TOP 10 Most Rated cafes in Praha 9

I give 4 stars not so much for the clothes but for the food hall in each branch. There are 4 branches in Prague ( that I know of ). Great choice of dried foods and frozen foods. Very reasonable prices for top quality products. Since Brexit you can't get fresh produce such as cheeses and salads etc but everything else is top rate including a great choice of wines and of course the coffee shop where they make a really good Americano. On a return visit in February 2023 i find that the food hall has closed permanently. Not to worry as M and S have food halls in 4 other branches and a great coffee shop in the Wenceslas SQ branch.

11.09.2024 No food. Bez potraviny. All info online is wrong. Only Vaclavske Namesti and Palladium have food now.

It was like any normal M&S until they removed the grocery section and today as I wanted to go in and buy socks due to the pouring rain, the guard tried to turn me around (which is understandable since I am one of the students that used to just pass through and buy food occasionally but since the removal of that part they asked us to not go through due to some customer number tracker or something along those lines) but when I told him I wanted to buy something he asked if I had money and then continued to tell me where the cash register is. All done with a very agressive tone. The rest of the staff seemed completely fine and nice however I think that if I wasn’t aware of the school situation I would not even had gone into the store or ever returned.

Great food of high quality, although rather pricey for local standards. They have great coffee. The staff are very amicable. It's one of the few places where you can get good quality food around the town. Clothes section + food section. There is seating available. The food area opens at 8am so it's great for a cup of coffee and breakfast. English friendly.

No more cheeses, sousages, fresh meet or fruit :-(. Just frozen or durable stuff. But they newly have coffee corner where you can drink your coffee.

I’m not a caffeine gal but my friend wanted to go to costa, and I gotta say Adela & Ondrej were very kind towards me and helped me pick out a beverage as I don’t drink coffee. As to the coffee my friend had (flat white with salted caramel & cinnamon), she didn’t have any complaints! Will visit again:)

Manager is a extremely unpleasant, not only to customers but also to whoever he was just hiring while we sat two tables away. I'm very sorry for whoever works under him

My vanilla latte was very watery, without any sort of vanilla flavour and cold the moment I got it. The staff cannot handle more than 3 people, the queue gets very long, staff prefers chatting with each other to doing their job. The person that made my coffee with the manager apron was talking very loud the whole time I was there, made it really hard to enjoy that joke of a coffee. She was also unsure about what the actual drink was when it was handed to me. The organisation is appalling as I got my coffee before approx 3 people that came before me. All around unpleasant experience and definitely not worth the money and the wait. Can't wait for the Starbucks to open in Harfa in may.

Spacious, clear space in a nice location. It's usually not busy, and it's a perfect place to get some work done or study for a few hours. Their cakes are great (we loved the carrot cake!), and prices are better than in most cafes around Prague. Oh, and the wifi is really good, too.

I usually come here when I get fed up of working at home. The place has a nice/cozy vibe and located in a quiet neighborhood. The coffee quality is good (believe me, since I always get double espresso with no sugar). It is truly my escape place when I am demotivated or need inspirations/energy to finish the day.

Fabulous coffee, wonderful ambience. Onsite roasted coffee that is so much more satisfying than some generic coffee house. This is created by someone who cares about their coffee and what you drink (bitter or acidic espresso?). Kids area, music area, plenty of coffee to take home. Worth the slight detour to come to, excellent place, would give it six stars.

The first place I've ever been asked, whether I like my flat white more sour or bitter. They have more kinds of coffee available ! Awesome coffee and cakes, really nice and helpful staff.

Coffee is great, sandwiches very tasty - service doesn't know English, but it's fun to order ;)

Staff was very unfriendly and rude. The place is definitely not children friendly ( they should put a sign on the door). Our daughter was sitting silently and eating her biscuits. Apparently she dropped one biscuit on the floor we didn’t notice and the lady was shouting “family of pigs” behind us!!! I have never been treated like this before. My husband is czech and he would definitely contact the owner. Honestly the cake and coffee weren’t anything special so it is not worth it.

