What our travelers says:

3 years ago Y. C.- why does he think this place is on the list?

Everything is in Czech, you need to use google translation, but it’s fine —— the collection is AMAZING and you MUST VISIT THIS! They have tour guide but we were in a rush so didn’t ask for it, otherwise the visit could be nicer :) + SUPER friendly staff. The granny was so sweet and we felt super welcomed :) + can use credit card and they have some cool souvenir, but you need to purchase before 5:30 otherwise may miss a chance to buy. + They have a nice garden! It’s really beautiful, it’s a nice walk to walk through the garden to the museum. + AMAZING collection! They have many folk art and fancy clothes for you to discover. I was amazed by the handicraft (the glass bottle with decoration inside)! It’s soooo pretty. + Super clean toilet! + FREE LOCKERS! - Description is in Czech… I would like to know more. Books are also in Czech, would like to purchase a book about folk arts or Czech traditions in English

2 years ago Katherine E Birchwhat can I say about this place?

Great museum to visit if you want to learn about Czech folk culture! I really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly despite the language barriers and the museum is very appropriately priced. Unfortunately, all of the information about each artifact you will see is in Czech. However, upon entering each exhibit room you will see a large frame (sometimes around the doors) that provides information in English, giving you a general sense of what the room has to offer. I also am surprised to see that the lockers were free-- they tried to charge me one euro to use it... but ended up allowing me to have it for free when I did not have any euros on me, whoops. I guess that could be a testament to how nice the staff are! Regardless, I think this is a really neat sight to see in Prague and recommend it!

2 years ago Bruce Duncan: it is necessary to add to this place:

Enthusiastic staff, well laid out, duel language discriptions. Though no evidence of the original internal decoration remains a nice period villa to walk through. Includes a good shop, and a cafe.

7 years ago oana floreaexplained best how he liked it:

the building is very beautiful, and the museum exhibition helps you to understand more about the old traditions and customs of the Czech people.

2 years ago José Scholtewrote only this for this place:

Nice museum with interesting cultural artefacts, sadly most of the information concerning the items were only in Czech but still, it was quite interesting!

Small place with nice view to the city and children playground

6 years ago Grazie I: it is necessary to add to this place:

A nice park for a quick breather from shopping at Novy Smichov Shopping Center. There is even a walkway connecting the mall to the park. The park is small but it offers a wonderful view od Prague and is not crowded. Also good for picnics and to bring the kids since there is a mini zoo next to it. One of Prague’s off the beaten path sites.

7 years ago Boriana Ivanova: it is necessary to add to this place:

There are playgrounds and a mini zoo. The park is in the center of Prague 5, near Andel. It is nice for picnic and family walk and has a wonderful view of the city.

2 years ago Liudmyla Kexplained best how he liked it:

A very nice park near the Smichov shopping center. You can get there through the pedestrian bridge from the first floor of the shopping center.

2 years ago Henry Ashley-Coopersaid the following about this gem:

Sadly the recent council has been using this park for corrupt projects. Rather than fixing the broken paving, benches exercise equipment, or play area, they are throwing millions of crowns to add a concrete pavillion. A real pity.

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Daniel Virágdescribed this experience as follows:

Went to see BC,NR, first time there. Small art venue with friendly staff and cheap bar with great selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Easy access from the tram stop, accessible with wheelchairs as well. Would like to come back.

1 year ago Astor Voltaireshow did he rate it?

Great place for concerts. 5min walking from the tram stop. They have beers, water, drinks and also coffee

2 years ago Aleš Kozderadescribed this experience as follows:

Nice smaller stylish venue. Unfortunately bit far and whenever the place gets filled up, it gets very hot and bad air within minutes. They have only disgusting Budvar and good Matuska, but the bar with Matuska has always very long queue. Last time Matuska was sold at 10 PM already (French 79). Production is quite good but French 79 was over at 11:30...no afterparty, no DJ :(

2 years ago Leszek Kitadescribed this experience as follows:

Nice place for a concert played by a small band

2 years ago Saar Merzelexplained best how he liked it:

Nice and unique venue. Not too big and has great acoustics. Some train noises but you hear nothing when the show is ongoing. Recommended!

