This bistro is a must-visit for breakfast lovers. The bread is definitely a standout, and the coffee is the best in Prague! It might be difficult to find a seat on the weekend if you want to dine in, but the delicious breakfast and great coffee are worth the visit☕️🥖

2 years ago Přemysl Randák- why does he think this place is on the list?

Great place for breakfast and a seriously good coffee ☕ They have their own bakery, so you should definitely try some of the bread 🍞. I can't really tell which is the best :)

2 years ago Petr L: it is necessary to add to this place:

The barista was so slow and instead of doing his work left coffee shots sitting there for 8 mins and after he finished his chat to colleges he wanted to pour those cold shots over mine drink. It was very slow service. I think the manager should check on his staff how productive they are!

5 years ago Kateřina Eklováhow did he rate it?

Delicious coffee in an amazing space. The interior is white with hints of pastel colours. And their pastry which is baked just in the bakery behind the counter is awesome.

2 years ago Michal Knytlhow did he rate it?

Really good coffee, nice home baked snacks and delicious bread

Pekárna Praktika
Definitely deserves 9.4/10!. This place was visited and rated 451-times

What our travelers says:

2 years ago Max Powerdescribed this experience as follows:

What a great little bakery and you have the choice to see how they are doing all the work. I had the great chance to get a free sample of the dark bread and it was delicious , intensive and very airy. I had a little puffy pastry with apricot pudding and some fresh apricots on top and it was like heaven. The dough was fluffy and perfect baked. The contrast between a little sour fruitiness and the sweet part was incredible. After that I ordered a espresso, which was great too and the taste was very fruity and not bitter. You should definitely visit the bakery.

2 years ago Alek Drobnjakwrote only this for this place:

I am an espresso lover, single origin, washed, lemon, citrus and fruit notes, but this espresso was absolutely terrible. Couldn't even drink a sip of it. They also have NO vegan options.

3 years ago Dorothy Petitexplained best how he liked it:

Obviously THE place to buy sourdough bread, but the coffee is very good as well. Many pastries to choose from. Water freely available on the table. Very nice welcome, will be back…

2 years ago Greg Karpinski: it is necessary to add to this place:

My favorite bakery in Prague. Amazing breads, great pastries and coffee and most importantly super friendly service. Women owned business too. I'll be visiting every time I'm in Prague

7 years ago Daniel Bhow did he rate it?

Excellent option for a delicious breakfast and wonderful coffee. It’s tinny and the smell of fresh bread is really nice! It’s not a super fancy place if you mind about that (definitely not my case). The lady (sorry I don’t know her name) who served us is lovely, she’s very kind and courteous. And about the bread, organic sourdough, the best I had of this type and one of the best ever. Place is so good that we decided to go back before leaving Prague (lovely city by the way!).

2 years ago Martin R- why does he think this place is on the list?

Great coffee, cool looking place, with power plugs on the upper floor. Top friendly service!

3 years ago Aurora Olivasaid the following about this gem:

Their Flat White (Cappuccino Doppio) is absolutely perfect! The texture, temperature and flavor that it should have. It's a little hidden, the place is cute with industrial decoration but cozy. Its baristas are excellent. Excellent to go to work with your laptop for a couple of hours. Great music too 🎵

2 years ago Alisa 3said the following about this gem:

fast, cute, peaceful. the new york cheesecake was amazing, some deep flavour.

7. place deserves ô-mai Coffee.Brunch

ô-mai Coffee.Brunch
Definitely deserves 9.4/10!. This place was visited and rated 639-times

What our travelers says:

2 years ago Khaki Chanwhat can I say about this place?

I love me an English breakfast. Creamy eggs, mildly sweet beans in tomato sauce, toasted bread with fluffy butter, mushrooms and crispy bacon and sausages. But this spot offers not only that. It has a big and colorful selection of foods (for brunch alone a whole page). The atmosphere is cozy. Although it is kind of far away form the city center it easily accessible by metro (just a 5 minute walk from the station Křižíková). What is also pleasantly surprising are the affordable prices of meals.

2 years ago Mrs. Julinkasaid the following about this gem:

We had great breakfast in here. We took sourdough bread with salmon, avocado and eggs, and omai breakfast, and flat white! Everything is fresh and delicious. I recommend this place 💯!

2 years ago afnan fandi: it is necessary to add to this place:

Definitely one of Prague's finest breakfast spots! The food was impeccable, from the perfectly scrambled eggs to the delightful yogurt. The coffee was excellent as well, and the service was exceptional, made even better by the English-speaking staff.

