1 year ago Alexandra Peradescribed this experience as follows:

Very cozy unique place, you feel like in the countryside! They serve excellent coffee from Mama Coffee. There’s a cute little outdoor terrace, beside the stream that runs there. The inside is interesting and historical. The water mill is beautiful. The food wasn’t great to be honest… but their coffee is good, as well as affogato, and big teas.

1 year ago David Meyerhow did he rate it?

We went in there for a few beers and it was worth it. Nice cosy, arty place with the cutest stuff which manages to be friendly to the customers and to each other even of it is really busy. You can also order a drink and enjoy it outside in the park in front of the place. The only negative thing to tell would be, that its really noisy down there.

11 months ago Sara- why does he think this place is on the list?

You know it's a good place when you are one of the few tourists that know this spot. Great personal, great food, great beers, great prices. Thanks ❤️

10 months ago Bastien Wengersaid the following about this gem:

Very nice and cozy place where everything I tried was good and everyone was friendly. Highly recommended. My friend and I went there 3 times even though we were only in Prague for 5 days.

11 months ago Timothy Wetsteijnexplained best how he liked it:

Super nice hidden gem in Prague. A place where you can mingle with locals and enjoy a good pint of beer and a lovely daily soup. You can play a game of chess or another board game. I really liked the chill vibe.

A very nice cafe in a very central location. You just sit and enjoy people walking by, trams passing by. The staff here is really helpful and energetic. They do their best to give the perfect service. I strongly recommend this one instead of others

Freshly renovated store located in the heart of Prague near Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. Respectfully represents the Starbucks brand, which opened its first store in the Czech Republic on January 22, 2008.

What did i like: the band! It is concert place, ao you'll be enjoying the event What went wrong: stranger security at the entrance: they had a doubt if i can enter with water, but they don't sell water inside. Another cons is ceiling height, on the scene especially, you can easily hit it id you jump

1 year ago Steve Kyneevaluates this place as follows:

I only found out about this venue on my last night in Prague and that is a pity. It is cavernous and rabbit-warren like, but keep going and you will find the stage. Having read other reviews on here I was expected a very low stage, but it was not. It was probably 75cm off the floor and it afforded good views of the band if you were anywhere in front of the sound desk. I love live music, and am so pleased that a) this venue existed and b) it had a performance on a Tuesday evening when most venues would be dark. And to add to the list of pluses, the bar prices were better than reasonable; and (this will shock you for Prague) the staff were very hospitable. Love Rock Cafe and will be returning before too long.

1 year ago Early Gravewhat can I say about this place?

Pros: Not bad rock bar. Alcohol selection is decent, and staff were friendly. Relaxed atmosphere with nice patrons. Cons: Music could be mixed better. Too much mixer in tall glasses when drinking spirits. The air-con needs to be fixed as the place was a sauna.

1 year ago Vlada Nedvedhow did he rate it?

Legendary Prague rock club since 1990! Located in the most city centre. One concert and one theatre hall. Though both rather small. Fine chillout area and gallery. Two bars with skilled and friendly staff. They have Czech Budvar on tap but also very good Brewdog IPA. RockCafe never disappoints..

1 year ago Lily Asaid the following about this gem:

It wasn't bad, the venue itself, but you need to choose the bands you're going to listen to. We walked in purely by chance and still had a good time 😌

This place is in my TOP 5 for breakfast or brunch. Beautiful surroundings, attentive service and perfect food! I can recommend eggs benedict and strawberry waffles for myself. Yummy!❤️ It is better to make a reservation in advance, this place is always fully booked. In the summer, you can sit outside and have breakfast next to the river and the view of the Prague Castle.

1 year ago Sure Ma- why does he think this place is on the list?

Loved the breakfast. We were a big group and had no reservation. Tried: egg Benedict, avo & egg, omelette, cheese croissant, whole wheat waffle, waffle with mascarpone cheese and strawberries, apricot pancakes, smetanaQ egg, chai latte, americano and pumpkin spice latte. The staff were generous and offered us another waffle with strawberries. Definitely worth visiting 💯

10 months ago Paul DeVito- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

This place was a great find! Breakfast and vibes were fantastic! They have filter coffee too if that’s important to you. Mine was slightly underextracted but still good

1 year ago Amir Cohendescribed this experience as follows:

The place is full of light and super welcoming. As you step in you get fresh and light warm vibes. It looks clean, warm. Please mind that this place is pretty full so you might want to consider reserve a place before visiting. Though the place offer outside seats which mostly available, the inside of the place is the welcoming and preferable for most people. We got coffee which was decent and pancakes which was good. The lancake itself made well buf if youre more of a chocolate style lovers this might not be the right choice for you as its more fruity and less chocolate vibes. Its a great place for morning coffee with a good bite when you feel for more vibes and not just a cup of coffee alone.

1 year ago Jenyfer Montesevaluates this place as follows:

High quality ingredients, very fulfilling. Loved the waffle with strawberries and coffee. A bit pricey for Prague, 2 can eat well of one breakfast menu.

