It's a very elegant place. We had breakfast here. We tried tea, coffee and two kinds of breakfast. We were satisfied with all of them. The staff is very sweet. The place is clean. The location is also central. I think you should go here.

I really enjoyed visiting this Parisian style cafe in the heart of Bratislava. The cups of chocolate are absolutely delicious. I had white chocolate with fruits which was to die for.

My husband and I ate breakfast at Mondieu twice during our visit to Bratislava, and this coffee place/restaurant deserves every bit of praise it receives. The plates featured impeccable presentation with visually stunning arrangements. But more importantly, the cuisine tasted as delightful as it looked. Each dish offered an abundance of flavours that impressed our palates. The service also matched the quality of food, with a friendly staff quick to meet our needs. Veronika and Anna especially made a wonderful impression with their warm hospitality. I wish we had a Mondieu in England to frequent more regularly. For any visitors to Bratislava, I would enthusiastically recommend this gem that exceeds expectations with scrumptious food and hospitable service. This is a place not to be missed when savouring the city's offerings.

Really nice and chill cafe at a busy, historic place. Perfect to have a coffee, a nice cake, watch people passing by and swimming in the vibe of the city. My waitress was Kateryna, she was amazing! Super charismatic and Sympathic - fast, helpful, really nice and professional! Would recommend to come here and if you are lucky, she will be your waitress. :)

Mon Dieu, qu'est-ce que c'est bon! We had breakfast here. They have a great variety of fresh juice (orange, grapefruit, carrot and apple juice). We had a croissant with ham and cheese, porridge and bread with avocado cream and salad. Everything was very, very delicious. The cappuccino with oat milk was excellent (more than 4 € though). The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We loved this place!

Me and my husband had an incredible vegan English breakfast in here. It was definitely the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Perfect location, very nice and helpful staff, beautiful coffee and perfect taste of music!!! Honestly, do go! Thank you so much. Julia and David

We thought this restaurant was so good that we went here twice on our day trip to Bratislava. The food and drinks were all delicious! Very nice and fast service. The outside seating has a view of a charming street and the tower. Must visit when in Bratislava!

Wow! I was really blown away by everything!!! The location is on the main touristy strip, but this place has amazing dishes at reasonable prices! The flavors were amazing and the versatility of dishes was great for meat eaters and vegans! We were able to sit outside and everything was super pleasant. We got the burger, ribs, pita and vegetables, rice noodle dish, hummus, and passion fruit lemonade. Everything was so delicious. Our server, Ander, was really nice and was able to speak Spanish to my boyfriends parents who don’t speak any English. Thank you for a great experience!

Considering this is bistro, the food was nice. I liked the pancakes but based on my dads comments on English breakfast he was not a fan of it, „it wasn’t as usual as the English breakfast you would be served somewhere else”. The food was a bit cold, and the wait was kind of long, but overall we had a nice breakfast. I would rate it a as a 7/10 (with bonus point for pancakes)

Nice cosy place that have both indoor and outdoor dining. Had a nice lunch there and I loved the Chicken Rice Bow as it has a lot of freshly shredded cucumber, carrot, lettuce and other vegetables… the bowl cost 11.50 Euro.

My favorite place in Bratislava. Outdoor seat is amazing. We drank beer and Mojito then enjoy view to the city. Highly recommend

The worst experience ever! The waiter ( bold with glasses) misunderstood our order, brought us 1 langoos too much and didn’t want to take it back to the kitchen. Really rude behavior! Food was really nice but doesn’t make up for the terrible stuff.

This café is an important part of everyday life of people who live/work in the area. Even though the interior is old school, this place has its own charm. Whether you go around in the morning, evening, during the week or on a weekend, you will always find many people sitting inside or outside. The service is fast, the staff is nice, the coffee is good and suspiciously cheap for Bratislava (this is not a complaint). The disadvantage is that you can only pay in cash and you can only sit outside with your dog.

I really liked the establishment, the atmosphere of Italy is really felt, and the visitors feel it, which allows them to feel more free, this place is really a piece of Italy in Bratislava. I really liked it.

What pet friendly...the staff isn't even human friendly. The lady who served me talked to me as if I am asking for a free drink or may be because I am brown she felt offended (pity). Then I got a cappuccino which was just done because I paid(in pic). The place is beautiful and the cappuccino is quite okay but staff is just not interested. I hope it is not the Italian way.

We had a great experience. Great cappuccino and fairly priced relative to other hip places charging double. The food was great, came out quickly and the staff were friendly. We were surprised by the low average rating as we would normally be put off by this but don’t be deceived and try this place for breakfast

We had a nice breakfast in this place - the coffee was great, the service good and attentive and our food was nicely cooked. Just a note to say that the menus shown in other reviews here no longer apply and the menu (attached) now shows a different name and has a lot fewer options than what we expected based on reviewes as recent as 3 months ago. Not a criticism as we had a good meal but just thought I’d highlight the change.

A great place. The drinks and food were delicious. And the girl who served us was very nice and polite. We didn't speak Slovak and she served us in English very nicely. Total recommendation.

We had a lovely breakfast here as a family of four. Cool decor, great music in the backround. Staff was friendly and attentive. We had pancakes, french toast, a pesto egg dish, chai latte's and coffees. The portions were large and it averaged about 10eu per person, more than affordable considering the portion sizes as well as the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend!

Really nice and cozy place 5 minutes from the train station, I had croissant with ham and cheese and pretty good espresso tonic. Together 5,5€.

