10. place is occupied by Cathedral of Barcelona

Cathedral of Barcelona
We rate 9.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 66230-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Alycia Phylis- why does he think this place is on the list?

We decided to go here last minute as we were walking by. It was very easy to get tickets. I enjoyed watching the ducks in the courtyard mill about. We also went into the cathedral store and got two gold rosary necklaces and a Christmas ornament. Pro tip make sure you have something to cover your arms on a hot day or you will not be let in.

1 year ago Patrick Minwhat can I say about this place?

Barcelona Cathedral is a breathtaking architectural masterpiece with Gothic and neo-Gothic styles that create a stunning view. It is a must-visit spot in Barcelona, and the rooftop offers a panoramic view of the city, creating an unforgettable experience. The stained glass inside the cathedral is awe-inspiring and highly recommended for visitors. It's one of the most important churches in Barcelona, and you shouldn't miss it.

1 year ago Kinan Rostomevaluates this place as follows:

It's an amazing place, the rooftop visit is a highlight, offering awe-inspiring panoramic views that provide a unique vantage point to appreciate the city's charm. Inside, the cathedral's ancient architecture showcases impeccable craftsmanship, creating a space that exudes a profound sense of holiness. A visit here is a journey through time and an opportunity to experience the spiritual ambiance that defines this remarkable place.

1 year ago Natalia Drotar- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

I recommend to go to the very top for the views! Also on the opposite side- there is a rooftop bar in Colon hotel - opens at 12.00. Be first in line to get the best spot. You cannot order coffee there, only alcohol.

1 year ago Indy Rowrote only this about this place:

Beautiful cathedral where you will pay €15 for entrance to see museum, cathedral and rooftop. They had some technical issues to see the rooftop, but everything else was wonderful. You also scan barcode and you get an audio guide. Very nice and peaceful. Pretty garden outside with the famous white geese chilling in the middle of the garden. The cathedral is easy to find with Google maps, and it’s pretty central too.

9. place is occupied by Arc de Triomf

Arc de Triomf
We rate 9.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 82680-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Kya Louisehow did he rate it?

It wasn't busy so I was able to get great pictures. I visited twice and each day someone was singing under the arc. Lots of people around on the benches enjoying the view and people getting pictures infront of it. Lots of space for everyone to take photos

1 year ago Kamran Samadli: it is necessary to add to this place:

Great place. Monument itself is beautiful, but the area itself is more visit-worthy than the monument. A park that leads to another beautiful park and zoo.

1 year ago Dean Armstrongdescribed this experience as follows:

We stumbled across this magnificent monument and whole area. There was lots to see and admire, with architecture and fine buildings all around. The entertainment from buskers and performers was mostly welcomed and enjoyed, both at the Arco and around the whole area. I would recommend a visit to this area to take in the atmosphere of Barcelona.

1 year ago The Traveler: it is necessary to add to this place:

Visiting the Arc de Triomf in Barcelona was an unforgettable experience that truly deserves a five-star rating. This iconic landmark, with its magnificent red brickwork and intricate sculptures, stands as a proud symbol of the city’s rich cultural and historical heritage. Walking up to the Arc, I was immediately struck by its grandeur and the detailed reliefs that adorn its surface, each telling a story of triumph and artistic endeavor. The promenade leading to the monument, lined with towering palm trees, created a picturesque pathway that invited both locals and tourists alike to bask in the beauty of this architectural masterpiece. The Arc de Triomf is not just a visual spectacle; it’s a gateway to the vibrant Parc de la Ciutadella, making it the perfect starting point for a day of exploration in one of Barcelona’s most beloved green spaces. The area surrounding the Arc is buzzing with energy, often filled with street performers, musicians, and vendors that add to the lively atmosphere. What sets the Arc de Triomf apart is its significance as a monument of peace and as a testament to Barcelona’s spirit of innovation and progress, initially built as the main access gate for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair. It serves as a reminder of the city’s forward-thinking attitude and its welcoming nature. The Arc de Triomf is more than just an architectural feat; it’s a cultural landmark that offers a unique glimpse into the soul of Barcelona. Whether you’re capturing its beauty through the lens of a camera or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll along its promenade, the Arc de Triomf is a must-visit destination that encapsulates the charm and dynamism of this incredible city. In summary, the Arc de Triomf is not only a feast for the eyes but also a symbol of Barcelona’s enduring allure. Its captivating architecture and historical significance make it an essential part of any visit to the city. A true five-star experience!

