Well worth a visit. We were lucky that it wasn't very busy, so it made the visit more enjoyable and leisurely. Some amazing architecture.

1 year ago Sara Finnexplained best how he liked it:

We visited the Xmas market. Beautifully decorated with Christmas lights. Awesome atmosphere. Plenty of stalls and entertainment for kids too!

2 years ago Daria Somovasaid the following about this gem:

Amazing place! Very beautiful architecture and spots. Was after 1 pm and there were just a few people. It gave a chance to spend enough time in each spot. Great and helpful staff! Separate gratefulness for providing water with tickets❤️

1 year ago Felipe Assiswrote only this for this place:

Was there visiting for an event, place is very beautiful, big, well arranged. Just the bathroom's had no water which was a bit problematic not being able to wash your hands , but besides that was all great. Recommend checking the place.

1 year ago Flo Kamera Sichtwrote only this for this place:

Don’t.!!! This is an absolute tourist trap. We paid 10€ per adult person for nothing. some of the buildings are in need of renovation. No art exhibition, no artisan handcraft shops, no cafe. no restaurant, nothing. Just junk around. And, of course, some empty buildings. But 10€ p.p. Is way to much for this …

Llotja de Palma
We rate 9/10!. This place was visited and rated 4113-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago UnDiplomatic Wife- why does he think this place is on the list?

A beautiful events space that makes me think of GOT. The architecture is grand and makes you admire how they built places like this a long time ago. It really makes us realize how small we are. Don’t forget to look up to see the different seals.

1 year ago Henry Osuagwuwhat can I say about this place?

The capital of the island of palma is located in the bay of the same name and enjoys an excellent climate all year round (with an average annual temperature of Known for its sun and beach tourism, it also has an attractive historic quarter

2 years ago Horia Banciu: it is necessary to add to this place:

Wonderfully preserved public building with Gothic style dating back in 15th Century and still in use! The acoustic of the main hall is surprising, just shout and hear! It was pity that we couldn't visit the inner garden at the time of travel. We also admired the spectacular view of Llotja from the harbor.

2 years ago Kamila Świerska- why does he think this place is on the list?

Very nice guild building from XV century located close to the old town. Gothic architecture. Sometimes there are some art exhibition being held in this place as well. Entrance is free. Some restaurants are nearby.

Definitely deserves 9.4/10!. This place was visited and rated 4948-times

What our travelers says:

I don't normally like to visit churches on tours but this one is a must. The architecture and staind glass is aww inspiring.

6 years ago Waleed Jabbooryevaluates this place as follows:

The cathedral connects two dimensions, spiritual as a religious structure and another historical, artistic and architectural. The construction reflects the grandeur and gaudy Gothic style. The site must be visited more than once to get to know its artistic value.

5 years ago Sorin Bogdanevaluates this place as follows:

Beautiful place with amazing light and lots of things to see inside. Not very different than ur usual big cathedral but still worth a visit since it's not so expensive . It is also near the city centre with many things to see around and close to the beach. Get the audi guide to understand better otherwise you just looking at walls.

6 years ago Tamsin Browndescribed this experience as follows:

The Cathedral is amazing, plenty of options for taking some fantastic photos. Didn't enter the Cathedral however there is a small museum at the back which is not huge, but it only costs €4.50 so worth a visit. Plenty of shops on the outside of the Cathedral itself, all in all, a beautiful piece of history.

5 years ago Christopher Chancewrote only this for this place:

Beautiful cathedral! The exterior views are phenomenal! The cost seems a little high to get in (9€ per person). But the inside is pretty unique. The ocean theme appears throughout the cathedral and is pretty unique.

7. place - Royal Palace of La Almudaina

Royal Palace of La Almudaina
Definitely deserves 9/10!. This place was visited and rated 6208-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Samanta Roxyhow did he rate it?

Beautiful piece of history and architecture, worth to visit and discover a bit more of the palace life back in a days. Magnificent artworks inside along with impressive furniture and beautiful small chapel. Tickets are only €7. Make sure you walk around along the gardens with fountains which previously were used to grow vegetable.

1 year ago Elisadescribed this experience as follows:

The Royal Palace is next to the Cathedral Mallorca. So I recommend to do the combination of the cathedral & palace. For example go at 10 AM to the Cathedral and around 12.30 PM to the palace. The tickets of the palace were 7 euro per person and you can also buy the audio guide for 5 euro. It was very impressive to see so many large carpets on the walls & the study rooms.

