Great shisha and the teas are just amazing 🔥💯 Also, the atmosphere inside is very pleasant, and the music is calm and enjoyable all the time. Staff was also very kind, friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for some quiet place to go out with a friend or your loved one, definitely visit this place.

Super place for have a chicha, nice drink (beer or tea), and nice owners

Pleasant jazz music, freshly roasted plantation coffee (you can also buy the beans for your coffee machine at home;), seasonal drinks (hot autumn pear punch or delicious Christmas punch or iced the in the summer), Slovak wines, water pipes (not only for the youngsters;) and every now and then a home-made cake - plus it's a tea room as well, so you can also enjoy a nice cup of tea here. Friendly staff, good vibes - just visit, you won't regret it!

Really cosy tea place, nicely decorated, little bit hipster's style, with nice selection of tea and coffee. We needed to leave early and didn't finish our tea so service offered to go option.

Very pleasant atmosphere, nice jazz music and amazing tea.

The coffee is delicious and so is the food. I loved the fact they had vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. The eggplant lasagna was specifically tasty. I visited this coffee spot 3 time during my short stay in Poprad, two of the times were positive experiences and the service was very good. But the 3rd time the service was bad. I ordered a flat white and I got a cappuccino, the girl even mentioned it's a cappuccino at first and when I said I have a flat white she quickly said it's a flat white and left. I called her again and said it's not my order, but she insisted it's flat white even though it was clearly not. I gave a 4 star review because I don't think one bad experience should overshadow the rest, but maybe take care when ordering your coffee as you might receive something else.

Really tasty brunch, many choices of hot and cold beverages (coffee, matcha, iced matcha, drinks etc etc) really cozy place in Poprad, one of the best ❤️

Best breakfast in Poprad city center. Delicious egg Benedict. And good quality coffee (coming from a coffee nerd :) Would be great if they offered breakfast on weekends, it's a missed opportunity :)

I was there at 10am and got a menu with a variety of breakfast dishes. When I wanted to order they told me, that they have no breakfast. You want to be informed about that when getting the menu. This place shouldn’t be called Bistro, cause it is a café. May be a nice place with good cake and so on but please don‘t confuse people by creating wrong expectations.

If you are visiting Poprad this is a must see place. Premium Coffee, delicious food and cakes and the best service. I wish their kitchen was open during the weekends too. 100% recommended!

Great bowling, little bit old, but satisfying. Playing slovakia league on it.

Bowling balls are pretty wearied down. They have no fingehole size markings. Nice comfy shoes. Variety of drinks and foods are availabe at the smokers room with tables and a window to see the bowling alley. Non smoker dining area have no windows. No smoking allowed in the bowling alley. Overall nice alterntive to have some fun in central Poprad. Online booking available thru website. Although some feedback after submiting a booking wolud be nice. But ours were there and everything worked out just fine.

They did not complete our reservation. They sent us away. Smelly place with rude staff.

You'd be hard-pressed to convince anyone that a hotel where any of the toilet seats come off entirely is 4* (check out the men's toilet adjace to the bar). As you look around it's clear that management has put off spending on ongoing maintenance and capital improvements. But they have hired good staff and I appreciate their service.

The café in the hotel Europa is very nice, greatly situated right next to the train station. Waitresses were very kind. You can choose among the variety of coffee drinks, cakes or some small dishes. It has quite nice atmosphere, however the interior looks a bit old school, but it's just the matter of taste I guess...

Best hotel, best location next to train station, beautiful views to the mountains. The food is really good, quality and good taste and the service is perfect to! I recommend this hotel.

pros: Stayed here 3 nights with my friend. The location couldn't be better. You will see this beautiful art deco styled historical building just after you exit the train station. The bus station is just about 100 m away, city center only 10 min by walk. Many thanks to all the helpful and kind staff. The room was spacious and very clean, so was all the hotel. The restaurant was great, all the food very tasty, I really recommend their cuisine, coffee etc. There is also a smoking room there. I would definitely come again. cons: I would improve the breakfast buffet. The variety could be better for a 4* hotel. Even though this region of Slovakia is not particularly hot, the climate is changing even here, so someone would miss air con in the room during summer.

Even in Pandemic, I was driving from Poland to Hungary and I had to stop for a nap. Searching on Google, Hotel Europa Poprad was attractive, so I called and booked. Person for reception was very kind and reserved some rooms for my team. Breakfast very good, Kaufland, Billa, railway station, all near hotel, as well as the beautiful Tatra mountains in the back. The rooms are new, elegant, modern, comfy beds, free parking, interesting books to read at the Bar area, nice paitings on the walls. I would like to return to visit the surroundings in near future!

I'm very happy with this place. The best deal in Poprad. You can't find higher convenience at lower price and stay in city center. The restaurant below has a real pizza oven and the pizza was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy and there's free wifi. Yes, the rooms are modest but they are clean and functional and have everything necessary. It is silly to see all the complaints about no tv. If you want tv, go somewhere else and pay for it.

Bad atmosphere. Employees were afraid to have eyes contact with us, even when we wanted to pay our bill near the bar, one waitress were sitting near the table with her mobile phone, others just didnt want to see us. Nevertheless, tomato soup was very delicious, but pizza - nothing special...