1 year ago Saulius Janusauskaswhat can I say about this place?

Visiting the Arc de Triomf in Barcelona was an absolute delight. Its stunning architecture and grandeur left me in awe. The intricate details and historical significance behind this iconic landmark make it a must-see for anyone exploring the vibrant city.

8. place gets Magic Fountain of Montjuïc

Magic Fountain of Montjuïc
We give 9.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 86395-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Mihaela Milenovawhat can I say about this place?

Visiting the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc in Barcelona was an absolute highlight of my trip! From the moment the first droplet of water danced into the air, accompanied by the vibrant lights and captivating music, I was thoroughly mesmerized. The synchronization of elements creates a spectacular display that appeals to visitors of all ages, making it a must-see destination in Barcelona. The setting, with the majestic National Art Museum of Catalonia in the background, adds to the magical atmosphere, making every performance feel like a special event. I recommend arriving early to secure a good viewing spot, as the area can get quite crowded with eager spectators. The best part? This stunning attraction is free, offering incredible value for an unforgettable experience.

1 year ago Dennis Smalleywrote only this for this place:

This is an unbelievable evening of Magic dancing waters in and around placa de Espana.close to the bullring centre. It is free to view but be aware that it becomes incredibly busy as it is one of Barcelonas must see tourist highlights.Main event takes place in front of the beautiful palace of art. Be prepared to stand for some time. Very little seating is available. The Avenue Approaches are littered with vendors selling goods of every description . The top floor of the bullring centre has many nice restaurants and is also a good place to view Font magica.

1 year ago Kerly Skaretexplained best how he liked it:

The magic fountain is something much recommended to everyone. I didn’t have much expectation, but it surprised me how thorough it all was and how beautiful it looks. Remember to not stand next to it if you want the best views, go further up.

1 year ago Juan Osorio: it is necessary to add to this place:

Incredibly and beautiful place in Barcelona. Beautiful architecture, friendly people and delicious food. Time is blessed.

2 years ago Aris P- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

The view from both bottom and top was breath taking. Could get a very nice view of the city. Unfortunately could not see the fountain show because the Fountain was temporary closed. But definitely worth visiting especially when it gets dark in the evening!

7. place belongs to La Pedrera-Casa Milà

La Pedrera-Casa Milà
We rate the place at 9.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 92112-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Julie Castrosaid the following about this gem:

The architecture is amazing. Gaudi’s models in the attic portion of the tour seemed quite visionary and ahead of his time. The tour if the leading open rooftop with panoramic views of the city were stunning. The sculptures of the chimney tops and vents looked like knights guarding a castle.

1 year ago Frans Willemsevaluates this place as follows:

Perfect place to learn more about how Gaudi worked and how people lived inside the building. The rooftop La Pedrera is brilliant. The new virtual reality tour is very nice!

1 year ago Natalia Drotarsaid the following about this gem:

Nice place but somehow, inside looks better on the picture than in real life… rooftop is cool- definitely better than in Casa Batlló. More space to walk around . Less people at 9.00.

1 year ago Michelle Stern Webberwhat can I say about this place?

A must-do on any visit to Barcelona. Buy tickets online in advance for the cheapest options. You get a headset and audioguide as you walk around the building. So much to see. Fascinating information about the rooms. Gaudi really was amazing. Head to the roof for the most surreal experience and spectacular views.