1 year ago nele: it is necessary to add to this place:

A great museum with a surprisingly unexpected history. A peaceful atmosphere and a well-developed audio guide complete the museum visit. Even if you're not really interested in the history: this palace is just nice to look at (I mean they had something called style back then). You also have another great view over the harbour of Palma from the palace.

1 year ago Maryam Klidsarwhat can I say about this place?

I didn't have the chance to go inside but the building and surroundings were stunning even from the outside so make sure you pass by if you're in Palma

1 year ago Faris Gharib- why does he think this place is on the list?

Gorgeous cathedral in the center of Palma. We wandered around to try to find the entrance but we couldn't and we were in a bit of a rush so gave up looking further. Reading the reviews I hear it is impressive inside as well.

6. place deserves Train Sóller Station (Palma de Mallorca)

Train Sóller Station (Palma de Mallorca)
Numerically, he has the 8.8/10!. This place was visited and rated 9411-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Animesh Kumarsaid the following about this gem:

Be there well before scheduled departure for a seat of your choice. First come first serve basis. Very highly recommended for an amazing experience. It was the best decision to go to Sóller with this vintage train. For the best views sit in the last cart on the right hand side in the direction of travel to Sóller. The train takes a small stop for 5 minutes at a beautiful panoramic photo point where everyone is allowed to get down and capture some nice photos. During the summer season; while travelling back to Palma sit on the left hand side or else hot sun rays will be a big trouble. The train runs at a very moderate speed; so you can actually stand outside the cart during the travel which I found was really cool and we got some amazing pictures too.

1 year ago Claire Beesonevaluates this place as follows:

A lovely old train, dating back from early 1900’s! We journeyed from soller to Palma on a very wet day! Still a great journey, picturesque and wonderful experience! I’m off peak it was easy to get a ticket and we could have changed the return journey time. Carriage to ourselves on the outward journey! Look out for all the beautiful land,,olive trees and cacao treas! Plenty of fram wildlife too!

1 year ago Andrew Walshwrote only this for this place:

Popular tourist attraction, so consider booking. Nice journey through stunning scenery. Old train that travels at a fair speed. Good for young and old alike.

1 year ago Chyrelle McAlistersaid the following about this gem:

If you're near Palma, you absolutely need to do this trip to Soller and Port Soller. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been! It cost us €35 each for the tram, including the tranvia to the Port and it's well worth it. Such a beautiful, relaxing day out! The views from the tram are incredible. My best advice is to go mid-week and get to the ticket office very early. The first tram is 10.10am but the tram starts to fill up really quickly so get your seat early!

1 year ago Richard Landerwrote only this about this place:

If you like chaos, disorganization, poor instructions, being uncomfortable but in the past, then this is an experience for you. Boarding the train was chaos. Arriving and trying to find the tram stop, that was actually there, was frustrating. Another packed car to Port Soller. Port Soller is lovely but you need to place your return by the hour. We came right back. Soller was small and not much to see. We had 3 hrs to fill so we took the bus back. Too touristy and crowded for my taste. Neither the train not Soller are recommended.

5. place gets Cala Major

Cala Major
We rate 8.8/10!. This place was visited and rated 9974-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Povilas Rutkauskaswrote only this for this place:

Good location, amazing view, great food. There is no parking near the hotel, you have to leave the car and walk. The hotel itself is quite old and has seen everything, it already needs repair. The bedding is clean, the food is excellent. True, colleagues the elevator is stuck. There were not many people, it was quiet. Basically satisfied, only the price could have been lower according to the quality. Hotel type, 2-3 star. I will repeat, the food is really good, we ate breakfast every day.

1 year ago Jesus Canohow did he rate it?

Great little beach, especially if Palma is a port of call for your cruise ship and you’re looking for a beach day. 30 minute walk or 5 minutes via taxi. Facilites on site, as well as a bar and restaurant. Loungers and umbrellas are available to rent from the city as well. Just look for the attendant walking around the beach for rental and prices.

1 year ago RapidRomRemovals RRRwrote only this about this place:

I would say the best time of my life Staying in a 5 star hotel Nixe(palace) Cala Major the people are friendly a lot of places to wine and dine. Public beach just have to look after your things.its a bit a expensive but it's Worth it.the weather was lovely for someone coming from England at 20 degrees Celsius I was in the pool and beach swimming comfortably . You have a marina nearby jetski, yatch ,boats etc.

