The noodle here is a bit different from the usual udon. Taste wise it’s okay, but definitely comforting in cold weather. However, some of the tempura batter wasn’t very crisp when served.

Uniquely thick udon made from a more dark/grainy flour (whole wheat?). It's a nice break from traditional udon. The tendon is also recommended. Certainly a good value for the price. Warning: This shop is inside the turnstiles, so you can't find it once you exit the station.

This restaurant, located inside JR Tachikawa Station, serves Musashino Udon, a rural Tachikawa udon. I'd never tried Musashino Udon before, so I was curious and stopped in. The noodles were heavier than they looked, with a rugged texture that felt chewy. I don't mind saying this, but those who like soft udon might be surprised. If you order a large portion, it's so tender it'll tire your jaw (lol). I ordered the restaurant's recommended dish, the meat broth udon. The thick but gentle dipping sauce is complemented by the umami of pork, and the unique sweetness goes perfectly with the noodles. I sat at the island counter, which has been carefully designed so that you don't have to face the person across from you, so even a female dining alone can enjoy the restaurant without feeling uncomfortable. Now that I'm curious, I'll try a different udon next time. (lol)

We stumbled across this place thanks to a train delay—and honestly, we couldn’t be happier it happened. The atmosphere is warm and rustic, instantly inviting, and the food quality is absolutely phenomenal. The seasonal recommendations menu is truly something to believe in; every dish felt thoughtful and perfectly executed. An unexpected find that turned into a great spot we’d gladly return to. I need to also highlight that the service was equally as impressive and felt genuinely welcoming and attentive.

Visiting here whenever I come to Tachikawa. All of the pizza I tried were tasty. They always ask if you have allergy and check all the ingredients of the dishes, inform you according to that. Will be back!

After a long day at work, I joined my colleagues here and somehow ended up having one of the best pizza-and-tiramisu combos. Add a very good bottle of wine and a proper limoncello to close the night ...and suddenly Tachikawa felt more like somewhere in Europe (and if we were a bit noisy… consider it cultural exchange. We might have been operating on Italian/European mode. Hopefully it added energy instead of causing trouble). The service was excellent, with refreshingly smooth English and a genuinely joyful vibe. It was honestly the highlight of my week stay. A totally unexpected little slice of familiarity in a totally unexpected place. Japan surprises you like that sometimes. A few playful (and loving) suggestions to boost the Italian spirit even more - as I may have already mentioned while there 😉 1. Roberto Baggio deserves a spot next to Maradona plate. Or… bold move… replace him. 2. Don’t be shy with a casual “prego” or “grazie” every now and then. 3. And please - invest in some limoncello shot glasses. This is important business:) Ci vediamo alla prossima pizza 😉

Great high quality restaurant. The price doesn't represent how good it is. The carpaccio tapa that the waiter recommended was fantastic. The pumpkin Bolognese was spectacular and the pizza ingredients are all made in horse it seems. Highly recommend and we WILL be returning some time.

Just amazing! Went with a friend yesterday and had the best moment! The staff was so nice and really helpful (the blanket for the bag omg) and the food was delicious !! Will definitely come back

Great place where they ask if you have any allergies. So you will feel safe eating the food. And you MUST try the CHOCOLATE DUMPLINGS. They are the best food in the world.

Great dim sum chain in Tachikawa! I went here for dinner on a Tuesday and was surprised to find it to have no wait at all. Our favorites were the soup dumplings - they have a big variety with some Japan specific ingredients. We also really enjoyed the shrimp fritter with spicy Mayo dish. Definitely recommend!

This place can get very busy, with a long line outside of the restaurant. It is located on the 9th floor inside the mall. The food is definitely worth the wait. Their dessert dumplings are good, especially the strawberry/chocolate, but they are seasonal. My favorites are their Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), shrimp spring roll, and their plum wine. The fried rice is pretty plain compared to other places, but sometimes simplicity is just the right amount of flavor, especially when paired with their other offerings. Definitely give this place a try, if you’re in Tachikawa.

Very nice! Same quality as the branches in Taiwan. In Japan, there are many localised fillings for dessert dumplings and buns! Nice staff, great environment and good service

If you are used to Singapore ding tai fung then. Japan's ding tai fung is going to taste different. It has been heavily modified for Japan market.