1 year ago Emily Fitzsimonswrote only this for this place:

Lovely architecture, high priced admission for a very small portion of the building (main plaza, 1 apartment, attic and roof). You can tell this is a tourist money trap because there is a gift shop in the center of an exhibit and at the end. The audio tour was greatly appreciated and automatically started base upon your location in the building. I am very happy that I went, however price point did take it down a notch.

6. place is occupied by Casa Batlló

Casa Batlló
Definitely deserves 9.4/10!. This place was visited and rated 141244-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Stefan Bostock: it is necessary to add to this place:

Very beautiful, impressive and unique. The audio tour could have done with more information about the people, the context… where are the cubist homes? Why was a commercial version not developed? How was life here? Also, unlike the majority of (touristy) things we’ve experienced in Catalonia… wildly overpriced (and combined with the expensive ‘photo op’ and TWO gift shops on the way through… really made it feel like a cash grab). Got the ‘Gold’ package - although they’re all very dear. There is an apartment you can only visit with the Gold pass - pretty outraged that not everyone got to see this. Also, also… the patio and therefore eat facade is under renovation, so check out for this as it’s definitely an important bit to have missed. Booked in advance to get there for 9am.

1 year ago Alycia Phylishow did he rate it?

Arrived right on time and was able to zoom right in. I recommended buying tickets in advance is this is very popular. I love how this so much life in the house. It’s so beautiful and was worth the visit next time. I would get the gold pass to see the additional rooms that were not available with the blue. I didn’t realize there was multiple tiers until I got there. The immersive experience with a special treat at the end if you get dizzy easy this is not for you. The gift shop is very nice. I just wish they sold the sweatshirts that the staff members were wearing as they were awesome and I would’ve bought one.

1 year ago P Pwrote only this for this place:

It's a very beautiful building, one of the most famous in Barcelona, with beautiful majolica on the walls designed by Gaudi. There is a terrace on the roof with a beautiful view of the neighborhood, you can take a "tourist" photo on the balcony and they will print it out and give you a digital version. It's such a stupid thing for tourists, but it costs 14€, I liked it. You should already have tickets, although if you come in the morning at 8-8.30 on weekdays, you won't have to stand in line for long. I also noticed a ticket office near the entrance to the building where you can buy 3 groups of tickets at once. And the "golden" group is very profitable! 6-7 houses for 60€. I liked it, I highly recommend it. One of my dreams))

1 year ago Bobbie chavarriawrote only this about this place:

The outside is beautiful and a great photo stop. The outside light show is not in season at this moment. Toured the inside today with the blue pass and it was informative but not sure worth the $35 to see the inside. The roof top was nice and you had a gift shop opportunity several times during the walk through. The best part was the immersive experience and the fact the staff let me stay to view it like 6 times. It was that great. As long as you don’t have vertigo and are in good health. Would not suggest that part for kids under the age of 2

1 year ago Roger Ofarrilwhat can I say about this place?

Impressive building. I just wish they didnt pump so much scent into the rooms. It was intoxicating in some places. Other than that, a must see experience that is pretty well organized. Appreciated the extras of the gold package.

5. place deserves Spotify Camp Nou

Spotify Camp Nou
We give 9.2/10!. This place was visited and rated 157187-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Sam- why does he think this place is on the list?

Really great experience to relive and feel the Barca love. The construction view isn’t worth it. It’s not inside the stadium - just view of workmen outside. Great if you like that kind of thing. Inside the tour was fantastic - trophy rooms, videos, a 360 degree experience. Good for adults and kids.

1 year ago Ali Lariexplained best how he liked it:

Awesome, just awesome. One of the best things we did in Barcelona. Except for not being able to see the stadium itself every thing else (museum and shop) were perfect. Just make sure you have enough time in the Barcelona 3D show. Amazing! Definitely worth it.

1 year ago Outlineexplained best how he liked it:

It is a very cool experience. It has useful information and some really awesome trophies, shirts, basically everything about the Barcelona team. However, as of right now the field itself is under remodeling and you won't be able to go in it nor see it, only the museum is available FOR NOW, and I do not know when it will change.

