I stopped by Jai Thai Narita yesterday around 3:40 PM and had a really pleasant experience. Even though it was busy, the lady who took my order and the gentleman who brought it to the counter were both incredibly cheerful and polite – their positive energy was a welcome sight! I ordered the chicken set menu, which was absolutely delicious, though I do agree with other reviews that the portion size was a bit on the smaller side. The Thai Milk Tea was also fantastic, but it came with a little too much ice for my liking. Overall, a great spot for a quick and tasty meal before a flight. I'd definitely recommend it!

Very affordable considering the location. I ordered a daily menu consisting of a bowl of noodles, a bowl of fried rice, small salad, and a small drink which costed less than 10 euros. How could it be possible? The taste wouldn’t be that authentic though, the mild Asian flavour made me feel like I’m back to Japan. The waiters were friendly, too.

Really great options @Narita Airport, so amongst all the variety we opted for Jai Thai. There was only one Thai food restaurant option @Narita Airport. Dinner in an Airport can be challenging. Vegetarian options at this restaurant are quite limited. The prices are reasonable, but the quantity and portion sizes are disappointing. The taste is average at best. The veg noodles I tried lacked flavor; they barely included various vegetables like bell peppers and broccoli. They weren’t spicy at all, and they didn’t even ask about spice level. The tofu they used was extremely small, and the noodles sauce had barely any flavor. It was extremely mediocre. If you eat meat, you might have different options. Now, let’s talk about the Thai iced tea. They just stuffed it with ice, so they barely filled half of it with tea to save money. I don’t recommend it. The tea tasted good, but the portion sizes weren’t good.

Located on the 5th floor of terminal 1. Airport food court food never tasted this good, why can’t they have this at every airport 😭😭😭! I love Thai food , and this place did not disappoint after a long flight into Japan. Their Tom yum was on point, and the larb was so satisfying! They even had fish sauce w/ fresh chili 🌶️ out which almost never happens in Japan 🇯🇵. I definitely come back here whenever I’m in the area.

Overall was extremely comfy, very fast service and amazing views. Very kind waitstaff. The food is pretty tasty all around from sweets to savory, Asian to American, it was pretty diverse.

I was traveling here with my family of five, staying at this hotel for two nights. There were many tables open, but we were asked to go to the basement to eat (after the staff had already charged us for the buffet). After I pointed this out and some back and forth between us and the staff, they decided to let us sit in the dining room, which, as I mentioned had many open tables. This made us feel unwelcome and was a disappointing start to our day.

This is the in-house restaurant at Hotel Mystays Premier Narita. Located at ground floor. Cash / card payment accepted. Menu is very limited and vegetarians may find it tough. Staff is extremely courteous and try to help in all possible ways.

Buffet lunch was really good and staff were friendly. Clean and safe.

Worst food we had in Japan. We were staying at the hotel for convenience. We ordered beef burger and pasta from the à la carte. The fries tasted better than the burger! Pasta was pathetic. Service staff were okay except the greeter. The greeter had some attitude which seemed only towards certain group of people (he didn’t sound Japanese).

Everything here is so delightful, fresh, and crafted with care. The fatty tuna was incredibly rich and buttery. We also tried the plum and mint roll, which was just so different to everything else I have tried. The chefs were so incredibly friendly between each other and the costumers. It was so enjoyable to see them work together and with so much care on what they do. I can’t wait to fly through Narita again to visit this gem once more!

I was looking for somewhere to get my last sushi meal in Japan before heading out on my flight. This location was conveniently located before security on the landside. I waited around 10 minutes for 1 person. The sushi here was way overpriced and not good at all compared to the sushi elsewhere in Japan. The salmon was dry and the chutoro was super fishy and old tasting. 8 plates for nearly 5000 yen! Overpriced is understandable because of the airport location, but I expected the quality to be way better. I’ve had better conveyor belt sushi in the United States.

Airport food is just different in Japan. Choices beyond the overpriced prepackaged ham sandwiches and fast food chains. This rotating belt sushi restaurant offers a great selection at reasonable prices with friendly and attentive service and is a nice first or last stop on your trip to Japan.

