.

We had to wait more then hour for the food. When i checked with waiteress I was told the kitchen did not even start prepring our meals, this was the case for other guests as well, so we left...very disappointing

A wonderful delight in a small city. We started with the shrimp and bread, Our main course was the halibut on celery puree and roasted vegetables. For dessert we split the brownie with whipped cream and also the carrot cake. The meals needed no additional seasoning. The service was wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Amazing local food. Great service and great attention from the owner. The restaurant only use local food, with exception of the fish and seafood of course. The restaurant does not take reservations. Avoid peak hours if possible. Enjoy the desert. :)

We were lucky to be almost the only guests in the restaurant, so the service was very attentive and not too slow. The non-alcoholic drinks were beautifully served, the thyme one (yellow, 3,5€) resembled a sparkling herbal tea, the aronia one (red, 3,5€) had much more flavour to it, we would definitely recommend it! We chose the beluga lentils with shrimps (12€) as our only starter, it was delicious and not too small. From the main platters, we got the salmon with white beans (22€) and a mix of grains with mushrooms (14€). The flavours were unique and the portions were huge, I wouldn't mind having them the same size as the starters for a smaller price and therefore being able to taste more things from the menu 😅 The carrot cake (4€) was what made it a 5-stars experience for me 🧡 It was the best carrot cake and probably one of the best cakes I've tried so far. There was a certain vibe to the chef and the beautiful interior with huge windows, open kitchen and big tree branches right next to our table inside that made this a cool experience for us. Not necessarily one we would need to repeat again but definitely one that we'll have fond memories of.

Wonderful little place with excellent service and food. You can feel the love they have for their restaurant and their guests. An added bonus was that they spoke English as well, which helped us a lot as we don't speak Slowakian. I loved the community feel in this town also because of this restaurant which makes you feel like you are not just a tourist, but an actual guest. I had the pasta, my friend the salmon, both were exquisite, The carrot cake was amazing! Definitely a hidden gem you must visit when you are in this town. Thanks for the lovely evening.

A charming, rustic cabin offering hearty traditional fare, located opposite the wellness hotel. It's a great spot for a hot, robust soup after a hike in the surrounding beautiful forests. The desserts are typical and delicious.

We had a team building in this spot and it was quite neat. The staff was very nice, interior as well, the food and drinks were good. Prices are reasonable as well in my opinion, but it is surely not the cheapest place in the “town”. Don’t have a high expectation on overall quality and experience - its name says it is a pub, not a fancy restaurant and as a pub it is very good. Also it is a nice stop before and/or after you come from the hiking.

The food was ok, but the service was horrible. We came to eat at 9pm (the restaurant closes at 10 pm). So we were ok with the fact that we could order a limited nr of dishes. 2x soups and two portions of "pierogi". But all the restaurant employees were staring at us as if they never saw a human. Like it was our fault that we came 1h before they closed, and because of us, they couldn't leave their job earlier. I was in Africa, Russia, Asia, and America, but this kind of disgusting behaviour I never faced anywhere in restaurants. It's like restaurant management couldn't find workers, so they took worst mannered people to work from the closest villages. If you can go eat somewhere else, I highly recommend you do so.

Goulash here very good taste.

A pricey restaurant with nice service and pretty interior. Out of the two meals we ordered, one was really good (ribs) and one was terrible (bryndzove halusky) - as a native Slovak, I know what halusky should taste like, this was very far from it. I wouldn't recommend going here, to be honest.

Very nice place, well executed dishes and well done wine. Pity that museum eas closed and desert didn't reach expectatios, but we would come back for sure.

Divine. Appies, main, and dessert were all spectacular, and so was the service. Beautiful establishment. Definitely a bonus having the art exhibit in the same building, you may choose to enjoy it before or after your meal.

Extremely delicious food! Modra city is famous for great food and this restaurant is just proving it. Great food, nice staff. Recommended to stop by. Not accepting cards, cash only which is the only downside of this restaurant but I still love it and visit regularly

A great place to grab a bite. The Special Burger is awesome. The place itself is somewhat hidden. You actually have to want to go here. You will probably not just stumble in. However, it would be a big mistake to miss it. Always provided you do like burgers and that sort of food and you are not looking for a fancy restaurant.

If you are in a hotel somewhere close to Modra this place is definitely worth a visit. Food is way more moderately priced than in the hotel restaurants and also it is a lot more fun than hotel restaurants. The atmosphere is lokal as there are hardly any tourists there. The burger is one of the best ones I have had.

Kinečko is perfect place to have a good beer and something to eat. Their burger special is just great. Service is also very neat and very good. Definitely recommend this bistro.

Nice location, usually start/end of the trip for many hikers/bikers. Crowded during the weekednd. Cash only!

They have the best salad in town but they always mess up with dressing. Staffs are nice and friendly.

Portions were extremely generous, delicious traditional fare at reasonable prices.

The risotto was average, otherwise a pretty nice place. According to staff, they are removing the option to pay with card.

The restaurant is very unassuming from the outside but surprises with a quaint and very cozy ambiance. It offers good Slovak home cooking at a high level. The dishes are authentic and very tasty. We will come back!

Great restaurant in centre of Modra. Beautiful traditional Slovak art style. They got their own pastas i recommend tagliatelle with beef and soup fazulovica. Its a bit pricey but its worth it. Only thing which is to improve is slow servers maybe add one more otherwise gr8 :)

Easily the best meal and wine tasting we had in Slovakia! Pleasant staff, tasty wine in the restaurant and take home with us! But what about the food? It was to die for! Such a shame that we cant visit once more during this holiday... but we certainly hope to come back... eventually! Highly recommended! Thank you!

Wow, what a fantastic place. Beautiful setting inside and out (would be a great wedding location too!). Food was amazing. It was creative, fresh and full of flavour - not your typical Slovak food. Baked goats cheese starter is a must. Staff were also very friendly.

It's a good restaurant although definitely not exceptional, we had a quick menu lunch and honestly I excepted a bit more from this place, it's k not bad it any stretch of the imagination, but there are many more restaurants which are nicer, although it specializes on vines, which I couldn't try due to the laws of no drinking and driving 🚘. In summary chicken meat was a bit hard and very dry, soup was just fine, nothing exciting. The palce is however huge, many different rooms, there is also a possibility of having a wedding here.

Amazing place with a super friendly staff. We spent three days here for a conference and it was great. The food is delicious, the rooms are amazing, the staff speaks English and it is super friendly, the front green place is absolutely stunning. There is a beautiful playground in front. I totally recommend it.

We visited the Hotel’s restaurant. The staff member serving us was very friendly and did a great job. The food was delicious as well. Definetly recommended.

I would not recommend the restaurant. I ordered a chicken dish with potatoes. The potatoes were cold, no exaggeration and the chicken barely warm. Upon mentioning this to the waitress, she just took the food away and returned 2 minutes later with the plate that appeared the food was microwaved as one potato was hot with the remaining potatoes lukewarm. The chicken was “slightly” warmer, dry & tough. I ordered a coffee with the meal that never arrived. I had seen other customers leave their tables with lots of food left on their plates. No apologies were offered by the staff when mentioning the issue nor anything said when the food returned to the table. I expected, at least a new serving of potatoes at a proper temperature. Then add to this the odour of cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen. Not impressed.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The staff is extremely rude. Our room was not ready when they said it would be and the receptionist spoke to us like it is our fault we were there (we came at check-in time according to their website). We came back later per her demand and when they checked us in, there was some leftover pizza on the floor, towels and bedding dirty. There was no hot water in the shower. I would recommend to go as far as possible from this hotel, literally everything was bad.