1 year ago Martin Rix- why does he think this place is on the list?

Good museum with showing the history of the club with extensive trophy displays. It is very dark inside, with bright led lighting, so can be a little challenging to navigate. The stadium is currently being rebuilt so not much to look at currently

1 year ago Kaywhat can I say about this place?

A beautiful stadium with 100,000 spectator capacity. The museum was closed during my visit but I got to spend time at the store and explore other parts of the campground which was an impressive experience. I will be going back once the new stadium is completed to see a match, and I believe it will definitely be worth the trip.

4. place deserves Mercado de La Boqueria

Mercado de La Boqueria
We rate the place at 9/10!. This place was visited and rated 174494-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Chris Simpler- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Full of life, lots of variety and high quality foods. While warnings about pickpockets should certainly be taken seriously, we felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Avoid the temptation to buy everything you see the first time walking through, and don’t feel pressured to buy or guilty about sampling, these are professional market vendors and it’s part of the deal!

1 year ago Michael Tedesco- why does he think this place is on the list?

What a cool spot this was. There is so much culture in one spot. They say pickpockets are rampant here, but we were cautious and had no issues. Each booth is its own small business, and so many are very unique. From spices, seafood, candies, meats, and other foods, this place offers so much local experience. We did not find cappuccino inside, but they are everywhere right outside. This was one of my favorite people watching places. A definite must for Barcelona.

1 year ago Glenna Williams- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

This place is a must see. Super lively market with many options! There are many vendors selling the same thing so make sure you check out each booth to see who has the better price and freshest options. Also it was very packed, shoulder to shoulder, so be aware of your surroundings and belongings.

1 year ago Rawan: it is necessary to add to this place:

A vibrant market provides a variety of foods and beverages, such as pies, fruits, milkshakes, smoothies, and potatoes. We went there twice, and I would absolutely go back for the third time if I had the time. Watch out for pickpockets! Definitely worthwhile to visit.

1 year ago Ortensia Caputoevaluates this place as follows:

Fun place to visit. So much food and it's all so fresh. We went at lunch time. Everything is so fresh. We enjoyed walking around trying out different things .

3. place definitely deserves Plaça de Catalunya

Plaça de Catalunya
We rate 9/10!. This place was visited and rated 186774-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Billy Forewrote only this for this place:

Really, it was a great place to visit. Fountains aren't working due to severe drought. Great views from outside. We didn't have time to go into museum.

1 year ago Constantin Goreadescribed this experience as follows:

It's a nice square. It is clean and well maintained. It is a tourist attraction and can get crowded at times. It is surrounded by many restaurants and cafes. Several of the city's main arteries start/intersect from here. From here also starts a well-known street very popular among tourists that leads to the port of Barcelona - La Rambla.

1 year ago Marisa Balletti-Lavoiesaid the following about this gem:

Plaça de Catalunya is the pulsating heart of Barcelona, Spain. This bustling square is a vibrant hub of activity, surrounded by iconic landmarks, shops, and cafes. Whether you're admiring the stunning architecture, people-watching, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, Plaça de Catalunya offers an unforgettable experience. It's the perfect starting point for exploring the beauty and charm of Barcelona. Marisa Balletti-Lavoie

1 year ago Koyel Roysaid the following about this gem:

An open space which connects to all roads of the city … always full of people & activities .. pigeons are found in plenty here … kids love feeding them & making them all fly at once … beware of pick pocket…

1 year ago Anya Nurawhat can I say about this place?

Quite a busy place with many pigeons that people come to feed. We didn’t get a chance to see the fountains working as it is too dry in Spain now and they are saving up water. But I think with fountains it would look much nicer for sure!