This place was a godsend after 18 hours of uncomfortable travel before enduring another 6 hours to reach my destination. I walked in, the front desk attendant kindly showed me to a seat, and I ordered easily from a tablet. There were also countless plates of other dishes free to be taken and tabulated together at the end with the tablet-ordered dishes. The prices were quite decent for the quality and location, and I only spent so much because I also ordered so much. The sushi rice was a darker color than I am used to, and I am unsure of what they did to it, but I was delicious and the sushi chef did a great job with wasabi application. I did not like the uni very much, and perhaps that is just my personal taste, but I believe the green garnish was what had turned me off from it, rather than the uni itself. All in all, it was a great experience; even staff making the mistake of loudly dropping some plates was ultimately charming, as the other staff calmly made sure they were okay. I did not get the onion and mayo salmon dish but it nearly hypnotized me by the 6th time around the track.

The freshest sushi I have had for long time. The quality and speed. Service are at a top level!! I would come back again!!!

So pleased when we found out about this Halal restaurant at the airport. We saw it when we landed but didn't get to try it as we were rushing for a connecting flight. So we made sure to try it before we depart. Very good udon and tempura. Broth was flavorful and batter was just nice and crispy. They were all looking delicious and appetising so when tried one of each. The server prepared my order wrongly and she just tossed it and made a new one. Quite busy at times but queue was moving fast. Really recommended to try this before leaving Japan.

Delicious udon place at Narita Airport. I ordered Curry Chicken Udon for breakfast after a 6 hour flight. Even though the curry is thick, the taste is still light and the crispy crumbs (sorry I don't know what it's called) added the taste of saltiness.

This is very nice Halal food place at Neta Airport was a fantastic visit over here for me. The best part was that I could easily you know dining over here and enjoy the food. I really love the taste. It’s Halal Halal and that’s why it is the best one I love the food. Taste highly recommended for all the stuff everywhere to try the food over here reasonably priced. I’m in for an airport. This is far reasonably Prize great service by the staff the food is extremely tasty. Enjoy.

THE GOOD - everything is halal - everything is tasty (I recommend the grated yam udon, but really, everything here is tasty) - a must-visit place whenever you're in Narita airport - the observation deck is nearby. The airport was bustling with summer holiday travellers, and the atmosphere felt even livelier as Japan was in the midst of Ryo Taisai, a grand traditional festival. Amidst the excitement, our group of six made our way to Kineya Mugimaru, a halal-certified udon restaurant located on the 5th floor of Terminal 1. For me, this was more than just brunch—it was my first-ever dining experience in Japan, and I was eager to see how authentic Japanese flavours would translate in a halal setting. The moment we spotted the bold sign “All Our Food is Halal”, it instantly put us at ease. Stepping inside, we were greeted by a warm, wood-themed interior, softly lit with Japanese-style lamps, creating a balance between casual dining and a traditional touch. The service style here is straightforward and efficient, perfectly suited for travellers. You queue at the counter, choose your udon from the overhead menu, and then move along to select optional tempura or side dishes before paying. Watching the chefs at work behind the open counter was part of the charm—fresh noodles boiling, broth steaming, and toppings carefully prepared right before our eyes. I went for the Gyū Tororo Udon (牛とろろうどん), priced at JPY1,060. Self prepared steaming hot, with tender slices of beef laid neatly atop thick, springy udon noodles, all bathed in a light yet umami-rich broth. The beef was delicate in flavour but beautifully complemented by the savoury depth of the soup. The tororo (grated yam) added a unique, creamy, and slightly sticky texture that clung to the noodles, creating a comforting mouthfeel. Each bite was satisfying without being heavy, and the broth was so balanced that I found myself sipping it down to the last drop. Given its airport location, the quality and price felt like exceptional value. It wasn’t just the food—it was the experience of starting my Japan journey with something so warm, authentic, and travel-friendly. The restaurant’s spacious seating, calming atmosphere, and the reassurance of halal certification made it a perfect first stop after a long flight. Honestly the *best ramen* we had the whole trip!!! Also the gyozas are incredible- warm and juicy and crispy on the outside. The staff is super nice and service is fast and good. Really cool vibe i wish we could go there everyday.

We have had both shio and soy ramen, both were good tasting and well made. The service was quick and efficient. It was entertaining seeing the preparation of the fried rice, though the choreography accompanying it makes the hood slightly less effective.

i went study aboard starting from kyusyu. this is the Best ramen from the time i moved to Kanto Area. the soup is the best with various type of chasyu. you will experience a wierd type of chasyu when you chuumon their signature dish but it's so good. 1200 for this dish and it worth every penny

Went during the Gion festival. During festival season, I would assume it would be packed but didnt wait that long. Maybe it was because of the timing I went, the wantanmen was already sold out. Got the Toripaiton. It was probably one of the best I tried so far. Got all the toppings too. I would need to go back and try their other bowls.