Good selection of desserts. Prices a bit above standard in this location. 2 eur cappuccino of average quality.

I visited this place and was impressed by its great location and the quality of their coffee. The restaurant is situated in a fantastic spot, and I enjoyed the ambienceq and atmosphere. The coffee was delicious, and I appreciated the variety of options available. However, I must mention that I had an unfortunate encounter with one of the workers, specifically when interacting with foreign customers. The worker appeared to be rude and impolite towards people who were not local. This behaviour left a sour taste in my mouth, as it is essential to treat all customers with respect and courtesy, regardless of their background. Despite this unpleasant experience, I would still recommend visiting for the coffee and the location. Hopefully, the management can address the issue of customer service and ensure that all visitors, regardless of their nationality, receive the same level of hospitality and respect. Overall, it was a great place with good coffee, but the negative interaction with the worker for foreign people was disappointing. المكان اكثر من رائع بس العاملين هنا مره وقحين.

One of the unexpected places in Prague where you find everyone speaks English. Amazing hospitality and even the guests are kinda diffeent. Amazing summer view.

Good food (pizza, czech potato soap, grilled meat, ...), many tables outside, generally nice place, worth to visit and spend sunny afternoon/evening ;-) But they do not accept cards :-(

Why should we going to Starbucks? I bought a drink here and asked for ice separately, but they said no ice???? Then it's not the ice that goes into the iced drinks you selling it? Is it jelly?? Haha The lack of service from the staff ruins this coffee shop.

Very nice place, unfortunately it's located in the middle of corridor BUT we find nice place to sit, drink great tea and even fed our baby :) awesome teas - and really nice stuff- it wasn't a problem for them to add more water to my tea !

One of the worst Shisha places in whole of Czech Republic. The guy charges you standard prices but gives the lowest quality of flavor and coals. Coals that make you wanna puke

From the entrance - place smells and looks dirty. Why should go to this place if other options available in Prague. Stay away.

"Are you gonna leave it like this?" The place is nice and food was tasty, bit pricey though. We went to the counter to pay and the bill was 608czk, the waitress(with glasses) immediately said "Are you gonna leave it like this?". She should be lectured on what customer service is and good manners in general. We always tip, but she doesn't even give you room to reply and she is already on the attack, when tips are on a voluntary basis.

I always like to come back! Delicious food, great coffee and nice servers as well. I also appreciate the approach to nature and compostable food containers. I was pleasantly surprised to see delicious gluten free options on the menu!

Coffee is good but the breakfast is not worth the money (we ordered bread with cheese and baked apple and scrambled eggs with spring onion and bacon). I wouldn't come back for breakfast again.

Located right in the middle of vast Prosek park, the restaurant cum cafe is family and kids friendly. It has really nice waterside view and outside sitting facility, also comes up with bar/takeaway option. Food is great. They are open till late night that is a great advantage even during new year eve. Little disappointed with service as they aggressively ask for tips even if you only take one coffee. No Wi-Fi

A nice family friendly restaurant and bar in a modern park close to Prosek metro station. Unlike many bars in the area, they accept card payments. The staff can speak English, but it would be polite to try your Czech first. Good food, with pleasant views from the outdoor and balcony seating areas. No Wifi, unfortunately.

The only thing I'd like to appreciate about this restaurant is the atmosphere. It took them almost 1 hour to get a 100 grams of potato chips, but before that, they also took an ETERNITY to give the menu and take the order. I sometimes wonder how they work during peak time🤔

Nice place in nature with great terrace and beer. Food is probably good also and not expensive. Worthy to visit if you are in Prosek or Střížkov.

The waitress did not hesitate to roll her eyes when she had to wait 10 seconds for the order. I’m not sure how this kind of staff imagines serving customers if they don’t have patience for few seconds. Paying at the bar, the waiter asked for tips. When he saw no tip is obviously coming, he said the next time we should go to the fast-food, if we don’t give tips. Disgusting.