Hotel rooms are nice. Good value for the money. Rooms are under the roof, so it can be hot there during sunny hot days. There are stairs to the beds, so it’s not the best for very small children. service at the reception is very nice and helpful. As of 07/2019, you can pay by cash only. The location is splendid. AquaCity is 10minutes walk. The restaurant is nice as well, but it gets very busy in the evenings so expect longer waiting time. I had English burger and it was very tasty. I loved Tiramisu.

We booked a room and mentioned that we'd get here late, around 11pm as this was when our plane would land. Once we arrived the front door was closed and there was a note to call between 10am to 10pm (or something like that). One of the other guests let us in but the reception was closed, no staff present. Had to find a different hotel. Don't come here.

Nice place to have a tea or coffee outdoors with a good view of the mountains. The vegan cakes are great. There aren't many places to find Matcha tea around but here the matcha latte is fairly good. English speaking staff and also English books available. Great place to chill!

Great atmosphere, lovely view from outside seating area, love how it's connected to bookshop. When I am visiting I always end up with some new book as well.

It is a good bookstore within a shopping center in a pedestrian area. Not very big but is has a good selection of maps and tourist material for the area. I got two éditions of Le Petit Prince for my collection. Staff very helpful and kind. Pointed me in the right direction and was very helpful.

The soup was cold, without any taste. Very small portion of “school kitchen kind of soup” for 3,30€.

This is my first ever 1star ... :( attitude i have not ever experienced ... girl nearly shouting on us. My mom wanted ceasar salad without chicken... basicalli iceberg lettuce leaves with a splash of anchow sauce , tomatoes and a bit of parmesan which we struggled to find.... so we asked for some more... they gave more - this is woth that extra parmesan in picture. I would never ever give a one star. But attitude was a big surprise for me... i have worked in many bars and restaurants in my lifetime and would never ever imagine myself behaving this way. Im sure other meals are not like this and other times the waiters react better

Great atmosphere. Good food and beer, good prices. We stayed in the attached hostel and loved the place.

Quality went down over years. Last time we were there we got our beer in dirty glasses and outside sitting was half-broken and fetched with some construction home.

I visit this cafe because it is so beautiful, the armchairs are so comfortable and the ambience is so relaxing. Service is prompt, and pleasant. Coffee is ok/nice. Cakes are ok/nice. Only cash payment is accepted.

There weren't many people in the middle of July on a Saturday early evening, but by the time the waiter arrived with the menu, I had already placed my order at the counter. It's a pleasant place, but less attention is paid to meta-communication during the service (if the guest takes out his wallet and looks at the waiter, he wants something, he would probably pay). The wooden design elements that break the external glass surfaces echo on the interior ceiling. It is not possible to pay by creditcard.

Staff was pleasant, interior is quit comfy. Cakes tasted good. Tea with fresh mint tastes good as well, the only downside is that they didn’t accept cards, I don’t know if it only this day or all the time. Which could be an issue especially if you don’t carry cash on you. The sign that said cash only is quit small one :(

The café has a beautiful interior, a very wide selection of pancakes, pleasant and fast service. For pancake enthusiasts, it's a recommended stop!

Nice place, fine food. Prices on the higher side. The menu says 'homemade bacon' but on the photo you can see some composite bought in the supermarket, most likely containing MSG and only 93% of bacon/animal parts. Which is shame and one star down

Best place to have breakfast at in Poprad town center. Sweet or salty, traditional or make your own. Always friendly staff and low prices. Pancakes are tasty and plenty to choose from if you fancy classic breakfast rather.

If you are crepes addict or you wanna have a coffee break, this place is a must visit ! Best panini I have had, and the “placinka” as they call it is delicious as well 😍🥰 You enjoy it with some music and summer breeze

Very good place for lunch with reasonable prices. The design and atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was superb and the service was very good. It happened when they forgot to bring us one order and they apologized for it and brought us traditional drink for free. Would definitely recommend everyone to visit this place, only good reviews.

Took long time till we got our dishes. The humburger was good. The golash could have some more meet in it.

Fantastic restaurant. Had it recommended by a local friend for traditional Slovakian food and it did not disappoint! The staff were lovely. The menu does come in English, and thank you tot he very nice waiter who spoke English to us too. We appreciated it so much.

Great service, great prices, great beer and food as well. They are welcoming, provide a water for your dog, and bring you whatever is in their hands. Halušky is the all-time classic dirt that cannot go wrong on places like this. Pretty big portion for a regular person. The chicken tortilla is well packed, tasty and with fries on the side. Urpiner beer is not one my favourites, but they know how to tap it, so it actually tastes pretty well. The beer choice is also quite big. There are nice seats outside in the pedestrian zone or nice spacy interior with TV for sport broadcasting. Parking is not that close, first option is across the main road in the side streets. On week days and Saturdays they are paid.

Randomly stopped into this cool restaurant as the kids were hoping for burgers for lunch. Excellent all around! Good food, great beer on tap, and terrific service. Had a good chat with the owner, great people working hard for 5+ years to make a successful casual spot with tasty comfort food. Looks like it would be a great place for watching futbol or other sporting matches. We’ll be back!