If u want to get quick bite, this place is recommended. This restaurant serves a variety of Japanese food. The waiter told us the waiting time upon order is 20 minutes but it was less than that. Our food served taste good, will come again. Atmosphere is nice and place is clean. Waiters are able to converse in English

Early dinner before flying home to midnight. We actually ventured to Sky Food Court before coming to Yuzen. Keisei Yuzen has what you would call, washoku teishoku. I would not go out and say the food was great but it could be better. I went for a safe option of sukiyaki udon with a drink of sky cider. My mum had the tempura and sashimi set. On our return leg, I ordered a cute bento onboard AirJapan which was served closer to actual dinner time onboard.

First meal after reaching Japan. Limited restaurants at airport tried this due to the exterior shop deco displaying huge variety of Japan dishes. Actual menu however seems much smaller. Tried the recommend dishes - salmon ramen is flavourful without being too salty - salmon broth and cha siew slice all blend well. Their 100 hours curry with pork cutlet tasted good. Looking at other reviews glad have gone with their recommended dishes.

Our last meal at the airport before leaving Japan. I was expecting the worst but what we ordered turned out pretty good. The takoyaki was nice and crunchy and the grilled fish was a very generous serving and piping hot.

For those returning from years abroad, 吉野家 成田国際空港第2本館店 offers a sudden taste of home. The familiar aroma of simmered beef over rice is a simple yet profoundly comforting flavour memory that travels effortlessly across oceans. While eating in an airport setting, the cost seems reasonable — a small indulgence without an excessive burden — though attentive eyes will notice that it is slightly above everyday market prices. Nevertheless, the convenience and immediate reassurance of familiarity justify the slight premium. Each spoonful provides nourishment and nostalgia, reminding us that comfort can come in the simplest, most straightforward forms.

Definitely not the first choice for Ramen, as Yoshinoya prides itself with Gyudon (Beef Bowls). Yet this one strangely delivers very well. This is their Gyukotsu (Beef bone) Ramen only at selected stores nationwide. The broth is a bit sweet, and pretty hefty with all that swimming beef slices. Ajitamago though, was a bit hard (not on the jammy side). Unexpectedly a good Ramen bowl! They'd be a winner in my book if they served Gyukotsu Ramen in Yoshinoya Philippines!

My plane was boarding in 20 minutes, and I was feeling a bit famished. I ordered a small beef bowl and melon soda. The food came out promptly, and the rest of the experience was self-service. You get your utensils yourself, make your hot drinks yourself, and return the tray back to the kitchen yourself. The rice was warm, and the beef was quite generous, though I wasn't too concerned with the portion. I appreciated the fact that the food came quickly, which was perfect for my situation. The melon soda was a fun experiment at best, if I had more time I would settle with hot green tea instead. If you're ever in Terminal 2 Narita and you're strapped for time, this is a good place to have a quick meal.

Merits 5 stars for the service and convenience of location. The food is somewhere around 4 stars, but I gave 5 because it's a really good value for the money. I perused the shopping and restaurant area on the fourth floor level and decided to come back to Yoshinouya! I got a grilled beef rib and salty green onion bowl, one size up. Keep in mind that when you order you also have to choose a size. Restaurant staff speaks 90% Japanese but they can figure out what needs to be done, and the service is very brisk. Y820 total, not bad!

Food is the same quality as what they serve all over Japan. It also has quite the volume, considering the low price per meal. The menu while very broad and has a lot of options for toppibgs, does seem to be slightly more limited than in most stores within the city. This place might be a bit hard to find. It’s on the side of the terminal which has the Arrivals. The interior is quite spacious and brightly lit, with soft jazz playing in the background. If you have a big suitcase, there’s an area near the entrance you can leave it too. If it’s not big, the space in between tables are big enough for you to bring them near your table.

