What our travelers says:

1 year ago Andrei Iulian Manea: it is necessary to add to this place:

The museum holds a large amount of cool/interesting pieces, some of which are interactive and, unlike other museums, kept me dialed in and made me want to know more. The place is very children-friendly and has some special games for them. However, the downside is that there is way too much stuff to see in one go, as I feel like navigating through a large variety of subjects (from history and ancient wars to recent technology and architecture) is rather overwhelming. All in all, it was a cool place to spend a couple of hours in while visiting Milan.

1 year ago Tanya Tanya- why does he think this place is on the list?

Reading other reviews very difficult to understand is it any good or no. In my opinion it’s very good and worth your time to visit. Of course like in any other museum something will be very boring and not interesting. Some other parts will be breathtaking. Others just interesting to have a look at, and others absolutely fascinating if you know history well enough. Where is no cafe or any place to buy snacks or drinks, just vending machine. So take a sandwich and a bottle of water with you.

1 year ago Carlos Lindadeexplained best how he liked it:

This museum is a captivating blend past, present and future, making it an ideal destination for both kids and adults. This massive museum includes a rich collection of exhibits that seamlessly intertwine science and history from different perspectives. The museum's vastness allows for a day filled with exploration and discovery. Whether you're a history or science enthusiast or simply looking for a family-friendly outing, this museum offers an option for all (even for a first date).

1 year ago Alin Mihaiwrote only this about this place:

Very nice, well planned and marked to know were to go. Very large with alot of displays. An outside area with a submarine, rocket and airplane fighter. Some old huge locomotives and ships. It is a good place to lose yourself for a good 2-3 hours.

1 year ago Laszlo Elekeswrote only this for this place:

We visited this place with our kids, who don't speak Italian, we (adults) also struggle with this language, so we appreciated that (almost) everything is also available in English. When I say "almost", I mean that some videos or interactive stuff are only in Italian. The place is enormous, it's quite overwhelming to visit, especially with kids.

Moreover, it has this Italian taste of art that’s contain statues in its corners which is very amazing you are sitting inside a garden which has the same monuments as a museum. Additionally, it has some kids area which contain some good games for your kids. Water fountains are there to ease your thirst. I can spend days there with all family members being satisfied.

1 year ago Yu Khowhat can I say about this place?

It's a beatififul place in the heart of Milan, there are some playgrounds, a few benches to have a rest, a little pond and a place for the dogs to get excited. Must be a great place to find a shade under the trees on a hot day.

2 years ago Goran- why does he think this place is on the list?

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this beautiful garden while wandering the streets of Milan. The garden is huge, with many different trees, green areas to enjoy, jogging paths, children's playgrounds, ponds. The garden also houses the Museum of Natural History and the Planetarium.

1 year ago Christina Ievaluates this place as follows:

I came across this park while trying to go to a cafe. It's quite large and has many benches to sit! There are some ponds and water fountains inside as well! It's a nice little escape for when you're tired of the city atmosphere of Milan.

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Pong Leniswrote only this for this place:

One of the best collections of artwork you will ever see, this collection is up there with the Uffizi art gallery. It has an absolutely incredible collection of paintings, statues, sculptures and jewelry. It’s also located in a very unique building with amazing architecture. I would definitely recommend checking out this museum.

1 year ago X Xdescribed this experience as follows:

The Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan is a magnificent showcase of European art, particularly strong in Italian paintings. The gallery, housed in a historic 17th-century building, offers a journey through centuries of artistic genius. Notable for its collection of Italian Renaissance art, it features masterpieces by Caravaggio, Raphael, and Tintoretto. Each room is thoughtfully curated, providing context and insight into the evolution of artistic styles. The ambiance is serene, ideal for contemplation. A must-visit for art enthusiasts, it offers a deep, enriching experience that captures the essence of Italy's rich artistic heritage.

1 year ago Kairav Shahwrote only this about this place:

This museum has got it all as far as paintings are concerned. Sprawled across 30 halls, the museum covers Modern art to Baroque to the Renaissance era featuring iconic artists such as Caravaggio and Raphael. As a novice museum-goer, couldn't have asked for anything else except for more time to explore perhaps. Take a look at the photos and decide for yourself!

1 year ago Mila Konikawrote only this for this place:

Amazing experience. The public gallery in a beautiful classical building. Great exposition and collection of the painting. The paintings were mostly religious themed. We bought tickets online, and entrance was without waiting.