THE CHAMBER Staropramenná
Numerically, he has the 9.8/10!. This place was visited and rated 2264-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Paul Schulzewrote only this about this place:

One of the best escape games we did so far. We had a great game master and the setting was so much fun. Our game master wasn't only a great source of tips, but also a great actor, who set the scene perfectly. We can highly recommend it, a "must do" in Prague.

2 years ago Lynn Wong- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

The Chamber games are very nice! Interesting and fun! But sadly, it was a raining night and we reached early... We were told to wait outside in the cold until the scheduled time before we can go in... Spoilt the experience a little for us...

2 years ago Noah Franskeevaluates this place as follows:

We did Opus Magnum and had a blast! Great room with creative puzzles. Saša was awesome too! Excellent room master that added some fun to the mix. We'll be back to The Chamber for sure! Great for any age. 31 minutes, try to beat us 😂

2 years ago Louise Vernondescribed this experience as follows:

I was initially apprehensive about doing an escape room in a country that was not my native language but it was a fantastic experience and I can now see why the reviews are so high! We chose Opus Magnum. The room was just the right level of challenging for our team of 2 and the decoration of the room was a very high quality! Kačka was our host and was very friendly and helpful. She reassured me that all the written clues would be double sided with Czech and English. I would love to visit again and collect all of the stickers!

2 years ago Netanel Mexplained best how he liked it:

We played the Opus Magnum room and it was great! The difficulty was excellent for us (we played 3-4 rooms before that). Our game master Sylvie was incredible! She really brought the game to life and she was very kind. We had a really good time :)

Nestled in the charming Smíchov district of Prague, the river promenade offers visitors a tranquil escape from the city's bustling streets. With picturesque views, lush greenery, and a peaceful atmosphere, this hidden gem provides a unique experience that's perfect for tourists and locals alike. As you stroll along the promenade, you'll be immediately captivated by the breathtaking views of the Vltava River. The riverside walkway is lined with lush trees and well-maintained gardens, creating an idyllic setting that invites you to pause, take in the beauty, and unwind. The promenade's thoughtful design seamlessly blends natural elements with modern amenities, making it an ideal location for leisurely walks, jogging, or cycling.

2 years ago Alexander Zdravkovsaid the following about this gem:

Very nice place to chill. Against "náplavka " fewer people, mostly locals. You can enjoy drink and relax with beautiful views from Višehrad and boats sailing around. It is not necessary to have a seat at the bistros around, you can grab a seat directly at river bank.

6 years ago Mahdi TV- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Vyšehrad (Czech for "upper castle") is a historic fort located in the city of Prague, Czech Republic, just over 3 km southeast of Prague Castle, on the right bank of the Vltava River It was built probably in the 10th century. Situated within the fort is the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul, as well as the Vyšehrad Cemetery, containing the remains of many famous people from Czech history, among them Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, Karel Čapek, and Alphonse Mucha. It also contains Prague's oldest Rotunda of St. Martin from the 11th century

3 years ago Bourgeoise Curdlesnootwrote only this about this place:

Lovely place by right the river. You can stop at one of the round bars to have a drink or snack, or bring your own drink in a can or bottle and sit on the shore. Beautiful!

2 years ago Martin Radosovsky- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Calmer than the more famous náplavka on the other side of the river and the view is not blocked by boats. Bars are great too, only downside is that there is a shade much sooner than on the old town side.

Království Železnic

cool exposition. adults are no less interested than children. The organizers tried very hard. you can spend half a day studying the models and the exhibition. you can visit more than once

2 years ago Johnhow did he rate it?

A sea of sensations. It's a fun place, especially for kids, where you can play with cars, see lots of trains and climb around on different vehicles. But if you take the figures you quickly get used to them and many of the buttons don't work. But overall brilliant, a great job done. A lot of thoughtful details. Cool when it changes colour to nighttime too.

1 year ago Lea Piličevaluates this place as follows:

This is on list "must do" if you are in Prague with children. Very nice place, a lot to see. Just love it. We have been there 2.5h.

If you love miniature railways, you just have to visit this place! Two floors of elaborate landscapes with so many details and of course trains chugging around the place. This space is perfect with children as well, they have so many hands-on exhibits and play spaces for youngsters, so it's great for families!