Great service, they were not too busy to find a seat. Brynza dumplings (halusky) were great.

Very good food - had the duck leg with red cabbage, blonde beer, and gnocchi. All were excellently prepared. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff. Prices might be a little high, but a great experience.

Possibly the best meal we had on out holiday(beef cheek) This is a nice little restaurant just off the old Town that was well appointed and offered a nice view looking into the town and beyond. A great menu on offer and a wide variety or drinks are available too. Service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommended.

slow service, they seated us without telling us that half the menu was sold out. We left paying only for what we drank, while we were at the checkout we saw the dishes that we would have liked to order but which we were told it was not possible to have. bad experience

Very good cafe, cats are very well looked after, no hard sell. Hostess was very helpful and kind. Cats are free to walk around and have escape areas if they want no fuss. It's very quiet and peaceful. Good coffee and people say working on laptops whilst cats roam and play. Great place!

It is a nice place to take a break from the city noise. You are in good company here. The items are affordable, the coffee is hot, the cakes are sweet and the cats are cute and affectionate, especially Izzy.

Relaxing atmosphere and very welcoming. We enjoyed a drink whilst admiring the cats sleeping and roaming around. The cats are very content and let you stroke them, even whilst they sleep.

Super cute Cat Cafe with many furry inhabitants 🐈 the service lady was very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The kitties are too cute and you can pet them, they seem very relaxed and approachable. Unfortunately the Matcha wasn‘t very tasty.

Nice and quite place for coffee. Very polite service and cute variety of cat related merchandise. Cat are very quiet, they do not interact almost at all with humans, but this is very logical. Just imagine yourself at their shoes 😜

Always a pleasure here. I like to come here no matter the season. Never too late or too early for pancakes:). This place has taught me to love salty pancakes even more than the sweet one. It's a whole new experience. I love the atmosphere here as well, it's a very cozy place:)

Stopped here on a food tour and it was great. Had the poppy seed and white chocolate pancake and the elderflower lemonade and it was great. High-quality ingredients, expertly prepared, and well-served. Had a nice cafe feel to it as well. Americans take note: the pancakes are more like crepes than what we traditionally call pancakes.

*They do have the menus in English, so no need to take the pics and translate it via the app :D* Amazing pancakes (the thin variety to make it clear), very filling and delicious (probably stick to 3 in your order - 4th one was a tiny bit of a push 😅) Salted caramel one was god-tier, if I'm ever back in town, I'm having it again. Local herbal cola sweetened with honey and is also very nice and refreshing to go with them. Cushy pillows on the wall seats are perfect to fall behind on once you're done :) (the ones I ordered were salted caramel, caramel mascarpone, tiramisu and pistachio)

A restaurant that serves sweet and savory pancakes and waffles? I’m there. My wife, six-year-old daughter, and I walked in for lunch around 11 a.m. on a Friday in June. We got the last indoor table. The menu is large, but we opted for the fried egg, ham and cheese pancake, the kids sweet pancake, the Nutella and raspberry pancake and the lemon pancake. Each was very tasty! It’s not super filling, but still worth it. Service is fast and kind and our entire meal with three seasonal lemonades came to 25 Euros. The atmosphere is cozy and there are clean restrooms.

Nice cosy place and definitely not expensive! 2-3 savoury pancakes are great for a filling meal (or 1-2 as a snack/dessert) and they are 3-3.50 euro each with a great variety!

I have been to this place many times. It is not fine dining, but the restaurant has always had combination of good prices and large portions. The interior is a little odd, the new parts look different from the older ones and the staff is moody. However, I definitely recommend it if you like traditional dishes.

Nice restaurant close to the city center in Bratislava. The Gulasch was a big portion and tasted really nice. Together with the beer I paid around 15 euros. I will probably repeat!

Very nice place To eat and drink while sightseeing. We have been well served. Staff are nice and helpful. Also waiting time was short. Food is avesome. Big meals and very good meals and great beer. Halušky is a must eat meal. I really glad to be here. Also Kapustnica soup is very good. Maybe i Will cook it myself soon. And strongly recommend to visit. I Hope I will return here in future.

We were glad we visited this place. Priced competitively. The food was prepped well and portions were just right. We were able to pay separately using credit cards. A huge plus. The waitress was so very nice ! Highly recommended

Bookstore with a wide range of books to buy or read in the chairs. They have also a cafe in the upper level, where you can read a book while you drink a coffee. For tourists, you can find a section in the lower level with books in English. I enjoyed a lot!

Amazing place! enormous bookstore, with a section of english books at the entrance, so even if you're not slovak you can get something to read. I'm an exchange student here in Bratislava so that's great for me and so is the very nice café above. They have free and fast WiFi and really nice jasmin tea 🥰

Very nice place for book lovers. You can find english books in this store also, souvenirs and similar things. Inside the place, on the upper flor is nice caffe.

On a rainy day, I went outside to explore Bratislava, i got quite drenched and cold that instead of walking back to my hostel, I chose a bookstore for a cup of coffee and randomly picked a book. Before I knew it, it was 8 pm and one of the workers told me that the place was getting closed. I did the same the next day as well and don't regret it all. The bookstore is co cozy, warm, clean, and full of options to read, even in English. The staff is very polite and helpful. Perfect place to read a book or work in their cafe, which serves great coffee. Would definitely recommend u coming here during a cold winter evening.

I love their staff. Kindest workers in Bratislava. If I hear a mobbing to those people, I will protest this store.