Our lunch at this Italian-style restaurant in the BIC Camera building was a good one. It's a fantastic spot for family dining, offering a warm, friendly environment and delicious food that beckons you back for another visit. Definitely a recommended go-to place for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal in a family-friendly setting.

Horrible restaurant layout, which means most people can only sit on a table of 2. Waited nearly 2 hours to be seated this Saturday even though my name was 4th on the waitlist (family of 3). They called literally every other customer who was only 1-2 people because most tables aren’t properly situated so anyone with 2+ people has to wait a long time. Absolutely horrible. Also many school kids sit at the tables barely ordering anything and wasting time and space. There is no time limit as it seems so people aren’t going home. Refurb the restaurant properly so tables can be pulled apart and put together when needed. And put a bloody time limit especially at busy times! This is why I now hate coming to Saizeriya and only do it rarely. Food is good and price point is okay.

very economical pasta place !! tried the meat sauce pasta with the half-cooked egg, which tasted decent not somewhere i would go again or go out of my will to eat at, but definitely a convenient and reliable restaurant

It's on the eighth floor of the box camera building. You can take a lift or the escalator. Like a very normal saizeriya. The staff was nice. I went around 4pm, it was quite crowded but luckily I got a seat. I got the usual Doria and mushroom pizza that I really like. I payed around 900 yen for that. Recommended for cheap quick food!

Good value for money! Generous servings for the price. Get the teishoku (set) for a lot of little plates and different tastes. Delicious! Udon is their specialty. Peaceful ambience and attentive staff.

Nothing too special here. Good cold zaru-soba. But unfortunately, the smoking area is mixed in with the rest of the seating.

The ambience is better than your average saizeriya! Super cheap, serviceable enough food as always. Recommend the cheap wine they have. Just gobble some down.

It's my first time to eat here at this saizeriya, there are too many people, so I have to wait before getting a seat. their staff are nice, this restaurant is just noisy, because there are many students so I can't relax while eating.

Well, first of all this place has only French fries and Salad as Vegetarian options, the bread of garlic toast contains egg. But at least one staff speaks English so, you can actually explain what you want. Soft Drinks are as much as you want under 299 Yen, and staff is extra helpful. Quality of service is good, veg food options limited and Drinks bar under 300 Yen. Ambience is plush and location is easy to notice from the metro station.

Great place for breakfast, not many around open as early. Very helpful waitress. Wifi and phone charging point provided. Very spacious place comparing to typical local restaurants.

On 23rd March, my wife and I visited here for our dinner. About two years, we never had this meals in Edinburgh, Scotland yet. shellfishes and fishes were so fresh. All meals were so nice. And staff lady was very kind. We felt very comfortable. Looking forward to visiting again before return to Edinburgh soon. Thank you!

I like this casual atmosphere and interior. However, they are a bit pricey for a franchise Izakaya and meals themselves are also ordinary. I'm also not happy with this Japanese table charge system which is called Otoshi.

Great seafood izakaya with a robust food and drink selection. They have several floors with lots of tables, so seating is rarely a problem. The restaurant is a short walk from the north exit of Tachikawa Station and easy to find, definitely worth a visit.

Isomaru is a chain with decent seafood. Fatty salmon, sashimi, grilled scallops are all good and reasonably priced. Service was ok, a bit inattentive - everyone was under 20 years old, so had to ask them to clear plates etc.

Conveyor belt sushi train. Situated on top floor with way more room than it appeared to have from the outside. Be careful....because everything is SOOOOO good you will easily spend lot of yen. Great choice of food and desserts and loved the tablet and smartphone option to order.

Pretty good for a 100円 sushi restaurant. On top of the typical conveyor belt sushi selections, there's a separate conveyor belt for your on-demand orders, which come fairly quickly. Not to mention, right at your table, you can dispose your dishes while playing a game... of sort. Input enough dishes and you'll even win a prize. Nice! :)

The sushi is delicious. We went there because of Kimetsu no yaiba merch. We had fun but we won just once!

A nice neighborhood conveyer sushi place. All the plates are covered for hygiene. The fish is not the best, but not bad. Drinks took a very long time, but the waitstaff were very nice and attentive. Would eat here again, but not with an out of town guest.