2. place - Park Güell

Park Güell
We rate 8.8/10!. This place was visited and rated 193080-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Lavanya khamitkar: it is necessary to add to this place:

It is very beautiful park. The most exciting thing is to come early and walk leisurely and enjoy all the views with less crowd. This park is truly breathtaking. Anyone can spend here couple of hours admiring the beauty. The paths are very well kept with all the signs of direction. It is the perfect combination of nature with the skyline of the city in the background. Worth every penny and can be booked before to avoid huge queue.

1 year ago Mike Antoniadis- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

This place is a fantastic spot to walk around and see incredible views of the city. The park has many sights and provides many areas where you can rest, stop and take in the views. Tons of opportunities for good pictures as well. Highly recommend if you come to Barcelona.

1 year ago Amanda Vosloh-Tedford- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

OMG! I can't say enough amazing stuff about this place!!! It was so interesting learning about the original plans for the park and seeing all the amazing designs. I LOVED IT! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Barcelona. We got there early, which I recommend to attempt to beat some of the crowd. It fills up quickly. If you want to take pictures, get there before it opens and stand in line. When I go back, I'll know what areas to go to first because the area really does fill up fast. I scheduled about two hours for us to spend there and wish I'd done more. In fact, I'd at least double that if you enjoy architecture and being outdoors even a little. There's also a small bakery on site so you can grab a bite while you wander. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is a WINNER!

1 year ago Shreyawrote only this about this place:

Beautiful place and can spend hours roaming around. The architecture is really beautiful. It's recommended to buy the tickets way in advance as the slots get sold out months in advance.

1 year ago Bill Soucie- why does he think this place is on the list?

This is a very interesting place to visit while in Barcelona. However, it gets so crowded that it is anything but relaxing. We just had 45 minutes which made it not fun. The lines for the toilet and to enter the buildings consume a huge amount of time. I suggest going very early or late and set aside at least a couple hours to explore, otherwise just prepare yourself for a massive and noisy crowd fighting to get pictures of everything.

1. place definitely deserves La Sagrada Familia

La Sagrada Familia
Numerically, he has the 9.6/10!. This place was visited and rated 247451-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Kristen Townsendwrote only this for this place:

Most beautiful church, and possibly the most beautiful place I have ever been. It really can't be described without seeing it. It's a true work of art. I highly recommend doing the towers while you're there. I also recommend buying tickets in advance. We had a lovely tour in English and Spanish, and it made it much more enjoyable understanding the history behind the conception and ongoing plans.

1 year ago Heather Skalesaid the following about this gem:

Most beautiful church I've ever visited. Over the top color from stained glass windows reflected all over. Gaudis nature inspired design can be seen everywhere, from trees to bugs. Colors are more vibrant in the morning. We took the nativity tower ride too, very neat to see. Construction is still ongoing. The must-see in Barcelona.

1 year ago Briana Villarrealdescribed this experience as follows:

I strongly encourage everyone to visit this magnificent church, I’m eager to come back once it’s complete. I recommend booking a tour to not only ensure entry but to dive into the history and details that lay within the church, it will not disappoint. If you are to visit I recommend either morning or evening, the sun shines through beautifully making it more enchanting with its colored glass windows. Keep in mind there will still be a wait to enter as you do have to pass security.

1 year ago ray tsangsaid the following about this gem:

In a word... Wow. We booked our visit for the end of the day so we would be there as close to the golden hour as possible. The late afternoon sun coming through the stained glass windows was truly stunning. The light colored stone interior was the perfect canvas for the stained glass light to project onto. We took the last elevator to the Nativity tower which offered lovely vignettes of the surrounding city and the building itself as we wound our way down the narrow stairs (5 min. descent).

1 year ago Hesham Alshexplained best how he liked it:

This is a monumental place steeped in history. The building's architecture is breathtaking and arguably one of the best in the world. Rich in history, you can feel its significance when you step inside. Make sure to bring headphones to listen to the audio recordings if you're visiting alone without a tour guide (as they can be expensive). Arrive early and book tickets in advance, and try to avoid weekends if possible. Restrooms are located outside along the side wall.