1 year ago Anastasiya Agapovahow did he rate it?

Nice atmosphere. I like to order here blue or yellow latte. You should to try to make your opinion. You can also add extra shot of coffee to this decaffeinated drink.

2 years ago Verna Rolland: it is necessary to add to this place:

Wow, best coffee we had in Prague! The food was amazing (we went back a second day as well during our trip). The service was great and you could tell a lot of care went into preparing our coffee and food.

What our travelers says:

2 years ago Anna Mikešová: it is necessary to add to this place:

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the food we got. For the price the portion was small and aesthetically not very pleasing, which would all be alright, however the tea my friends ordered was bitter, the avocado spread on my bread (which ended up being a toast unlike the menu) very sour. We won’t be returning, the interior is nice and the waitress is kind, but the food isn’t worth it.

6 years ago Ankita Sarawgi: it is necessary to add to this place:

The food selection is good. All items are vegetarian. The soup were delicious and pasta too. The roasted rice was one of the tastiest I ever had. Our timing was around 4:30, so we were able to get a place without reservation. Gets quite busy later.

6 years ago Shambhavi Balasubramanianhow did he rate it?

A short walk from my hotel, all vegetarian and open until 11pm. I recommend the ginger tea if you are looking for something refreshing and energizing. I also had the beetroot soup and fried rice with curry sauce. Beetroot soup was delicious and a reasonable portion. The fried rice was a bit too salty for my palette. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food prices was very modest compared to the portions. Definitely worth trying in Prague!

2 years ago Angela Fleur Wilsonsaid the following about this gem:

Great offerings for lunch. Tasty dishes and lots of selection available. The servers are friendly and very kind. Super sweet that they gave us some delicious carrot cake and tea as the food took a little bit long to arrive. Not that this was a problem. Thanks so much for the kind gesture, great food and warm service. Lovely lunch spot!

7 years ago Nullum Nomenexplained best how he liked it:

Tasty salad and coffee, also the staff is friendly. Unfortunately it's a very busy place, not so comfy and quite loud so we couldn't enjoy the couch so much.

We rate 9.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 836-times

What our travelers says:

2 years ago Péter Kovácswrote only this about this place:

One of, if not the best pizza I had in the region. The dough is perfect, generous size and reasonable pricing! The staff is also super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the place also has the vibe of a friendly family pizzeria of the neighbourhood. I highly recommend to anyone travelling through or staying in Prague to give it a try! I definitely will come back for more!

7 years ago Zoe Weekenwrote only this for this place:

Small and trendy cafe restaurant that makes delicious pizza. They don't have an English menu but its easy to work out what the type of pizza is. Would have to be one of the best pizzas I've had in any country. Excellent quality and service.

5 years ago Tomáš Cermanwrote only this about this place:

I've never been there, but the pizza I order is always great. My favorite Is anti-vegetariana, which comes a bit soggy from all the bacon, ham and whatsoever, but it's a price I am willing to pay to satisfy my hunger. Other pizzas I tried so far are great too, and the price is alright.

2 years ago Lynne O'Connorwrote only this for this place:

6 years ago Gabriela Valderhaugexplained best how he liked it:

God choise of biofood, farms vegetables, bakery.... Playground for kids, little stage for theater performances. I was amazed.....

7 years ago Miroslav Mihov- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Very nice cafe, ice-cream vendor and vegetable/fruit store. The dairy/cheese shop has quite a limited offer, especially in cow milk products. All in all there's a certain hipster vibe coming off the whole marketplace and things are a bit on the pricier side.

What our travelers says:

3 years ago JasterFoxhow did he rate it?

Very kind and nice personell, good, fresh beer and very tasty bohemian food. We were a group of 9 and they went out of their way to give us enough space for everyone to sit and eat together. The food came hot, close together and was very tasty. Original bohemian kitchen as well as spanish food here. A little out of town but very recommendably if you're in the area!

2 years ago Stephan Klingerwhat can I say about this place?

Great little restaurant with tasty Czech specialties. The pricing is fair and the quality of the food is quite good. Very friendly service.

9 years ago Ingrida Smeringaiova- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

The restaurant interior reminds more sport/beer pub. Smoking area is dominant over the non-smoking area = you always take on the smell of cigarettes. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes (czech and international), most of them include meat. Some dishes are nicer than other. You can order tap water, which is pleasant. The staff is very willing and usually works fast. If you are around and hungry, this place is a good option for eating. You can also choose from the lunch menu updated every day. The restaurant has an outdoor sitting in the summer. Enjoy!