1 year ago Agnieszka Walkiewiczexplained best how he liked it:

Beautiful beach, excellent for families with kids. Toilets are free 😊

1 year ago jeremy chowrote only this for this place:

Parking is non existent. Heavy traffic just behind the beach and the beach is mainly for the hotel guests .. small hotel cafe and a few shops and eateries lining the walkway fronting the beach. No public toilets

4. place belongs to Castell de Bellver

Castell de Bellver
We rate 9/10!. This place was visited and rated 20259-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago michael loraaswrote only this about this place:

Buy your tickets near the parking lot, then walk back down the road to the entrance up the steps. There are a few museum areas inside the rings that display the history of Palma and Mallorca. There are quite a few recovered pieces of pottery. Then, there are a lot of statues and busts. Finally you reach the top and have totally amazing views 360 degrees.

1 year ago William Burkesaid the following about this gem:

Very pretty and well worth the trip out of the city centre. Very interesting history about the castle and the impact it had over the local area. Pretty well connected to the local area by one of the hop on hop off busses. Much cheaper and more efficient than a taxi

1 year ago Nadiia Fernandezsaid the following about this gem:

Just coming up to the castle is an experience worth living on its own. The breathtaking views, the hike, the playground on the other end of the hike, the history worth learning… I could go on and on… the castle is kept clean and in prestige condition, the price of the ticket is just 4€ per “non Palma resident” visitor or 2.5€ if you are a Palma resident. Highly recommended.

1 year ago Jacques Toupedescribed this experience as follows:

Parking is very minimal, had to park on entry road and walk up..Technical difficulties with ticket purchase left is waiting for an hour. No concessions, bring water or a snack. Once we entered, it was stunning and worth all the hassle 😍

1 year ago Nick Tomsdescribed this experience as follows:

Well worth a visit if you're in Palma. Extensive grounds that are great for getting some exercise or walking the dog. You don't have to pay to park or get an eyeful of the views but 4 euro seems reasonable to get into the castle itself. Loads of stray cats wandering around but they're not very friendly.

3. place - Plaça d'Espanya

Plaça d'Espanya
We rate the place at 8.6/10!. This place was visited and rated 23196-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Spirit of Nordiaexplained best how he liked it:

There are seasonal moods passing through this place. Blankets on the grass along the summer, people and birds are singing. Right now, that December has just started, they are children attractions. Even an ice-rink is welcoming little and bigger kids. The price of €6 for the ice skates comes with the mandatory gloves wearing, for €2 more by need. It's a good mastered and achieved challenge for this outdoor offer in the centre of a balearic city , while the price is the tip of the top for the pretty plastic-like feeling of a long and narrow ice field where the ice isn't really refreshed along the day. There is a large red carpeted path leading a long winter market with various stands. The white container-houses make the promise of betterment for the years to come. They all drive the visitors until the unique tunnel under the Xmas tree overlooking the whole park. Around this beautiful led-luminous enormous tree, a square place encircled by for the event bars and fast food merchants . Once the night has come, past pink spots simulate snow on the place's plane trees. Churros are the sweet, crunchy, and try speciality here, if you know them already! You're invited to choose the accompanying tastes. If you hesitate, simple sugar and cinnamon will make it. The ambience is a bit shy yet, but delicious hot wine is to find there. It's worth the try, and anyway, the visiting walk!

2 years ago Rob Fordhow did he rate it?

The area was moderately busy, but not crowded. Part of it was screened off and a couple of police were standing there, but everything seemed very relaxed. The views of the surrounding architecture and the main statue were fascinating, but we were drawn to the weather station on four sides of a structure. I have to admit I haven't tried using the QR code set in its base, but please try it for yourself.

1 year ago Maggie Crouchwhat can I say about this place?

Great idea, loads of different pizza toppings, you chose they slice and weigh - you can have as many different ones as you like Great for sharing

1 year ago eddy12345ismevaluates this place as follows:

Great place to spend time with family during holidays or weekends... we had fun

1 year ago Ingrid Garacki- why does he think this place is on the list?

I visited this square in the morning and late evening, compared to the rest of the city this is less expensive or touristy spot. We had amazing ice-cream and we could see loads of ppl just chilling after work and having a good time. Not sure was it the amount of drinks or cigarettes that was on every table that put me off. Considering esthetic and comfort I gave it 3 stars, at the same time it's excellent travel spot for connecting buses. We had airport bus, hop on hop off and regular city bus. Oh yes big plus were the Muller (German drugstore)and Mercador.