1 year ago Gabriella Zago Poelman- why does he think this place is on the list?

Best Pinacoteca in Europe, better than the Louvre and the National Gallery. Huge collection of the best painters of the world. Don't miss it

7. place is occupied by Teatro alla Scala

Teatro alla Scala
Definitely deserves 9.4/10!. This place was visited and rated 27043-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Jacky Carversaid the following about this gem:

A beautiful and historic theater house that's still in use today. The who's who of Italy have graced this venue! The tickets I purchased directly through the website were very reasonably priced. They included viewing the plush red and golden theater from box seats and a self guided tour of the museum. The museum has tons of memorabilia from plays and concerts over hundreds of years! The venue itself is gorgeous! It's definitely worth a visit while in Milano!

1 year ago Yu Khohow did he rate it?

It is one of the most beatififul, impressive and memorable places in Milan. We only visited the museum and loved it. You can see pictures, instruments and the jewellery used in various operas. Will return to see the show, hopefully. Highly recommend to everyone

1 year ago Enea Kotewhat can I say about this place?

Of course this theater is beautiful, but I think the standard tickets 12€ a person are not worth it at all. You can not do much, you can enter to 4-5 rooms that are exactly the same and have the same view of the theater. All you can do is enjoying the view and take pictures. That's all. Then you can see a little museum with paintings of famous artist and some music instruments. I think if you want to see more on the inside of the theater you should reserve a tour in advance, to pay extra. You can se other rooms of the theater and enter the stage. For me, it's not worth it. Just paid that 12€ to take my girlfriend a bunch of pictures and that's all -.-

1 year ago Jane Emmett- why does he think this place is on the list?

I am so pleased I had the opportunity to visit La Scala. Time constraints meant I only bought an entrance ticket & did not do a tour, however, it was so beautiful & the museum was incredible. There was a rehearsal for the next night which added to the magic. My aim would be to return one day to watch a performance. Highly recommend.

1 year ago Ram Pwrote only this for this place:

A legend that the world loves and that we wish we could be a part of at least once... When you walk through the rooms with musical instruments and paintings, it's as if you hear the incomparable voice of Maria Callas in La Traviata. Maybe it would be a good idea for this to establish the silence there.

Absolutely beautiful architecture, looks stunning in the nighttime when lit up. Was filled with lots of historical artifacts and artwork, it’s a very well kept and the castle is in very good condition. Very historic with lots to see and do. It has a very nice museum. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re visiting Milan.

1 year ago Tanya Tanya- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Very big and beautiful. Definitely one of the must see. Worth the money and time. Very big territory to walk around. Didn’t get a chance to visit museum as it was closed the day we came, it was Monday. Absolutely would love to see it inside, unfortunately it is completely closed for public. But still impressive and beautiful castle.

1 year ago Wendy Sandstonewrote only this about this place:

The courtyards of the castle are free to visit. They offer a quieter green space and views of the castle walls in the busy city. There is also a mulberry arch in the first courtyard - brilliant idea to create shade in the summertime and a gardener's delight. The arches themselves are pretty in form. The ladders to prune the mulberries and to twine the branches around the structure are likely very high!

1 year ago Libby Waleswhat can I say about this place?

Very cool place to walk around. We didn’t go in any of the museums because we didn’t have too long but you could easily spend a whole day here! Otherwise it is free to walk around. On Saturdays there is a huge market on the outskirts of the castle with bags, food, mulled wine, lots of trinkets, cooking items etc! Highly recommend.

1 year ago Dominik Kuthanwrote only this for this place:

Amazing open fortress very close to the city centre. Pretty much within walking distance from other landmarks as well as main train station. Wide and gorgeous park right by a medieval castle in the historic centre of Milan, it’s very calming to walk around and enjoy nature. The fall foliage added to the ambiance of the park. Highly recommend to visit and enjoy nature.

1 year ago Sheilaexplained best how he liked it:

We had a stroll in the park and walked to the end where the arc was. Great weather, slow, calming vibes and many owners with their dogs. There was the Christmas market and their local market as it was a holiday in Italy. Good

1 year ago Eny Milk- why does he think this place is on the list?

Nice to seem some greenery in Milan. It's a breath of fresh air and a quiet place to visit with a nearby aquarium for only 5 Euros. Definitely worth a visit.