6. place belongs to Lehká hlava - vegetarian restaurant

Lehká hlava - vegetarian restaurant
We rate 9.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 3180-times

What our travelers says:

11 months ago Gaurav Bansalwhat can I say about this place?

Excellent quality of food. Perfect place for vegetarian and vegan as well. Each dish had its own unique taste and I could feel each ingredient. The seating was beautiful ambient lighting and comfortable wooden chairs. Staff was polite and service was quick. Mid range pricing and definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

11 months ago Shawn Chow did he rate it?

Very creative and affordable vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Everything is at least vegetarian (anything vegetarian can be ordered as vegan if asked) and a number of the dishes are naturally vegan. Of the dishes ordered, I would get the Clear Head burger again, otherwise I would pick different options for the apps and entrees. The menu has plenty of options so I’ll have to come back and try some of the other dishes. Service and atmosphere are good—note that there is a limited menu in the late afternoon until 5:30 in which some of the entrees are unavailable. Must-go for vegetarians and vegans, but 4-stars for this go-around since the crackling, soup, and meatballs were so-so.

10 months ago Matthewevaluates this place as follows:

A lovely vegetarian restaurant in the centre of Prague. Although hidden away from the main streets, Clear Head is a great place to visit. Upon entering you are greeted by very friendly and accommodating staff, and once seated you find yourself in an atmosphere that is very warm and cosy which creates a great dining experience! The food is very tasty, I ordered the Spinach Chimney for main, which was followed by the vegan snicker bar for dessert and everything for very tasty. A little more expensive than some other restaurants in the area, however, the food, atmosphere and service are definitely worth the money you are paying and would definitely visit again next time in Prague!

11 months ago Claire Grootveldsaid the following about this gem:

Would definitely recommend to visit this restaurant during your trip in Prague! We decided that this was the best restaurant we have eaten the whole weekend we’ve been here. The no-duck main course and traditional recipe were the best. We had the Snickers bar as a shared desert, which was delicious. Would recommend to make a reservation. Vegetarian restaurant with plenty of vegan options available. ✨

10 months ago Dala Rifatexplained best how he liked it:

The first restaurant we visisted during our last trip to Prague, and it set up the standard so high. We came with luggages and they were nice enough to store the luggage for us while we dined. Interior was T.O.P and felt magical. Food was amazing, loved how unique each of the food was. Thinking about it now judt make me hungry again ^^ For the price is a bit expensive compare to the other restaurants but worth the experience.

Very friendly staff and a very cool interior. The food was amazing and the service was very good. If you are looking for a great burger. Look no further. Also, the truffle chips was out of this world! Will definitely visit again!

1 year ago Eva Minaříkováwhat can I say about this place?

Amazing burgers! One of my top favorites in Prague for which I come again regularly. Great sweet potatoes and great truffle potato chips. The service was nice and fast. Recommended

1 year ago Albert Tedjadiputrawrote only this for this place:

There is no doubt that this place is famous for its burgers and sandwiches. Every Monday, the store is closed for business. As surprising as it may seem, the tartare truffle sandwich is rather tasty, despite the fact that it is blue or uncooked The staff are very helpful and friendly. A card transaction can be made here through the use of an electronic card.

11 months ago Ladislav Kubešwrote only this for this place:

Great burger place to go. They have a lot options to choose from. Burgers are tasty and you can even order naked burgers for those who don’t love the bun that much.

1 year ago Michael Erlikhmanexplained best how he liked it:

Their burger is awesome! Take the menu option and get their fries as well as a small coleslaw salad. The service is great and friendly as well!

4. place - Good Food Coffee & Bakery

Good Food Coffee & Bakery
We rate 8.6/10!. This place was visited and rated 3657-times

What our travelers says:

11 months ago Loan Nguyensaid the following about this gem:

Guided by glowing reviews, I found my way to this chimney cake shop among the many in town, and it didn't disappoint. The variety is great, many options to choose from, and the ice cream is delightful. We haven’t tried elsewhere in Prague so it’s hard to say this is the best place. But overall, we were satisfied and came back here twice during our brief stay.

11 months ago Laura Millroydescribed this experience as follows:

Super cool spot for a funnel cake and all can be made gluten free! They make them all freshly and you can watch them making all different types while you wait. I had the snickers one and it was really tasty. There was a bit too much ice cream but it was light and the salted caramel was well balanced. There was quite a queue but it moves quickly

1 year ago Naeem Sulehri- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

I believe it's the finest chimney cake in town. This is my second visit to Prague, and I've enjoyed it twice. The combination of the bread and ice cream offers a distinctive flavor. We ordered for pistachio and chocolate flavor, both were equally delicious. The portion size is quite big for one person. The seating area inside is quite narrow , and it's consistently crowded. Payment can be made using both credit and Visa cards.