2. place deserves Palma Aquarium

Palma Aquarium
Definitely deserves 8.8/10!. This place was visited and rated 24906-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago Animesh Kumarevaluates this place as follows:

A good place for small kids. I got it confused with underground sea world. They do have a lots of collection from fishes and sea life. The main highlight is Big blue where they have big sharks swimming freely. They do pass really close from the other side, so you get really good pictures too. You have to pay for Shark vision but it is a good experience to watch some sharks swimming under your feet. They do have a big cafeteria where you can have snacks and meals. The entrance has a little waiting time based on your booked slot. The place can be overcrowded during the weekends. We were little disappointed but the experience was good.

1 year ago Elisawrote only this about this place:

We arrived here 09.30 AM, because we know there's a small parking lot with free parking. We bought the tickets online: The entrance + 3D cinema + extra 2x snack & drink (54 euro). There were 9 areas. The 3D cinema was impressive but unfortunately very short. The noice of the whales were also very loud, so be prepared. We really liked the jungle with the waterfall.

1 year ago Alex Jones- why does he think this place is on the list?

Really excellent aquarium, with many species and varieties of animals to see, including an outside jungle with macaws which was unexpected but fantastic. The UK could definitely learn a lot from the layout and design of this aquarium. Improvements: - Need to install water refill points around the site so people can refill their bottles (more environmentally friendly) and not pay €2.20 for a water (especially being so close to the airport where a lot of people come/go to the airport). - do not print peoples photos first without asking them if they actually want a copy. We refused our copy which was already printed (very wasteful), they should remain digital until the point of the customer actually wanting a physical copy. (Not very eco friendly). - 10 sections of the whole site to see but very poor sign posts directing you to the next area. Needs arrows with numbers on. Otherwise a 10/10 aquarium.

1 year ago vilwrote only this for this place:

Well worth the entrance price. You can spend 3hours easily. Restaurant has to improve since 16eur for a flavourless cod is more than enough.

1 year ago Andrei Semen: it is necessary to add to this place:

Our family visited Palma Aquarium on 21st January, and it proved to be an extraordinary experience, surpassing any other aquariums we've explored in the past. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the colossal tanks that housed an impressive array of marine life. Witnessing at least 10 adult sharks gracefully gliding through the water was a breathtaking spectacle. The aquarium's commitment to creating an immersive experience was evident, and we were particularly captivated by the unique Shark Vision Board. Floating on a tiny boat above the shark tank provided a thrilling perspective that added a sense of adventure to our visit. The facilities at Palma Aquarium were top-notch. The entire layout was well-designed, offering plenty of space for families to explore and enjoy the various exhibits. Our little ones were delighted to discover numerous play areas that provided a perfect balance between education and entertainment. While the majority of the facilities were exceptional, we did note that some of the restaurants were closed during our visit. However, this did not dampen our experience, as the available dining options still met our needs with satisfying choices.

1. place - Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca

Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca
We rate the place at 9.4/10!. This place was visited and rated 47039-times

What our travelers says:

1 year ago michael loraas- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

It was very much a must-see when coming to Mallorca. After walking around Palma, I noticed quite a few large old places of worship, but this is definitely the crowning jewel. The line is quicker if you pre purchase your tickets online. There was so much unreal workmanship to see, I took my time enjoying it and took lots of pictures to review what I missed. I am happy I dedicated the time to see this cathedral.

1 year ago Ebru Yukselwrote only this about this place:

The Cathedral de Mallorca is a must-visit attraction in Palma. The exterior is breathtaking with its grand architecture and intricate details. Climbing to the top provides stunning panoramic views of Palma and the Mediterranean Sea. A truly memorable experience!

1 year ago Animesh Kumarwrote only this for this place:

Huge, really huge cathedral with beautifully decorated Altar and nave. They do have a paid entry to the top of cathedral from where you get a very beautiful 360 degree view. But if you have knee problem, then please avoid because the stair case is very narrow and steep. But the views from the top are too good to be missed. It is worth all the effort you will put to reach there.

1 year ago anthony casey- in short, this experience can be described as follows:

A really beautiful building. Well worth a visit even if you aren’t the most religious. When we went it wasn’t overly busy so could take or time and check it out without feeling rushed. Very interesting spot

1 year ago Ella Harrietdescribed this experience as follows:

Beautiful, a lovely view from down the steps along the water. Even nicer at night, definitely recommend a stroll around during your visit :)