1 year ago diane Thompson: it is necessary to add to this place:

Lovely park. The place is quite big, and there's plenty of little hidden gems. The entrance of the park starts with the arc then takes you through to the castle. There's also the arena to see, which was great to have a look around.

1 year ago Narender Kumarwhat can I say about this place?

First you go to the magnificent Castello Sforzesco, walk through it and you've reached this park. Simply wonderful, with people jogging, walking with their pets, sitting with their coffees. The park feels safe and it's been taken good care of it by the municipality. At nights there is something like an amusement park but we were there in the morning

3. place definitely deserves San Siro Stadium

San Siro Stadium
Definitely deserves 9.4/10!. This place was visited and rated 83802-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Jon Cohenevaluates this place as follows:

I stopped by this football stadium Mecca in order to visit the museum and take the tour. For any football fan, visiting San Siro is a must. The tour gives you access to both the Milan and Inter locker rooms, as well as the stadium grounds. The museum has cool memorabilia of the team players, past and present. The stadium store has wide selection of club themed clothing and various gift ideas. If you are a fan of the teams, expect to leave the store with at least 1 item. Visiting San Siro Stadium was definitely worth it and I would recommend it to any football fan.

1 year ago Guillermo Armando Hernandezhow did he rate it?

One of the world's football cathedrals. The tour is perfect, getting into the most private rooms in each team and following the history and the actual state of the Stadium. There is so much history that you can breathe with the excitement of getting on the pitch or the bench.

1 year ago Laszlo Elekeswrote only this about this place:

Our family recently visited the iconic San Siro Stadium, and despite the hefty entrance fee of approximately 88 EUR, the experience proved to be a thrilling adventure, especially for my football enthusiast son. As someone who isn't a die-hard football fan, I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer grandeur of the stadium. The aura and history that permeate the venue are palpable, making it an impressive sight for even those less inclined towards the sport. However, the real magic happened for my 10-year-old son, who was practically in heaven exploring the home of some of football's greatest legends. The guided tour, though not overly extensive, provided interesting insights into the stadium's rich history and showcased key areas, including the player locker rooms and the pitch itself. Our guide was knowledgeable and added a personal touch to the experience, making it engaging for both adults and kids. While the overall visit was well worth it, one aspect that left a slightly bitter taste was the expensive merchandise in the stadium shop. It's no surprise that sports memorabilia can be pricey, but the costs here felt notably steep. Families should be prepared for the temptation of indulging in fan gear but be cautious of the dent it might make in your wallet. In conclusion, San Siro Stadium is undeniably a must-visit for football enthusiasts and even those with a casual interest in the sport. The awe-inspiring atmosphere and the sheer magnitude of the venue make it a memorable experience for the whole family. Despite the high entrance fee and pricey merchandise, the joy it brought to my son made it a worthwhile outing that we'll remember for years to come

1 year ago elaine “Ellie le Pink”- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

Top notch... was surprised with how easy it was to go in and find out location..... has some 4 flights of steps to go up to the second circle . Toilets were good considering that for the derby there were over 75k people ..... very safe with police everywhere, didn't come across not even one fight .... the flow to go out was good, constantly moving and never stuck . Can't wait to go back 🤗

1 year ago Kathryn Pearcesaid the following about this gem:

Great stadium tour. You start in the museum looking at all the famous players t shirts. Then your tour guide takes you to the Inter and AC Milan changing rooms. Next you get a pitch tour and finally you head into the history of the stadium including plaques on all the previous FA Cup winners. I hate footfall but actually loved this tour.

2. place belongs to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
We rate the place at 9.4/10!. This place was visited and rated 93621-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Laszlo Elekessaid the following about this gem:

Our family recently explored the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the experience was nothing short of stunning. The architecture of the Galleria is awe-inspiring, with its elegant design and intricate detailing. Walking through the historic passageways, we felt transported to a bygone era of grandeur and sophistication. The kids were fascinated by the intricate mosaics, high glass ceilings, and the general sense of opulence that permeated the surroundings. However, for a family on a budget, the allure of the luxury shops and designer boutiques was bittersweet. While window shopping was enjoyable, the reality was that most of the items on display were way beyond our financial reach. It's essential for families to be aware that this is more of an experience destination than a budget-friendly shopping spot. On a positive note, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the Galleria is not just about shopping. We took a moment to enjoy a coffee in one of the historic cafes, soaking in the ambiance and people-watching, which added a pleasant touch to our visit. In summary, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a must-visit for its architectural marvel and historical significance. Families should approach it with the understanding that the shopping experience might be more aspirational than practical, but the overall ambiance and cultural richness make it a worthwhile stop, even if you're not planning to splurge on designer goods.