10 months ago Nandita Vwrote only this for this place:

Variety is great but the chimney cake itself wasn't freshly made and hence quite dense for us. There is mostly a huge line at this place likely because of their varieties. The prices are all right. The gelato inside the chimney cake was very delicious. We tried the double pistachio and King- the pista didn't disappoint. Limited seating is available inside.

11 months ago &Tilly [andtillycom]said the following about this gem:

A nice shop that lured us with the variety of tastes. I like that a lot, however you have to expect higher, ‘touristy’ prices, and the small space can get quite crowded quickly. I would appreciate the cake being warm (it wasn’t), but in general it was nice, very filling.

Café Café

What our travelers says:

10 months ago Jisoo Lee- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

This place ranks in the top 1% of all the chocolate lattes, lattes, and cakes I've tried🥹 The staff is friendly, and the place gives off a warm vibe. When I asked what the most delicious cake was, they recommended the one in the picture, and it was truly delicious. It's a soft cake with a hint of banana flavor, which I also recommend! If you need a break or something sweet, you should definitely visit this place! 😃👍🏻

1 year ago Roberto Cattiexplained best how he liked it:

The place is nice and the service is great. Unfortunately the food doesn't match the expectations. I ordered an avocado toast with poached egg. There was one hard boiled egg, the avocado was simply sliced and pretty tough and the bread was a simple slice of mushy white bread. Also we ordered orange juice mixed with grapefruit but they brought us only orange juice.

1 year ago Ennunexplained best how he liked it:

We went over for lunch! The place was pretty full, but they still had some tables so we sat very fast. The food was really delicious, as were the drinks. The staff was really nice as well. The prices weren't the cheapest, but considering the placement of the restaurant, it was expected. Overall, very good!

1 year ago Diep Nguyendescribed this experience as follows:

Food was so good!! My husband got a piece of cake, and I got the French toast. We also got some coffee drinks. The menu has lots of good items, so it was very hard to choose!! There are sweet things, but also savory if you’re into that. I wished I add more space for more cake. The French toast was made using a croissant, which gave it a unique taste — something I’ve never seen before. So hop on over and give this place a try. It gets busy so go earlier to get a table.

1 year ago Irem Demirwrote only this for this place:

Lovely place with good food. They have various delicious cakes. They also serve breakfast and their egg dishes were tasty. We ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, sausage with beans, croissant filled with bacon and eggs.

Found this restaurant wondering around. Service was friendly, her recommendations on the Veal Goulash was spot on. The drinks we made well along with the desserts. You must try the Sweet Buns with cream and strawberries. Delicious. The ambiance was nice, lots of locals and tourists.

Authentic basement PIVNICE in the center of Malá Strana. Guláš and vepřový bok were great but stay away from “halušky”. Beautiful atmosphere, attentive staff. Huge tables that can be put together and accommodate party of 20. There is a restaurant, coffee place, wine place and pivnice all in the same building. Choose what fits you the best 😀

1 year ago Ioana J- why does he think this place is on the list?

We had some delicious traditional czech food. Prices were fair and the location is great. Definitely recommend trying the goulash and the duck leg confit.

1 year ago Sophiewrote only this for this place:

We visited for dinner and I had the tastiest goulash I've eaten in Prague, it wasn't overly rich and the dumplings weren't too heavy. My husband had the schnitzel and said this was tasty. Our server was pleasant and made sure we always had enough to drink

10 months ago neetu ahuja srustiwrote only this about this place:

The place itself is really beautiful and very vintage. This place feels like a fancy restaurant with very high prices, even though the prices are honest. The hot chocolate was good, I've had better. The service was a bit slow, we needed to wait a long while before anybody arrived to take our order, but it was understandable as we went on Christmas and the place was packed. Overall, Café Louvre was a pretty nice place, worth to visit at least once.

10 months ago Maria Paula Costa- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Incredible café with a very pleasant atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and highly efficient service. I ordered an espresso that was tasty, and we played pool in the space they provide. Highly recommend; I could spend hours in this place.

1 year ago Jenny Lawdescribed this experience as follows:

We came here for lunch and managed to get ourselves a table next to the window. Had the waiter to get our order once we have decided on our meals and drinks. Grand cappuccino was good, very nice coffee. Cake was good too, breaded turkey fillet taste great too but the taste and texture of the pork could be made better, it was not tender enough so the texture was a bit too dry, the mashed potato that came with it tasted great though. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

10 months ago Aveeka N. Boscherevaluates this place as follows:

This cafe is a gem deserving of recommendations, especially if you order the right things. The hot chocolate is a delight for chocolate enthusiasts; its thickness and richness make you think of Angelina Paris. The chocolate cake is delicately balanced in sweetness. I also enjoyed the traditional Czech fish dish served on Christmas. What truly sets this establishment apart is the amazing service (maybe I got lucky) but I sat near the kitchen/entry and the staff that worked on Christmas for that space was amazing. I also like that you can go in the evening, if you have late night cravings. Went twice and would go back again if I get the chance. #prague #cafe #hotchocolate