3 years ago Vladimir Rybinsky- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Black Kozel, pork ribs plus fried halspenos with cheese inside - ist more than expected for this district. And sure, very friendly staff!

5 years ago William Osmarexplained best how he liked it:

I'm a foreigner and I came to this restaurant. There was a guy working here gave us menu in Czech. I was waving at him to ask if he has menu in English and guess what ? He was MAD at me and told me things like "Don't wave at me when I'm busy" in a RUDE way. I didn't understand it before because he was speaking in czech. But then my ( czech ) partner told me everything. I'm definitelly NEVER going to this place again.

2. place is occupied by Můj šálek kávy

What our travelers says:

2 years ago Damian Góreckihow did he rate it?

This is generally a good place. In theory, everything was done right. Turkish-style eggs are an interesting dish and worth trying. The omlet with ham and cheese was good. Coffee and tea fine. But still, I expected something better. Maybe I was hoping for a cozier place. This is not a small, quiet cafe. The staff was not very interested in us as customers. Ah, and the bread was probably not very fresh. Prices are rather high. But it’s still a good cafe of course, you can eat and drink tasty things.

2 years ago Matias Hätönenwhat can I say about this place?

A little rugged view from the terrace but the service and food more than makes up for it. Great portion of Turkish eggs partnered with a delicious coffee brew and lemonade. Highly recommend to try even just for the coffee.

2 years ago M H: it is necessary to add to this place:

If you are a fan of high end filter coffee this is a great spot. The tricholate and pulsar brewers work well and there are some competition level beans here. Even the batch brew was quality. I ordered the vegan bowl and honestly I should have sent it back. It was far sweeter than the ice cream I had for dessert recently. The dressing was basically syrup. I felt a bit nauseous after eating it and had to take a walk to settle my stomach. Their other food looked good though.

1 year ago Minh Hiếu Taevaluates this place as follows:

Lovely place, cosy and warm. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and their coffee was absolutely tasty. I'm going to visit it again soon. 😊

1 year ago dennis süßmeierexplained best how he liked it:

first we had to wait like 5 minutes for a table to become available for us- it was definitely worth our time. the employees were extremely friendly even though the café was packed with people. we didn’t have to wait long for our food either- which was very cheap regarding the good quality of the food. definitely recommend this place

1. place belongs to Eska Restaurant and Bakery

Eska Restaurant and Bakery

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Souissi Fayrouzhow did he rate it?

Lunch menu is amazing! We loved the 3 dishes we had. The natural wine was great. The bread was fab but the sweets were not what we like, it’s very local and authentic so people probably love it. Staff is friendly and service is fairly smooth.

1 year ago Tamta Dumbadzesaid the following about this gem:

The environment is lovely, staff is good overall though could not answer us on meal questions (probably she was new). Bread was very good, omellete not bad but not what I expected. Also, if you sit outside it would be better to have better heating (yet, better than nothing).

2 years ago Joeway Banhdescribed this experience as follows:

Went there late afternoon to try it out and the atmosphere was nice. While we were having out lunch there it seemed like the young staff also were having lunch nearby. They were being a bit loud and playful between each other which in my opinion lit up the place. Our waiter was also nice and helpful with all of our questions that weren't related to the food or restaurant itself. We ordered the cucumber salad which was delicious but pricey. We also ordered the cauliflower soup which was decent but too salty.

1 year ago Aveeka N. Boscherdescribed this experience as follows:

This is on my top 5 best brunch places in Prague. Bread is so soft and good. For the lunch menu, I would recommend the potatoes in ash - super creamy and hearty. We also tried the breakfast eska, loved the jam, bread and bun. Service is quick and efficient. Friendly staff. Would surely return if I get the chance! #prague #bibgourmand #cafe #brunch #bread

2 years ago frank klatil- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Ordered their creamy leek soup which came with their 33 bread and a chunk of salted butter and a cup of latte. Could not detect any taste of leeks in the soup which taste was totally overpowered by sodium. Even tiny pieces of salty fish added to the soup were drowning in this brine. Their bread looked great but was extremely salty. And salted butter on top of it. If you love a lots of salt this is the place to go. Latte was not salty or at least I could not detect any salt in it. It had a strong bitter/sour taste neither one of those being my favorite ones. The place was very busy and was fun to watch how this Hi-Tec place was buzzing with activity. I have not tried any of their sweet baked goods yet so maybe next time.