1 year ago John Chansoo Kimexplained best how he liked it:

I visited a splendid place where the past and present, everyday life and luxury, beautifully intermingle among the places I've been to shop. The coexistence of Prada's past and present was particularly fascinating. Moreover, the sight of Gucci's extravagant Christmas tree in front of the Prada store felt like a challenge to competing brands, adding an intriguing touch. I look forward to enjoying this place more leisurely on my next visit.

1 year ago Batu Eroglu- why does he think this place is on the list?

The building itself is gorgeous and mesmerizing. We had a good time walking around. It’s also fun to look around the luxury stores but other than that there isn’t much to do or look at. It’s also extremely crowded to the point that it gets difficult to walk.

1 year ago Mykola Kurussaid the following about this gem:

Not sure how to describe this place correctly. Shopping center with the most famous brands. Most people visit it just to take a look and make a photo. It makes sense to visit just to close point "to see the most famous shopping gallery in Europe". In general, nothing special. Nice stationary shop with a some unique souvenirs.

1 year ago Senada Mullaliuevaluates this place as follows:

What a remarkably beautiful place – inside and out! Magnificent. An exquisite demonstration of unparalleled artistry and skill. The architecture, the murals and pretty much everything else. The attention to detail is simply wow-inspiring. Full of elegant shops and upscale dining establishments, the Galleria creates an ambiance of beauty while maintaining a luxurious price range. Standing in the middle and gazing up at the mesmerizing murals, each one depicting a different continent, is the pinnacle of this experience. Great vibes.

1. place is occupied by Duomo di Milano

Duomo di Milano
Numerically, he has the 9.6/10!. This place was visited and rated 143695-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Laszlo Elekeswrote only this for this place:

Visiting Milan Duomo with my family, including two kids, was an overall okay experience, but a few aspects left us with mixed feelings. The cathedral itself is a breathtaking masterpiece, with its intricate architecture and stunning design. Our kids were fascinated by the grandeur of the exterior and the history behind this iconic landmark. However, our enthusiasm was somewhat dampened by the extensive security measures at the entrance. While safety is undoubtedly important, the level of scrutiny felt exaggerated, making the entry process a bit tedious, especially with children in tow. One major downside during our visit was the ongoing renovation work. It impacted the overall ambiance and obstructed some of the views, diminishing the full splendor of this historical site. Additionally, the cost of going up in the tower with the elevator was a bit steep (17 EUR / person if I remember correctly). We opted to skip the tower ascent due to the high cost, which was disappointing considering it's one of the main attractions. On a positive note, the interior of the cathedral was awe-inspiring, and exploring the surrounding square was a delightful experience. The vibrant atmosphere and surrounding shops and cafes added to the charm of the visit. In conclusion, Milan Duomo is undoubtedly a must-visit, but potential visitors should be aware of the renovation work and be prepared for the associated challenges. The security measures could be more streamlined, and the pricing for additional experiences like the tower ascent may need reconsideration, particularly for families with children.

1 year ago Sheilaevaluates this place as follows:

Majestic. The roofs were nice to be on just for photo. No one really cared about the history. We did the tour. It was draggy. The only good thing we had was the elevator access but going down was a long way down the steps.

1 year ago Victoria Shefer- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

It’s very beautiful and authentic. The fact that it was built in around 600 years makes it even more interesting😂 I recommend you to buy a ticket and go to the terrace to enjoy the view from above. It’s magnificent. I also recommend coming in the morning right after the opening hours. You can buy a €1 cheaper ticket in the ticket office and at 9:30 there is no queue at all. The ticket to the dome, museum and terrace costs €15 in the ticket office and €16 online. You can choose which variant you prefer

1 year ago Vearchi Chis workshopexplained best how he liked it:

Beautiful and grand church. Remember book online before you go🏃‍♂️. You can choose “Stair / Lift” ticket. And if you like the souvenir coin, bring €2+€0.5 to make a memorable coin on rooftop.

Bought the full price ticket €23.95. Toured the terraces and roof tops. It’s amazing how you wan just wonder about on the roof. Inside the cathedral is beautiful. Well worth the tour.