I love like sushi. So when we had a quick layover at Japan, this is what I really wanted to taste, you know an authentic sushi made in Japan. We don’t have a lot of time so we just fall in line in the take out sushi, choose which one we like, then pay. The sushi was so fresh that they advise people to eat it 30mins after buying. The presentation is really good, as well as the taste. The miso soup is also nice and warm. This serving is good for 2-3 people.

This place claims to be the last decent sushi stop before leaving Japan, and it is indeed so. The sushi is not cheap, but it is awfully tasty, and the service is great. Many types of tuna sushi and sashimi are available here, although other seafood is available, too.

If you crave for a final hit of sushi before leaving Japan, this is a good place to fulfil it. It's not the cheapest sushi you'll get (it is in an airport), but it's seriously good and the view is unparalleled.

Nice place to have a final sushi meal in Japan before boarding. Everything I ate was very fresh. Since it is an airport restaurant, the food is pricier. The service was amazing and very efficient. If you don’t have half an hour to sit and eat there is to-go sushi at the front of the restaurant. There are limited spaces to put your luggage that doesn’t obstruct your view if you sit at the area in front of the window.

Went here for a quick dinner and had some fatty tuna and tuna rolls. Food came quickly and the food was delicious. We were glad we got to experience one last really good sushi before heading back home.

They sell wide variant of red bean rice cake. A good place to pick gift for your loved ones.

Best place to buy Chiba sweets especially “ Nago” milk which is similar to Torimon Fukouka Although Chiba is famous for peanut product, I still recommend Nago milk (see 2nd picture ) over Peanut sweet ( see third picture ) , guess I’m not a fan of peanut flavour.

We came in for air conditioning. We left with belief. On a sticky Narita summer afternoon (the kind where your shirt gives up before you do) we ducked into here purely for survival. Cold air? Check. Calm vibes? Check. Accidental life-changing snack discovery? Oh yes. Front & center: daifuku. Soft, pillowy mochi wrapped around sweet red bean paste that’s smooth, not cloying, and clearly made by people who take texture personally. These aren’t “cookies” in the Western sense...they’re better. Think dessert minimalism: rice, beans, restraint, perfection. The kind of thing you eat and immediately resent every snack you’ve ever overcomplicated. The shop itself is spotless, serene, and quietly confident...no hard sell, just a gentle Try Me! sign that knows it doesn’t need to shout. Staff are welcoming without hovering. The whole place feels like it’s been doing this well for a very long time, because it has. Come for the AC. Stay for the daifuku. Leave wondering why red bean paste isn’t running the global dessert economy.

The largest souvenir shop on the worship path. There's also a simple restaurant located within the rear end of the shop. Hot noodle soup could be served here on the cold winter days. Very fair price comparing to those eel restaurants at the tourist price tag. Lots of gift choices to pick up from this spot too. Accept cash and major credit cards.

ART Hotel Narita has dated rooms that could benefit from renovation. The highlight of our stay was the massage service at the spa. The masseur was very experienced, and it was a truly relaxing experience. A convenient feature is the Family Mart located in the lobby, which makes it easy to grab supplies without having to leave the hotel, especially given the low walkability of the area. There is also a split laundry facility for male and female guests. The hotel is functional and offers some useful amenities, but the rooms could use an update.

VALUE for Money! Free shuttle service from Narita airport. Nice landscape and design Very affordable for its location. Only 20-25 mins from airport. Certain rooms look dated but can’t complain for the price you paid. Have a convenience store within the hotel which is a great plus point I would certainly stay here again

I stayed at this hotel 7th - 9th April 2025 with my children. Wow it was absolutely an incredible experience with the best staff, the great location (near Narita airport) AND the wonderful hot bath!!!!!! My children and I enjoyed the stay there so much!!!! We thought we should have had one more night to enjoy the hot bath and interacting with the wonderful staff there. I really hope they will never change although the over-tourism has been a horrible concern 😢 We especially truly appreciate the staff there. Thank you so much for your kindness and genuine hospitality ❤️

We checked in late and left early for a flight. I’m glad we did not stay long. The attendants were very nice and accommodating. My only issue is the actual room. Agoda has very false advertising on their garden view room. I don’t recommend. I understand that this was very affordable for the location, but the rooms are GROSS! They’re very old and not clean. Just about everything looked dirty except the bedding. Pretty sure one of the walls had mold on it. The room smelt musty and the bathroom floor would flood with the shower water. The airport shuttle was the only thing that was nice. Glad we were only here to crash for a short time.
